The staff were very friendly, accommodating and mostly multi-lingual ( German, English, Italian and slovenian). The room and the interior was a three-star hotel accordingly and the cleaning staff came even per day into the room, nevertheless was the cleanliness not ideal but ok. The complex itself is huge as they face the st. Bernardin resort and the portoroz 3 hotels combines. read more

    The room was slightly larger than without. The interior was negligible, so it was okay but not exciting. There was 2 couches and 1 armchair, 1 table with tv and, of course, a large bed which every day was made. The tv had several German speaking channels. Telephone was also available. You can feel the rooms somewhat older but very beautifully renovated and appointed. The cleanliness was okay. Not perfect, but definitely not dirty or insufficient.

    The breakfast and dinner buffet, which in the half board is included, had a wide selection and evenings there were every day different dishes. The cleanliness was first class, however most of the food is a bit spiceless, which on the rather older average age to lead was, nevertheless it tasted. The dining room has a pleasant ambience and it was always discreet classic music in the background to hear. Only one negative are the drink prices but you didn't order.

    The competence and the staff's hospitality is optimal and the foreign languages skills up to the cleaning crew very good. Our tour operator had inadvertently a room without a balcony booked, but that was not a problem at all, immediately after the verdict, that the balcony was missing was a room with a balcony made available. The cleaning of the rooms was not really perfect however in any case not disturbing or dirty.

    You can borrow bikes and it is a small supermarket at the hotel area and also some mode and souvenir shops. The beach is big and nice designed with a beach bar and 2 extra non-swimmer- respectively children's pool with a slides. The quality of the water was outstanding. Chairs and umbrellas cost however extra about 5€ per day. Fresh water showers, toilet and changing rooms are also available.

    The beach is right on your doorstep and you can also with a circa 10 minutes hike the inner city of portoroz and piran explore. For bars, cafes and restaurants is naturally also ensured, are the prices of course higher than if the resort left.

It was a big hotel with sea water pool, a large wellness area ( we didn't use it because of great weather), tennis courts, beach volley field, restaurant and small Shopping street. The rooms in the three star hotel were platzmäsig reasonable and very clean! read more

    Double room with extra bed rather cramped, but sufficient. Balcony for three persons reasonable. Tv ( satellite -program) and telephone available. Small shortcoming: unfortunately no air conditioning! The rooms very clean!

Weather was perfect, however the room on the attic storey had unfortunately no air conditioning at these temperatures unbearable, unfortunately was this room no balcony available, water was very clean! read more

We had a very clean and well-kept apartment in the vile Barka. The breakfast and dinner was excellent, with a very rich offer. We had the shortest path to the beach, which was very well-kept. All in all, the area was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The only downside: below was a coffee bar. There was half a night the people speak and glasses and cups rattle. But we will definitely be going back again! read more

The rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning. The Windows cannot one but not open in the evening, there was a lot of noise comes from outside. The bathroom was moldy and the ventilation was also broken. The TV has a diagonal of 15 centimeter, adjusted to the Zummergröße. We were glad to come home. read more

The grounds St. bernadin includes a 5 * and 4 * hotel, and the 3 * hotel bungalows on. The rooms of the 3 * in different houses a private shopping and Caféstraße along. The rooms are in the 3 *, very functional. Bed, table and chairs and a small bathroom. There are French and normal balconies. The rooms were daily. Clean. The whole area was very clean! Although not new anymore, you were always very obliging. It made a very good impression. There is breakfast, half board and VP. Everything in the form of a buffet. This is no ... party area but it's not a senior paradise! The nationalities were very mixed. The average age was between 25-70 about 30 and 50 read more

    The rooms (16 -18sqm) are functional. Bed, table, chairs, bathroom. The furniture is not new of course! If you buy as at home every year new furniture?? In the 3 star rooms do not have air-conditioning, you'll need it but it wasn't really worth it.

