Hotel Tulip Resort^{(4 stars)}

We had a superior room in the new tulip 2 on the 2. floor with a pool- and sea view and were more than satisfied. The rooms in tulip two are equipped with a good size and modern decor. We could three german tv channels (RTL, RTL II, ZDF)

Tulip has two main restaurant (but at our time of travel, because of the utilization, only one was open), as well as a pool and beach bar. The food in the main restaurant conformed to changed daily issues (for example spanish, german or cowboy evening). There are however for pizza and various pasta dishes. At the beach bar there was daily from 12:30 a. m. four different warm of snack (pizza, burgers, Hot Dog, etc.) In summary one could say, that lunch and dinner the selection was very plentiful, varied and beautifully presented. Even if the theme of the day not the taste has taken, there was pizza or noodles go back.

The kindness and the commitment of the staff was very good. %blank% in the restaurant, as well as at the different bars the staff was always obliging and potential complaints or problems quickly to eliminate. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.

Tulip has two pool areas. A entertainment-and a quiet pool. The entertainment team was very active and engaged. The beach features free beach chairs, umbrellas and the Egypt typical wind protection. The reef of the hotel is a approximately 800 meters long jetty.

The Tulip Resort consists of two parts. An older but partly renovated part (tulip 1) and a new part (tulip 2). We were in the tulip 2. As we have only stars hotels in Egypt had, we were initially because of the ' only 4 stars of the hotel somewhat sceptical on merit, property and general condition. But on arrival and the first minutes in the hotel the reservations way. Finally we were by the tulip very positively surprised and could no differences to 5-star hotels see. The guest structure continued primarily from german, italians and a few austrians together.

The transfer time from the airport rmf is about 15 minutes, but anyway isn't hear the aircraft noise. The tulip is also directly because of the own beach. Outside the complex is nothing than desert. For those seeking relaxation - like us - was the tulip therefore the location was perfect.

We had 2 single beds, which case were comfortable. On tv there was ZDF, RTL, and RTL II. The room was spacious. The air conditioning was perfect quiet. You could the mini bar be replaced. (was old and noisy)-but we didn't need. The balcony, as well as the balcony furniture was nice. The bathroom was large enough and to the mirror clean.

The staff was very friendly and gave a lot of effort with being understood. If the rickety chairs in the restaurant repaired, everything would be great. Our room boy looked various things not. We have the various things didn't use it. A pool from the 2 pools is heated. Toilets at the beach were ok. The showers, beach chairs, umbrellas all ok. - even if some were a bit too close to stand together.

The tulip is a doppelanlage and further recommendable. We were for relaxing, swimming and snorkelling there. The paths were on the complex and also to the beach not too long. With the exception of the jetty for snorkelling (approximately 800 meters), but even that was not boring, because the jetty some could find (octopus, rays and much more) we found the bar to be good for anyone with trouble moving about the all inclusive. The cleanliness was general alright with the food we were also satisfied-we did always found something. The cakes and fruit was good. While we were there, there were 50% italians and 50% german-speaking guests there.

From the airport we are about 15 minutes drive. (very pleasant) The guide gave us also directly with water. Shopping in the hotel is not cheap. The town el quesir is about 75 kilometer away. Excursions were offered. We cannot judge, since we did not booked.. Some felt but too expensive for. The hotels left and right are far enough away, because one is a building site (without compensation) and the other is being renovated.

The hotel is ideal for to tighten, without exception all employees are friendly and extremely hard. We were for the 3. time the tulip and we completely satisfied, especially i want to raise hits the commitment of our roomboy Mahmoud, from sadek for the restaurant and of Hassan from quad rental. There is a very recommendable quad tour of 2 hours for 30 Euro bookable. The nearby riff is of stunning beauty, it is completely intact, there were incredibly lots of fish and corals to admire. The rooms are very spacious and attractively decorated. The dishes were always delicious, if you can't find anything to eat here to help. Thank you very much also at Antje the gästebetreuerin. We are definitely coming again. Highly recommend is the holydaycard with you some advantages.

Very nice hotel, the fully intact.

