Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. The food evenings in the restaurant of the hotel was good, the service very friendly. However relatively early ( at 22:00 Hours) closed.
For breakfast there was a good choice and it was all sufficiently available. I would the hotel would always book again. Rothenburg, ob der Tauber is on foot is in about 15 minutes easy to reach. read more

Despite some points of criticism I would like to recommend this hotel to those, the romantic and charm the seventies and early love. The district is as casual Detwang total ensemble just beautiful and homey and its thousand-year-old Roman basilica on with its famous Tilmann thong Schneider altar a little gem. And the count for us and, of course, rothenburg O. D. T. close to its wonderful and culture environment. Especially at Christmas time, we travel since the beginning of the eighties there. Around us there was moderate. The innkeepers are rather surly, it flits hardly a smile on the ... face, let alone a unifying word. But perhaps it is the race there. The new renovation with the advanced the dining room is unfortunately no more color in the architecturally baroque structure a, shame, lots of flair is lost. The buffet was above average, the rolls were already times better. The refill took too long. In spite of everything We were looking forward already to next Christmas. read more

The hotel is a bit out of the center of rothenburg, very quiet. To come into the city one can run directly from the hotel up the hill, about 15 minutes duration. Otherwise, parking in the city a euro per hour or a maximum of five euro per day. The hotel was okay for two nights, but you shouldn't expect too much. At the breakfast there was a lot of choice, however, was the number of guests too slow. The food in the hotel is quite solid, therefore not suitable for every taste and oil table candles were lit on ... demand. In sum, the hotel seemed in families had us heartless ☹ The room was clean and the staff was always friendly, however the water pressure in the shower was unfortunately not in the second floor managed. read more

We stayed at this very cosy inn the nights during the Taubertal valley-festivals. Top-location! Only a five-minute walk to Hauptbühne! Parking spots were in town in the courtyard of the black sheep and free sufficiently available.
Our room was a little 'old-style' moderately furnished (70 Ger years furniture, mini-Mini mini-tube tv) and the bathroom (with shower) was a bit small, but everything was super clean and well-kept. On request there is also a wireless Internet access.
The house itself is a lovingly-furnished ancient inn, the umpteenth generation in the owner's family holdings. Historical standing furniture, carpets are old and images ... of bygone time.
The breakfast buffet was not too shabby either: large selection of rolls, different jams, fresh fruit, sausage, cheese, juice, coffee.
The food in the adjoining economy is a little expensive, but very, very delicious! Next to the main courses there is also a large snack menu and a relatively large beer selection.
In short: we liked it very much! The room is already reserved for next year ☺ read more

We used this hotel as an overnight stay on our way in between the South. The Gasthoft is located in a quiet area not far from the center of rothenburg O. d. deaf (about 20 minutes walk) away. The room was large and clean, the staff polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and plentiful. read more

Immaculate, clean and uncomplicated this hotel. Also for bikers, as, for example, the guests, the motorcycle at night in the garage to accommodate. In Vain. Slept there then also better.
The hotel is located at the bottom of rothenburg OB der Tauber with (about 15 minutes) while in the city. This has the advantage, that the hustle and bustle of the city and you blebt nächtigt in peace. Is attached to the restaurant, the food is good. For a city journey to Rothenburgt often we like to stay there again back. read more

A hotel-gasthof with rural flair and Heart archived

For a hotel-gasthof absolutely sufficient. Unfortunately the front desk was a bit silent and abrupt but the service in the dining room was much better. The food was simply only super delicious, the portions quite ample and but still absolutely affordable price. The entire property is conveniently rural-Franconian Charme. Parking on the hotel premises were available free of charge. The room, for the unbeatable price, more than okay, but the bathroom is for tall people certainly a challenge and V. The decor of the room was pretty Spartan and obsolete technology. In particular, the very small CRT tv, no correctly ... focused programmes which are very annoying. There could have been a few improvements to play. The only drawback, unless you call, you could be a bit cool staff at the reception to highlight the uncomplicated and efficient in the management but that was the only place in the entire house the warm and friendly atmosphere (almost family) were missing. Everything was at check-in and check-out was highly professional, quick and accurate. We were with a group of eight people and it was good. So good, that we would stay there again if we want to be in this region coming back. read more

I spent a night at this hotel and had bad luck with my room. It was very noisy. On the other hand, the decor has the Charme of the seventies, felt strongly in need of renovation. The area consisted of two through the hallway and separate mini cubbyhole. In the toilet, in the sink and shower. In this' room ' and I could do, although I am still a slim, hardly move. Around the hotel, there was bitterly cold in the rooms (other guests had the same problem). Although the radiator was on full blast, it was warm in the ... room. You had to slip to the bed and still froze. The building is only a few centuries old, should you need something in isolation do!
In the winter I would not go back to this hotel.
Good was the service and the cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was adequate. read more

The hotel is in the description on the internet as it is a family hotel. And this feeling is also over. You can tell the owners who go out of their way and it is not that so-called "barracks". There is a real feel-good atmosphere. Our room was on the 1 Floor. It was clean and fresh aired. The size it was our expectations, only the bathroom was very small. However, it was well maintained and everything you could need (for example hair dryer, large mirror). On our floor there is a kind anteroom, the with sofa, chairs, and reading ... material was ( books and magazines). Breakfast did not excessive selection, as some from bigger hotels know, but who needs 10 sorts of jam to choose from. There was a bit of everything. It is great to get you started and it also. The only shortcoming which at this hotel. For vegetarians is the menu ( except from breakfast) not suitable as there is not a vegetarian dish. Even after asking could no longer because everything ready for me. Otherwise, I found this hotel and I would go there again. read more

The hotel is a idelaler space for our group. Nice innkeepers, always friendly staff, super nice and clean rooms, value for lodging and dining in the excellent run kitchen. Would stay here again. Highly recommended. And the 15 minute walk to the actual old town wasn't that bad either. read more
