Interesting building with opulent decor and truly huge room and bathroom. Ideal connections to the congress centre. Style very traditionally. In 10 minutes you are comfortable and at the Elbe along on foot in the middle of the old town. Room absolutely to Elbe, beautiful view. Unfortunately no flat screen tv. For a small fee we got a room in one of the upper floors with view of Elbe;

I the hotel can because of different points of criticism not recommend!
The binding to the city was great. The paths in the city easy to reach. We had 3 room and were 2:00 p. m. in the hotel. First of all, not at all 3 room reserved as a (probably lost is) i was with you addressed what not heard! In the hostel in the 4 stars hotel no!
The rooms old, the furnishings old and run down! Clear! Room number 933.
Beds just pushed together so no double bed!
Bed sheets dirty in the shower defective wasserbrause! ...
A 4-star comfort looks differently.

The hotel is huge. There were mostly business travelers, but also couples, few families. The hotel was fully booked (opening christmas market).
The waiting time at the 2 elevators were especially breakfast time very long. read more

Ideal city hotel with unique architecture. All sights of the center from Dresden are within walking distance easy to reach. Pleasant atmosphere in the house. Size of the room well, in the bathroom toilet and bidet separately. The tv in the room but it is not the current standard.
Travel agency in the house, good for own activities in that place. Tram stop approximately 5 minutes out ( line 11 for example to the main station). tickettservice ( for example green vault, semperoper).

The hotel captivates due to its good location ( about 5 minutes easy on kennel). The lobby is really amazing, the former speicherambiente was perfectly comfortable.
Only two points for us were not so good.
On the one hand, we were at check in for parking on the underground car park out, which according to the signs to the hotel and the adjoining convention center heared. We should when checking out the paid ticket and bring these would all nights will be charged. Unfortunately was also on demand for the return trip the ticket not from the hotel settled, with ... the reason, it is a public underground parking would be. We stayed there a day ticket 14 €paid. If you are staying longer remains standing, because when you the location no car needed, can be expensive. And the at a four star hotel!
Furthermore we noticed, that this hotel also foreign people on business trip case could desire is. But unfortunately was the entire breakfast buffet exclusively on German out-described. What our Italian table neighbors also a bit of fun. Good for the hotel, that probably still with humor taken but for a four-star hotel not not really representative.

Great hotel directly on the banks of the Elbe, convention center and just 5 minutes walk of the historic part of town away. Even the sightseeing bus stops directly in front of the door. Breakfast is not very cheap, however is the selection and fresh great! read more

Good hotel, central location to all sights, old town on foot quick reachable.
The buffets were very pleasant presented, the selection was large and good.
Would have liked to evenings in the hotel bar anyway, but there was smoke. Therefore not comfortable and the air was bad. read more

The hotel is right by the Elbe, next to the parliament. A huge congress centre belongs to the plant. Guest parking is very comfortable directly below the hotel possible.

The hotel is already a bit older but in very good condition. I liked the room with a large wardrobe and beautiful bathroom really liked it. The air conditioning could be a bit more, otherwise I hotel and room nothing to complain about. The breakfast was fantastic and on the terrace can wonderful sit.
Also liked a lot with the indoor pool, which I almost every day use it. read more

The hotel in the historical memory has a perfect location.
The connection to the airport with the S-Bahn is very comfortable and above all fast.

We felt very comfortable in the Maritim hotel Dresden, although we during this time clearly to the recent guests. The hotel is huge and was due to a year-end a tour operator fully booked. There were problems with the breakfast, since all places were occupied by very elderly participants and other guests therefore travel problems, to have breakfast. Similar to the elevator. Actually, one always had to wait, no matter where you were. But that was due to the utilization and the clientele and not directly at the hotel. Rooms were great and as already written, it is a very ... impressive lobby. Piano bar was as maritime used was great. Only the housekeeping. Staff we had to say, that we only ten minutes in the room want to be and would like, if they work a few minutes later to continue. I became two times very early (07:30) at the time and showers' disturbed ' or surprised. Unpleasant. But perhaps it was also on the older guests, which at about the same time the breakfast buffet stormed ☺ top hotel (especially the location)-we had only a few bad luck with the clientele. read more