We had a room in the new part. The rooms were relatively large, one had sufficient space for all things, a large bed and still a seating area with two chairs. We had a tv with international channels, a mini bar, air conditioning which we did not need, because it is cool enough, as well as a safe for free. The bathroom was also quite large, with a nice and big shower ☺ cleanliness was also absolutely alright. Every day the room service and everything was tidy and clean and sometimes out of the towels merry animals on the bed folded ☺

There is in the morning, at noon and in the evening a large buffet. One could sit inside or outside on of the terrace sit. Mornings there was so lots of bread- and rolls, as i you haven't seen. If you are up early enough, also small donatus, croissants and sweet rolls with chocolate covered ☺ Also every morning fresh small, wonderful croissants baked, in a durchlauftoaster. Also in the morning a cook only for the preparation of omelets with vegetables and cheese choice or fried eggs responsible (delicious ☺. In addition there were then cold and warm dishes, a little cold meat and cheese, as well as fruits and yogurt. Lunch there was a variety of hot food, and a bread and salad bar with fresh salad and mixed salad. Also fruits and dessert. Evenings there was every evening another motto 'cooked'. For example spanish night, german night, libyan night and so on. There were also again hot and cold dishes, salad and fruit. Outside, there was always a chef and has something grilled. Inside there was a cook, the made to order pasta with either tomatoes or and cheese and vegetables cooked at (delicious!). Also, the small pizzas with coating after choice baked and a, the meat roasted and served! All in all it was a good buffet, where everyone found something has, whether cold or warm. You have every day something else delicious found, otherwise always the pasta from the chef ☺

All of the staff, whom we met were very nice and friendly and helpful, from the gardener to the chef! At the front desk was mostly speak german, with english you but everywhere! There was also a child care, the to the quarter hour kids disco in the evening but not heard. A physician is likewise in the hotel. Complaint was immediately the competent staff and repaired directly!

Every evening there was entertainment offered, either from the animators itself or by a group outside. You then different shows presented. During the day you could all kinds of sport, soccer, Volleyball, Boccia, Zumba, aerobics, yoga, and so on. The entertainers but were not intrusive, but have friendly asked, whether to show or want to take part in the sports, and a no was immediately accepted! Necessarily Ahmed the shisha orld visit and football on arabic look! Funny. You can a shisha smoke or drink, typically furnished in an oriental style. Ahmed speaks also something german and it costs no entrance! Chairs were at the pool and the beach always sufficiently available, you never had to reserve. A great hotel for a beach vacation! Direct at the beach, 4 pools, two heated, two main building with a reception, bar and restaurant, large hotel area, the also for a walk is enough, good entertainment and especially: a great reef the front of the jetty, as the aquarium!

Distance from the airport approximately 20 minutes by bus the tour operator. The hotel is directly at the beach, no street in between. The next town is port ghalib are, since we were not, should probably for a small trip is well worth it. Are approximately 20 minutes with the bus to get there. Otherwise is nothing nearby, a few hotel ruins, nothing else ☺ trips could be booked with the providers at the beach, over the tour operator or the diving school orca book. For example quad safari, snorkelling, boat trips, travel to Luxor and so on. On mondays, wednesdays and fridays drives a bus after port ghalib for 7 Euro per person there and back. The rooms are very spacious with shower/toilet, tv, mini-bar and terrace. To the water for our baby to cook we had a small kettle from at home bring along. The toilet was big but hung the shelve above the sink was slightly down as the screws no longer held. Otherwise great.

There is two restaurants. One in the tulip 1 and one in the tulip 2 we have only the tulip 2 use. The food was a bit monotonous, but good. We were content thereby. There was every day rice, pasta, meat, fish and vegetables. We liked, that you have your own pizza make could. The dessert buffet was very large and delicious! The cleanliness in the restaurant was good. What bothered us a bit is that it was so loud and that the fruit juices not included in the all-inclusive are included.

