Our trip took us in september 2012 for 4 days to tallinn. Reason for our trip was first of all the halbmarathonlauf in tallinn, furthermore we had but also the possibility the very nice old town to visit.
The hotel is located just 10 minutes away from the center. We had booked overnight accomodation and breakfast and were completely contented. Also the spa area on the top floor invites you to relax.
The hotel we would definitely again select. read more

The booked standard double room was a dark hole and looked directly at an opposite room virtually at our fingertips. Took the up grade offer and got for €15 p. n. A beautiful deluxe room in the 8 floor with sea/ the lake and close to the wellness area up there. If you only standard room has, the hotel is not so nice. Perhaps there are other standard room the better-we had on our trip the impression, that you always an bad room offered got and danndie uzp raight option. What we then also mostly assumptions.
Wellness area so a ... thing-quite small and too full-no consideration for swimmer, but the people jumped v. d. Side and children played water polo. The whole was not so hygienic - the guests from the nordländern seem not outside of the bathroom to shower respectively in the sauna without towel. Well.
Breakfast delicious and rich if you have a seat snatched - again a gruppenhotel with over 200 rooms and all the same when one morning was, always full. And the guests seem riesenmengen to eat Hardly was a bit refilled, it was already again empty. Really a 'experience' with the hotel guests there - too many probably groups from Poland and Russia.
Location super - opposite the old town and good public transport. Also gehentferning to the D terminal for ferries to Scandinavia. read more

Beautiful modern room, great bathroom with walk-in shower, in the room large flat screen -tv with German program very good beds, mini bar, free! Internet.
With a short walk one is in the historical city center with many bars, shops and restaurants. read more

A Mordendes hotel from the pole. Amerikanisiertes interior. Unfortunately carpets in the rooms ( although clean...). Good standard. Breakfast very britsch with tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, etc. Less in Fitbereich. Spa facilities okay. read more

Good hotel in the center of Tallinn. I had a double room for single use. So it was big room for one person. Comfortable. The view was to the main street, but it wasn't noisy. Just if you don't want to sleep with open curtains it is a lot of light from street promotions. Didn't like that it was not possible open the window. And if you totally turn off air condition still some noise from it, because it connected to hotel air condition. The shower haven't curtains, so after showering all bathroom is wet.
Good relaxing center what is ... included in the price. Has one Jacuzzi, swimming pool and 2 saunas. The swimming pool wasn't very clean, but still enjoy tine there.
Breakfast was big and good, but at 8 am it was a lot of people. Was difficult to find a place together for more than 2 people. The stuff was helpful and understand Russian. They suggest nice place where to eat cheap.
As it was special rate it wasn't possible to use BalticMiles card and earn points. read more

Good modern hotel with spa facilities on the attic storey ( view but not so great), sauna, small pool available and available. Location good, close to the pedestrian precinct but Tallinn is altogether rather visiblly and everything easy to reach. For a city break good. read more

Great hotel in the best location of the old town. Wide and good Frühstücksbüfettder Spa area with sauna, pool, steam bath in the eight floor glazed to 3 sides and views of the old town, from the check out is really great! Have fun and a very good price/performance ratio read more