    I have never been to a resort, by it as naturally is that at any restaurant in the you go the menus in 4!! languages mentioned above (Turkish, German, English, Hungarian). Even the waiters could soul German and English. Some Italian. You get very quickly Show and his drinks. The food will quickly and becomes brought within kürzeser time.     The complex has ever hotel a beach section. The distance is about 50m. Portoroz and Piran are a leisurely stroll along the sea in about 30 minutes. Graz Airport 2.5 hours., Trieste Ljubiljana 40 minutes, 25 minutes, Pula (Croatia) a Mercator (small supermarket) is about 5 minutes away. Here, you could get everything you need. In Portoroz and directly in the hotel there is a casino excursion possibilities there are enough, there are many caves and Popular attractions in Slovenia

The hotel is located in a very nice area. On my rating important thing is the location of our room. Our room was in the direction of the shopping arcade inside and across the street from a restaurants so we had quite a lot noise pollution. Absolutely unsuitable for small children, since the windows open due to the heat (no air conditioning). The room itself was very small and we did not want to unpack the bags in the closet, as the back was moldy. Therefore, the cleanliness was also not very much! The food in the neighboring 4 star ... hotel by the quality acceptable, we always found something, only the drink prices are too high. If you arrive on 100 euros, should the 4 star hotel bernadin, since the whole area is available to all people and this is recommendable.     The beach is in the surrounding area, but as usual in Slovenia consisting of cement slabs with adjoining lawn. The water is clean and for snorkeling. They have a choice to the left to the modern Portoroz stroll (about 20 minutes) or turn right into the old winding romantic Piran (approx. 20 minutes) to stroll. Shopping possibilities you found everywhere. The caves of Postojna are highly recommended.

We (my husband and our daughter four years) couldn't get a room without a balcony on the ground floor with grill, I unfortunately not as I knew our suits should drying (). The room was very quiet. The food at the hotel histrion was reasonably well, if you look at the food, the always good. The fruit was moldy, the meat dry and the vegetables were overcooked. After a week we were really happy to go back on local food, the daily cake buffet tempted us not more than that. On the upside is the pool, the proximity to portoroze ... (sandy beach, you can take the bus in five minutes) and Piran and the Laguna park, the our daughter liked most. 3 star I think in Slovenia are not recommendable. read more

    THE ROOMS have NO air conditioning. A minus point because it had health spa facilities Hald every day and you could stand it in the room. From our balcony direct view at the nice big ocean. We were lucky, we got an apartment with air conditioning, otherwise the nights probably not nearly as relaxing. The location was great-moderate, everything is within walking distance, the beach, several bars and restaurants, supermarket, ... Great promenade for an evening walk. I would highly recommend this hotel! read more

We have booked the hotel vile park, since we had our small dog always take on holiday. The other hotels (histrion & bernadin) in conformed to allow no dogs allowed. But it was a good decision. The hotel area was generously placed, car-free, clean and in a great location in Portoroz. The beach promenade one walked down to Piran on one side to the other side to the center of Portoroz. In the area there is a small Boulevard, there were all necessary and unnecessary things (for example, sunglasses, bathing shoes, ice cream, jewelry, and so on) the beach is ... easy to reach and also spacious. There were beach chairs and umbrellas (2.50 €per part of and day) and you shouldn't forget the bathing shoes, since you either via steps into the water or on a retained also only rocks in the water. The water was very salty and clean with 26 degrees. read more

Since we were hardly in the hotel were, I can't say anything about the leisure and bathing possibilities there. Great getaway were the caves of Postojna and skocjan, as well the castle predjama. Unfortunately, everything not very cheap, but definitely worth seeing! The only point, we didn't like: the prices for the drinks were in the evening (with half board) buffet. They were a little excessive. It would be beautiful, if this booking at least water at the table with offered free! As we (except for the first night) every evening the order declined, took the friendliness of the staff ... unfortunately rapidly with from, which was very sad. Quiet, cozy hotel with casino (vouchers: first visit = free drink, second visit = 5.00 euro credit for gambling machines, third visit = 10.00 euro credit for spielautoaten). Breakfast/food at the hotel histrion four star. The staff was very friendly. In the evening live music in the adjacent bars (if you went to bed, you can hear the of course-but that didn't bother us)-basically: nice evening on site with a view of the sea. Small souvenir stores directly at the hotel. 'News cafe' food is highly recommended. Beach directly at the hotel, beach chairs/umbrellas can be rented for ... a fee (2 beach chairs/1 umbrellas and the euro 8.50 per day). Access to the sea via ladder or staircase. Give direction Piran Bernardin-the hotel it both to Piran, as well as to Portoroz about 15 minutes/each beach promenade. Piran is in a beautiful old town; Portoroz has no city center (is more a strip without specific attractions). Supermarket in the proximity of the hotel (toward Portoroz). Bus terminals: directly in Portoroz and Piran shortly before (for example, Koper, Izola). Boat trips you can book at the tourist office in Piran-note: some days before again, we unfortunately didn't work out a last minute booking, because the competent lady not timely.