The staff is very friendly with children. Already on the 2. day knew the most as our baby, and had a lot of happiness. They speak english, italian and even a little bit german. Necessarily quad on safari, the group of a very nice types on german run. The rooms were cleaned daily. As we the first time in Egypt were, we had to ask the front desk how much you tip so normally,, the receptionist said 10 egyptian pounds. Because we have no change had, we always 50 pound for 5 days given. But they are also very happy Euro. All prices were always on Euro and if you have pounds wanted to pay, you had to convert. Child services we didn't use, since we with a few famous people there were, on our baby aufpassten while we the snorkelling or quad biking were. When we arrived, it had in the room a double bed and a single bed. Since our baby only 5 months old, it got immediately a crib (portacrib). There are various activities such as kite surfing, diving, snorkelling, quad safari, children's entertainment. We took the quad safari used. We had a special offer of 2 hours, so without grillieren with the bedouins for 30 Euro per person. It is very fun. We were in the desert, a stricken river and at the beach with the quads on the way. We also have a was positive feedback about visited. At the beach it has beach chairs, umbrellas and windbreaks, as it can be very windy, especially in the afternoon.

The Tulip Resort consists of the tulip 1 and tulip 2. the latter is new and thus more occupied than tulip 1st but we noticed, that tulip 2 not completely finished was built. The last two blocks next to the beach are not yet ready. The entire complex is very clean and well kept kept. We stayed with our 5 month old baby. Most of the paths are kinderwagentauglich only tulip 1 some ways not pave. There is a not heated and a heated pool, as well as a children's swimming pool with 40 centimeter depth and pleasant 30 °c water temperature. We had a room parterre and pool area, so we could our baby during the day in the room sleep and it again and again monitor. We had all inclusive and were satisfied with that. Only we were very surprised as we were told, that the water bottles were not included which with a baby not just practical. We had bottled water and the donor in the restaurant or at of the pool bar population. There is wlan cost, which we didn't use. The guests are mostly germans and italians, a few russians, british and swiss. Average age i would 35-40 years estimate.

The resort is located in the middle of nowhere in the desert right at the sea. There are a few sites to see, possibly a resort, not further built was. We are in Hurghada landed and had a transfer from 2,5 hours to the resort. The was very wearisome especially with a baby that is why i advise if possible to Marsa Alam to fly. From there, the resort is only a approximately 20 minutes away drive. The beach is beautifully, the reef however only by a long jetty distance. To swim in the sea you have to around 300 to 500 meters into the water walk. The seabed there is however somewhat mushy and with many holes covered in which fish is. In such a hole am i accidently to the knee entered into. The reef is great. Unfortunately we were only 2 time snorkelling, since we always care for our baby concerns had. Schoppingsmöglichkeiten there were only very little, but you could have different go on excursions. We only booked the quad safari to the beduins made, which very recommendable is!

Very spacious rooms, so that you 2 beds, and also always clean have been kept.

As already mentioned was the for dessert competent chef the best. The taste and creativity left no doubt. The meat was this none if sunday The liver was always hard and sinewy; the beef dry and tough.

The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The verbesserunsvorschläge were gladly taken (see above)

Every evening there was a beautifully schedule kids disco.

Big hotel with a spacious area. Beautiful large spacious rooms, the also kept clean. A very good confectioner, what the meat prospective cook not overcome could do (2 hours the liver gerbraten and still not soft). The stairs from the dining room to the front desk lacked the upper stairway steps lighting, the after complaint from the manager, mr h. on the next day already were.

Very good hotel kiten, snorkelling and relaxing.

The size of the room was very good. There was a flat screen tv, a work desk, a mini bar, a seating area, a double bed and enough big closets with a free safe. The cleanliness was ok ( details see service). On the balcony was still a seating area. The room was bright and friendly. It is for certain a question of habit but i found it a bit uncomfortable a double bed with a continuous springy and a ceiling (200 centimeter/200 centimeter) for two people to have. I was constantly awake when my friend moved. Was good but, that we the room could have changed, but we did not want, because we had a complimentary upgrade to pool view had not lose. The bathroom was clean and big. A walk-in shower with glass wall and a nice, large vanity. Toilet and everything else also alright. Hair-dryer, there was also. Was pleasant the rainfall shower. You can but also on normal shower head switch. Air conditioning was there and worked fast and reliable.

