It's Intercontinental standard hotel, but with small swimming pool closed for half a year, spa area closed at 20:00, no restaurants in the area, far from any entertainment, hotel is in office area, awful connection (shuttle bus provided by the hotel once an hour to Syntagma square, and tram behind the hotel) with the city center. 5 stars from delicious breakfast, but I'm sure you can find that in other hotels in Athens. read more

For a stay during a congress good. View from the roof terrace terrific, drinks as in recent years a bit expensive (16 euros/cocktail, ten euro Chardonais). Nice small pool, large rooms, very extensive breakfast buffet. If you want to see the Acropolis from the seventh floor to book a room. The surrounding area is really shabby and not to go on a stroll. One is however by taxi (six euro) in ten minutes at the Acropolis and from there in five minutes walk from the picturesque old town. read more

What is noticeable is, that the staff very, but also very rude. The room the we booked was a while with various flaws (stained sofa, lichtlampe in the bathroom broken, etc.)... It took 3 hours until we a new room got. We had an upgrade given, however reluctantly, since no other eco room was okay. Furthermore i had to make it clear, that i my business associates, as well as our undertake the hotel strictly from a stay there abtraten would. The breakfast overpriced, not worth the money. read more

The pluses of this hotels are certainly the rooftop bar inclusive a fantastic view of the Acropolis, as well as the wonderful breakfast buffet. Choice and quality the food leave almost nothing to desired. The room is spacious, only the bathroom for a 5 star hotel rather small limited. read more

We spent the final night of our 2 week holiday at the intercontinental quality for Greece. As we had booked a very good rate (80 € incl. breakfast), I would rate the hotel quite good, with a rack rate of more than 200 € night the rating not so good good luck. The reason for this is the location of the hotel, on the "road into the city" of Piraeus to Athens - and a free shuttle bus to the center. The second, more serious reason is that our room was very dated, this issue the carpeting, phones, the bathroom ... fixtures etc. However, to say that the room and to be updated. Maybe, the very reasonable rate in an old room. Other than that, the service was very good, the abundant and varied breakfast. read more

We have the Interconti visited for the start of a cruise. For this reason there were a lot of available for cruise ship passengers and the large almost 400 rooms house was full. The hotel is centrally located, but is surrounded by of two busy streets and hardly be reached on foot. Taxi from the airport took about 40 Euro to the center 8 euros. Front desk extremely friendly and as our offer booked room with breakfast breakfast but I was able to pay the concierge to a room upgrade and we had a about 50m large junior suite for ... about 120 euro. Rooms in the standard Fünfsternehauses, separate toilet was missing. Unfortunately too soft beds. The pool is nice with subsequent restaurant and new furnishings wellness and beauty area. The breakfast restaurant looks inviting, but was not used by us. Gourmet restaurant on the roof with a magnificent view of the Acropolis. Great selection of restaurants and bars in the district of Plaka around the Acropolis and night life. The metro runs to the airport! Taxi to the port of Piraeus about 25 Euro. read more

The Intercontinental hotel in general are advertising to offer a great standard applies to this hotel definitely. After the renovation in order context of the Olympic games ... Must now nothing to be desired. read more
