An ideal hotel for things to do in the heart of munich! Everything is in the immediate area, opera, viktualienmarkt and other shopping possibilities, the pedestrian area, restaurants. Very good parking in the (admittedly very narrow) parking garage. Cost 19 Euro per night for the hotel guests. (respect, within the middle ring in Munich you need for its vehicle a green feinstaubplakette!) Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and competent. The room was despite our very early arrival, and demand before the specified time (15 hours) obtainable. The room (single standard to the side of the road) was not large, but ... then you find everything, what you need. Good sophisticatedly equipped. Free wi-fi everywhere in the house available, in the reception area also outlets to recharge with market equipment available (for example while you to the room waits). Very good, versatile breakfast buffet for any taste and all preferences, also with regional specialities. Very pleasant ambience in the breakfast room, quiet classic music, bright colors, lots of light. Gastronomy of the hotel not taken into account (but very attractive menus in the restaurants and in the room service ), as well as the the spa of the hotel. The hotel lives off of his name and its location. The atmosphere inside of the hotel is still acceptable, even if noticeably the aura of the 80. years by the building blows. The room was not acceptable; there were rate and offer vastly out of proportion. On the one hand the room was very small and the bathroom was a puppenstube. I had to be careful, that i am not even on the feet am. Worse was however, that the room despite turn off heating overheated was. The sleep with an open window did not work; only was up after ... midnight mood on the street and then shortly after 6 o'clock in the early beer barrels fetched. Schepper, schepper. Hello travellers, A very nice hotel in best dowtown location. Marienplatz and viktualienmarkt in the immediate area. For schoppingreisende a hotspot! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good but without highlights for 4 stars plus. I had a single room on the 5. floor, 150 öere for fifteen meters ². Is not a bargain but location. If the price no role the hotel i would again choose. read more

In the four star superior Hotel Platzl, at best location, close to marienplatz / Rathaus, opposite the hofbräuhaus lodgings to may, is again and again a privilege. We were over new year's eve in the hotel everything was perfect we have felt ourselves super well. It was totally calm and pleasant, although the city was overcrowded. Great breakfast buffet pleasant waiters everything was great clean. Gladly anytime again! read more

We stayed with you my 70-year old birthday celebrated. As einzuge hotel absolutely, i don a attention elsewhere ; 2 glasses Champagne (sparkling wine). Some years ago, as i only with were, the same thing has happened. The director (i happened to meet him), for us a table in restaurant pfistermühle concerned.