There are currently in the hotel only a restaurant, which from the old and the new part is used. Additionally you could take part in the beach bar snacks such as pizza and chips to order. About cleanliness and lack of places is still not complain. It is a colorful mixture from egyptian and european adapted food offered. There was always pizza, pasta, chips as an alternative and temporarily then theme evenings with for example french and british dishes. Always there was a bread, salad, warm, and cake buffet. In spite of the varied food in the taste drawbacks. It is certainly a matter of taste, but us were the dishes easy to fahd and not enough seasoning. Everything was very similar and partly also not more so hot. From the showkoch there was always quite good meat dishes to eat. Outside every evening there was a grill with a or other highlights. A week and i was still on good traditional german cuisine ☺. At least we had little to no stomach intestine complaints from the hotel food, but we also covers uncooked limited. Two or three things you can recommend: the pizza at the beach bar, the huge-bread with peppers during dinner and the fresh croissants for breakfast. The beverages were quite varied and alright. Cola, Fanta, Sprite, fruity soft drinks, beer and some cocktails. Unfortunately the mixtures't really drink. The egyptian liquor tasted just not ☺... The mixtures were also from and very strong,

The staff was always friendly and helpful. The waiters in the restaurant and of the pool bar were very accommodating and service-oriented. There was always a nice smile and requests were promptly fulfilled. There was no pushy. If you german and english speaks with the communication in the hotel no problems. Every from the staff speaks at least english. Some of the waiters even 3a 4 languages. Housekeeping was okay whereas was: more tip more service. But also without tip was cleaned properly. What we as negative felt was the noise the morning (from 7:00 a. m.) from the cleaning staff was. Clatter of flat, loud conversations and a loud motorcycle with trailer. You can arrange to but relaxation is for late risers like us not. At the beach and at the pool there were enough beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone, towels are at the beach and at the pool inclusive and cleaned daily. The we found very good. It is at the beach also help with the push of the chairs and windfänger. Cleanliness at the pool and the beach were very good.

The pools are really good. In the new part there were two large pools (125 centimeter deep) and a children's swimming pool (40 centimeter deep). One of the big pools is heated (27 °c) and (18 °c). In the heated pool you can nice of the pool bar sit and have a drink while sipping. Sportily you could also a lot of experience. There was only animation in the old property where there were two pools. The was very pleasant. A quiet and a lively hotel. Offered in addition to fitness centre and Volleyball also a surfing school. There one could kitesurfing amongst others learn. Very recommendable is the nearby riff which one over the 800 meters long jetty can. It is a really very nice reef and super suitable for snorkeling. A supervision is always on, that nothing happened, and you didn't abtreibt. The beach was flat. That means you can up 700 meters in the sea inside and the water is only up to a maximum of the hip. To swim goes then from the jetty at the reef was very good. We are of the opinion, that this beach (even if we had none) it very well for children would be a suitable. There is also at the beach nor the possibility the camel and horseback riding.

Tulip hotel is a good hotel, yet with small downsides. For a beach vacation it is nevertheless very convenient. There is an old and a new hotel area. I reviews here about the new detailed.

The hotel is directly at the beach. The transfer time from the Marsa Alam Airport took about 15 minutes and it very pleasant. Also the airport is very easy going and small. It was clean and well arranged. The hotel is, although at the beach alone in the middle of the desert. All around there are no leisure-time facilities, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. It is therefore very quiet. We loved, that the region touristy not so extremely is less developed so, that not hotel next to hotel.

We stayed in the new part, and the rooms are already sufficiently described %blank%. There is a small safe and refrigerator, as well as the air conditioning great work. Toilet and bathroom were always thoroughly cleaned. I have but also not looking for that, because who searched finds. A hair dryer and a make-up mirror for the ladies are also available. The tv needs, will surely disappointed is. RTL RTL II and the 2. there was german-speaking channels. The news enough. What i personally disturbed us is:no bright ceiling light, only this usual schummerlicht. If you for whatever reason, an additional outlet by the bed or anywhere else, the should an extension or 3. outlet from at home carry forward. In the hotel you can get just the adapter to the front desk. The electricity supply is turned on with the room card, and you could sooner this maintained by any other card, the is not more.