The hotel is well maintained, clean and very well reachable. From the Airport: bus number two, fifth or sixth stop off, two euros per person, for a taxi to the airport we paid nine, 50 Euro. Travel time about 15 minutes each. The old town is located on one side (about five minutes walk to the city walls), the red rman quarter began right behind the hotel, behind is the ferry terminal. Across the street from the hotel is the Sokos-Viru-Hotel, a high-rise, on which one itself well to follow. Next to the Sokos-Viru-hotel is a shopping center with a ... supermarket. Our room was on the sixth floor, was large enough and very well equipped with safety deposit box, mini bar, flat screen tv, desk, closet (for a week enough large) and a very comfortable, cozy double bed. The Windows did not open, the air conditioning/fan was or be very silent. Although the hotel was located on a very busy road, we have no noise from the street. We had asked for a quiet room on arrival with shower (instead of a bath) and this. The shower was very large, soap and shampoo were replenished daily. The breakfast could choose between seven and ten o'clock be taken in the restaurant. But we had the experience, that for nine o'clock no more bread rolls were available and were not refilled. Apart from that, everything was very plentiful (salmon, herring, sausage, cucumbers, Tomatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, etc.), the coffee was good (very strong). The pool is located in the eight ten floor, in our room the pump was clearly heard (ran off and not at night). We felt very comfortable in this hotel and can recommend it unlimited. We ate in the old part of town. The gastronomy in Tallinn is surprisingly good. We can recommend: body Resto is AEd (Uus street 31), of krahl, Rataskaeou tenth in both restaurants had a very nice service, high-quality food at a surprisingly reasonable price. In the krahl iced cheese cake for dessert try, was big enough for two! The tomato cheese soup was excellent. A good pizza in the restaurant was Kuulik karma, Harju seventh delicious made cake we ate in cafe Mathilde (on the way to the domberg). The cappuccino was very good everywhere. On Mondays and Tuesdays most of the museums are closed. At the weekends, and probably was always a Finnish invasion. Tallinn we loved it and we will, next year again in the summer go back, maybe then crossing to Helsinki. read more

The Nordic Hotel Forum was for us a perfect hotel. The hotel is within walking distance, less than five minutes and you are in the wonderful city of Tallinn. We have used this area again and again, treat yourself to a break, us, just to relax. We would book the hotel again and recommend it to anyone, looking for a hotel in Tallinn.
The breakfast buffet every morning was also a experience such a great diversity of food and beverage choices, the guests were offered, I had not yet seen. A list of, what was offered, would result, would be ... out of this paragraph a novel. It was always refilled everything, as soon as something was gone. The staff was so attentive-it was for me every morning the breakfast treat.
The journey from the airport to the hotel we paid €with seven and once with 9.50 €. Why, I wonder, however. You have to say, first, that the taxi fares to the side or the the car itself and you have to be careful, if the indicated fares on the meter are adjusted. Rate is not the same rate. Some start with 2.88 €on, other with 4.20 €.
Have to warn you before taxes, their fares not visible from outside and no taxi company. The taxi driver, the US to the hotel, has described this, mainly black taxis as pirates taxis.
In the city, the beer are very different. You can pay directly on the town hall for 0.5 liters Saku-beer and 5.20 €75 metres behind the town hall square, right in front of the house the large Guild for the same beer in the restaurant 'spice' on the streets terrace 2.75 €. There you can also very good and reasonably priced.
Coffee and cake there were delicious and cheap to the domberg above (Toompea) Kiriku pôik in the 4a 'Olematu rütli'. This cafe is located at the end of a side street, is quiet and very suitable from the many running in Tallinn to relax.
Behind the church of St Nicholas, at the end of the street rütli, is almost inconspicuous entrance to the schnitzel house of. Menu in German, very good food, the beer, 0.5 liters Saku for 2.90 €, the schnitzel 7.90 €cost all, the cereals-Schnitzel convinced. As I said, almost plain from the outside, but a nice large vaulted cellar with many places, a bit remote from the large hypes. read more

the hotel lies ideally located at the edge of the old town. The breakfast provides a good basis for those start into the day, but were missing fruit & tropical fruits. The room was really great, with well-controlled air conditioning, LCD tv contemporary (German wave). The cleaness of the room was just about adequate. read more

In this well run, since 2007 finished hotel is accessible live. On the edge of the old town, close to shopping of every kind. infrastructure of bus or tram just a few steps away. To the airport by bus about 15 minutes driving time. The hotel is modern and tasteful. The breakfast in all respects excellent, no matter whether cold or warm favored. Free Internet access the hall, televisions with modern flat screen TV in the room, with a rich variety of programs, also international channels. I recommend that anyone who loves recommend the a little more comfort. read more
