For a short stay the hotel is excellent. The room is very nice. If you don't speak french, you quite bad maps, except at the front desk english is understood and spoken. The restaurant you can really save, the good reviews we can absolutely not nachvollziehehn. Here we have on our 2 wöchigem stay on reunion really on schlechtesteten eaten. The fish was ( fschfilet ) bone fried. The only thing which you in the restaurant take or reasonably can enjoy is the breakfast. The service is a total catastrophe in the restaurant, slow, unfriendly. Best you eat outside where ... it lots of possibilities and which also good and em value for money just. read more

Nice hotel in a great location.
Conveniently however quietly.
Ideal location for walks in cilaos.
Good restaurant.
Staff are very friendly even if you no French can.

The size of the room and of the bathroom was okay, but it smelled in the room pushy to drain and it was already the 2. room, since we first denied had. One had to say, we had the best category.
The coffee in the morning you could get out of a vending machine, the bedspreads were dirty from the predecessors and flew birds and naschten on the bread and buffet. The staff didn't bother us. We are after one night left, although we had two booked. read more

In this beautiful and well located hotel you just feel comfortable. Within walking distance is easily reached the center of cilaos where there are some restaurants and shops. We had a great two days, it can be recommended in any case. read more

The outside of the buildings looked very beautiful from. Everywhere it flowers and each room has a small balcony. The view from the balcony is great on the piton des neiges. Access to the room via a staircase with a dark lighting. The stairwell has also seen better days and should have been thoroughly cleaned or updating. A room safe is not available. The cleanliness of the room was OK, the chairs on the balcony unfortunately broken. On the first view from the breakfast buffet looked really rich, but it was only a closer look very well distributed. Unfortunately it ... was also only instant coffee
From the machine. We have booked half board, the food was OK, however some wines were on the first evening.
The staff was friendly, 19:00 until 9:00 P.M. rumhetzen to all guests to use and. The worked in the restaurant also very uncomfortable.
Overall we found the price/performance ratio not appropriate.
The location of the hotel is good, about ten minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants with the. Ideal as a starting point for the hike also. read more

Hotel Vieux CEP is a very nice hotel in cilaos. On our reunion tour was definitely one of the better accommodations. The hotel is a little out of the way, but in a few minutes you are in the center of town. The hotel has a beautiful pool with a wonderful view of the mountains. The rooms were large and clean, if also not particularly 'luxurious' -what you're going to a 2-star hotel but also can't wait. The breakfast was for German standards rather modest. My room with balcony had a marvelous view on the piton des neiges, but that was the best. Access to the rooms on several narrow, winding stairs, at night only one worked in the stairwell lighting, normal light is non-existent. The furniture had seen better days. With two people the hardly enough shelf space, the closet was small. In-room safe not available, rooms and bathroom a bit on the small side, the service was okay. The car park is behind the area, to the buildings at the pool there is only a slight back, in other words had a building ... outside the complex and then return with my room-annoying when you have to lug your bags.
The breakfast buffet looked at first glance from wide, but on closer inspection it was very good. I ate at the first night in the hotel restaurant, the price was absolutely okay but the food was a bit bland-did not eat then cheaper and better in other restaurants in cilaos.
The staff was friendly, but unfortunately, everything is a bit carelessly and other breath of fresh air and a few Reno vationen necessary. For €95, -/ night, a bit more.
The location of the hotel is good, about a ten minute walk to the main street with the stores and restaurants, relatively quiet at night-I was the loud pump light irritation of the pools. read more

Nice hotel on the outskirts of cilaos, with view on the center of the resort and the church. To Main street with restaurants and shops is only a maximum of five minutes. The room was very spacious and furnished in a slightly rustic way. It had a small balcony, mini bar and television. It was an open bathroom with separate toilet.
The breakfast buffet was rich and good. read more

Very nice, French hotel with great view of the mountains. Center of cilaos with various restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. Rooms were good and clean furnished. Very extensive breakfast buffet. Very good food in the hotel restaurant with internally and creole cuisine, reasonably priced as expensive as in the village about 15-25 euro for example, main courses. Good French wine list. Should have got, so will be happy to guests from other accommodations for dinner. Good Price/Performance Ratio. read more

We have the restaurant not used as it is close to the many other restaurants. The hotel has a jacuzzi is outside which actively used. Nice location. After the winding drive (Please be careful) nice little place to relax, food, hiking, shopping. Who has with cornering effort (is it as a driver or rider) should consider whether it really wants here. Our child has on each case the exit do not great (what is happening I must say probably not). read more

Nice romantic hotel in Tyrolean style with a magnificent view of the mountains. Large pool, and Jacuzzi. The restaurant was very good with many awards. Only the birds bothered a bit at breakfast. Good location in the 'centre' and the mountains. No safe, but well-functioning heating! read more