In tulip 1 (a) and tulip 2 (b) there is in each case in the front desk a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant in a while we were there not open, because i think that for 2 restaurants too few guests were there. To the quality and the taste of the food i can only say, that i here better and richer food was as in the other 5 stars hotels in which i was so far. There were always theme nights and there were always delicious things (quail, turkey, fish filets beef chicken and so on.) I can not all list, because i otherwise hunger get. I really tried everything, and if nothing for me was, which rarely happened there was still the nudelkoch and pizzakoch you a pizza together as you have wanted. If then still which went, then on to the delicious desserts. The here so often described as i find exaggerated, because it is also a large room with lots of people is, and no buffet of 25 square meter. The restaurant was always clean and everything was done for us to satisfy the guests. All cooks had disposable gloves on, the times in the evening changed. (not, but new) if a stain on the ceiling or napkin overlooked, says one thing and it is changed immediately, or leave it and writes so which is not a negative in the evaluation. Drinks you had to get yourself, and we had to our time no lack of cups. Of course thinks with his all-inclusive benefits the waiter booked, has been mistaken. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. Of course, there is always a, i didn't as nice steep, but that is now once a matter of opinion. With german is it reasonably, and my english is also another as there. :-) Each of us spoken egyptian word all. We should actually their language learning, and not our. We are staying with them, even if we pay. The cleaning of the rooms was always okay. For us it was always only in the afternoon, but surely only it depended on where one had one's room. But didn't bother us, because we were in the sun. Doctor is 24 hours locally, and very quickly as if he's needed. Child services was in my opinion well, if the children but do not want it is not the fault of the carers. You have always tried hard. To the handling of complaints i can't say, because i had none. In tulip 1, and tulip 2 there is 2 pools what a heated should be. The pools both have a pool bar and the pool bar in tulip 1 is also until 23 hours open, while the pool bar in tulip 2 currently 17 hours 30 closes, because then the pool no longer could be used. Makes but nevertheless fun. The loungers and umbrellas in tulip 1 are well maintained and okay. The utilization of the chairs there is perhaps 10%. Probably is because of the heated pool. The loungers by the pool tulip 2 are modern and light (alu.) And the load there is perhaps 30%. Here is the pool nice and warm. At the beach it is everything really clean, it is raked and done the guest wishes. If the wind be moved is immediately a helping hand as. The loungers there are also only to 30% occupied. At the beach and at the pools are showers available. At the pools toilets between the houses. On the first glance hard to find, but a glance at the hotelinfokarte enough. Now the long jetty. I am doing no meters indication, but can only say that i from the room number 25 up to the platform comfortable (is on holiday) 20 minutes ran. The way to get there is worthwhile also 3 times a day. As already so often written is the hotel lonely next to a disused construction site for a new hotel (left about 800 meters) and to the right after about 2 kilometer another hotel area. There is a daily shuttle bus transport to port ghalib, where you can shop. Much cheaper than in the hotel. Exit 20 hours back 22 hours. Approximately one tour 10-15 minutes and 7 €per person there and back. It can also be used for every tour a taxi to be ordered, and everyone is for the price from. Our room had pool/sea view and a big balcony. It was very spacious (circa 35 square meter) and tastefully decorated, plenty of wardrobe space, safe free of charge, mini bar was not. Flat screen tv (ZDF, RTL and RTL II) is available. The bathroom also large, modern style, of course you must try the processing on definitely not german standards, for Egypt but everything was perfect. In both tulip-main buildings there are a restaurant, at the moment the tulip 1 but closed due to renovations, so the tulip 2 always was quite busy. The atmosphere directly in the restaurant but more like a cafeteria or cafeteria, noisy, glass/stone/tiles absorb naturally also no noise... The ugly resopalplattentische were merciful with white cloths set, breakfast and lunch were only colorful placemat mood... The selection at the meals (also for breakfast) was huge, i had not always desire, in all pots reinzuschauen... But 'mainstream' seasoned, for us rather bland, but you could additionally from a variety (also oriental) spices serve. As we were all-inclusive (until 23 hours) had booked, i can to the price structure a drink nothing say. Next to water and the soft drinks there were also local beer and wine (from 5 liter papptank ), the red wine was quite enjoyable.

Absolutely exemplary the service - friendly, always helpful, not only they also speak german at the reception, in the area of customer service one sees a young woman called Antje the whole day everywhere around and with the guests speak! For medical care is also provided (luckily we didn't take advantage of)

A great, totally intact reef one reaches over the about 800 meters long footbridge. Especially at high tide you can already in the offshore lagoon fish see, while snorkeling then also additionaly the whole diversity of corals in all wuchsformen and colors admire, you feel like aquarium-there was in Hurghada unfortunately not more. A lifeguard fits the platform on, that nobody aborted-now in the winter there are strong winds and currents-and you can completely carefree the underwater world enjoy. There is also a scuba diving center, as well as kite surfers-training and loan. The kite surfers behaved during our stay very disciplined, nobody drove to the reef a... At the beach there were plenty of beach chairs with umbrellas and windschutzzäunen, shower/toilet. A beach restaurant with drinks and snacks ensures that the physical well-being ; the entertainment there mostly close to pool 1 instead, there is always something going on from aerobics to Zumba, Boccia, Volleyball, darts etc. , further you toward north is, the quieter it is. Pushy here! If you like quad drives : at the beach there is a rental place. Also fitness room (free of charge), a sauna and hammam, jacuzzi, massage is it. And if you not enough reading it: the handtuchboy lends books, the the guests him have released...

The tulip is a nice and well-maintained hotel; around 2 pool areas grouped 2a 3 storey blocks, in the southern part of the older tulip 1, in northern the newer tulip 2-appearances one sees no differences. The building 2 july is on closer inspection only from the outside ready-the finishes still completely lacking. The gardens feature lush green english lawn, extremely well maintained, and beautiful palmenpflanzungen, in the 'old' tulip area already very presentable to palm-tree groove grown up. Flowerbeds are hardly. The hotel guests, mostly young families and older travelers, come mostly from Germany and Italy, less England, France, Austria, the Netherlands; russians were in the tulip not at all.

The tulip is only 15 kilometer away from airport (no aircraft noise), well, short transfer time, however, 'in the middle of nowhere'. Except the shops in the hotel and at the beach there is nothing, knew however before we and we also nothing missing. There is a daily around 20 hours driving shuttle to port ghalib (7 €), you can also various trips over the travel guide book. At the beach there is a bedouin tent, where one mocha drink and smoke shisha can, but especially also soccer have a look-many staff over arab television transmitted, with arabic comment, really funny! The football France-Germany we did see.

The superior room are very spacious. Also the bathroom. Air conditioning, tv, terrace and so on was all great.

There was a main restaurant, 2 lobby bars, a pool bar and a beach bar. The food was really good. Daily changing offer.

The staff are in the large and whole very friendly. At the front desk speaks and understands german very well. At the different bars it goes only on english. The cleaning of the rooms was perfect.

The superior room are really great. It is in the whole hotel and also in the outdoor area always very clean. The inclusive services are ok. However, no bottles of water inclusive. It is possible but at each bar water dispenser. The guests are very different : from young to old is everything and different nationalities amongst others italian, dutch and german.

Next to the hotel is only desert. To the next town with the bus takes about 10 minutes the bus drives however only in the evening 20 and 22 hours and for 7 €per person.

Facilities: hair dryer, safety deposit box, air conditioning, tv with 3 german channels and minibar, ok and standard. Cleanliness as already mentioned to significantly improve. Also without daily sponsorship should the employees the finish.

The food was good, adequate and diverse. For the behavior of the other german and italian guests in the meals, we had to us in the foreign be ashamed. It is loaded to the plate overflows, half of the food is not finished-but a new plates fully loaded, and so on. And so on. Some have as vandals gehaust and nicely decorated plates devastated. Example. Cake with 24 icing mood and strawberries. An of the guests has all strawberries runtergefummelt and the rest left... There booked all inclusive was, is not understandable, why it is not as common to the whole time non-alcoholic drinks.

Some of the staff are friendly and speak good english. Near the other meet both not to. The women in the arab world often not particularly considered/valued-which unfortunately most of the staff in the hotel to lived was. The cleaning of the rooms we can only described as very superficially rate.

The hotel consists of an old and newer lobby. Unfortunately the guests at the old hall unloaded. This leaves of the cleanliness much to be desired. On some goods you could even in the dust write! In the lower area of the hall stood unused and also dirty items around. The welcoming at the reception was only occupied by one person, so a line at check in came. The rooms have a normal size. But also the rooms in the newer area of the hotel already clearly worn. We had booked all-inclusive, further down more info. The guests mostly came from Germany and Italy. In the age between 20 and 70 years. Booking wifi is with 7 €or 10 Euro per day relatively expensive.

Because of the proximity to airport was the transfer easy and fast. To the hotel there are some smaller shops. The next possibility in port ghalib.
