The welcome to the Avila-hotel experienced, but partly very bored. This statement can almost for the complete hotel staff apply.
The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a room in the blue-wing. Here one should on the fact absolutely 8., a room on the 2. floor (1. floor), with a 200-point to receive. There the building fully was built from wood, you hear on the ground floor every step of the guest over a and the sand this still shoes has trickles a on the balcony in the tea or coffee.
Breakfast is mostly the european taste and enough ..., but no variation. The restaurants are good. Especially nice the blues, as you here in cozier atmosphere right next to the sea sits.
From other guests, the when we return again met, we were told, that when booking half board it again and again errors in the accounts of the restaurant.
Highly recommended are the only a few metres away on the other side of the street the nearby restaurants.
The Avila-hotel possesses two private beaches, but these are quite small. Hardly shade places, which led, that the loungers almost all already before 7:00 o'clock reserved with towels are.

After a 10-hour flight in closest sit ( Air Berlin),1 hour wait for the transfer to the hotel( the tour) could the vacation finally start. Of the hotel check in was easy and we were quickly on our rooms. The room was in Octagonneubau, a beautiful large (76 meters²) deluxe rooms with view to the inner courtyard and Caribbean sea. The room was brilliant furnished, large beds, tv( no German channels), bathroom with a shower and bathtub, big washbasin, unfortunately no bidet. Daily new Spotless, hand towels and beach towels in really good quality. The air conditioning performed their ... work silent and provided for pleasant temperatures of the rooms. The cleaning the room was all right, less good the cleaning in the flurbereichen and in the elevator. To 5 days ran water from our ceiling, we got immediately a new room, as a bonus for the inconvenience we could on the day of departure the room until 18:00 o'clock use, costs otherwise 50 $$. We have daily in the hotel breakfast (20 $$ per person ), the offer is good, fruit, muesli, good bread and rolls, pastry, different egg dishes, fried. Bacon, Sausages, cheese and sausage. One sits covered in the open and look on the wonderful blue lake. You can also in the coffee Avila breakfast, the costs are around 10 $$. There are two beach bars, the small food and drinks offer, the food we didn't try it, the beverages at the Schonerbar are not cheap, 1 beer 0.25 liter costs 5 $$, 1 mochito 12 $$, Friday is from 17:00 until 19:00 o'clock half price. Our coffee in the room prepared, coffee- and teabag were every day refilled, a Caffeemaschine is available. The beverages you can in a small supermarket, 150 meters away from the hotel, cheap to buy. The restaurants in the hotel we didn't really convinced. We have the blues wing 3 times to eat and in the Avila once to the bar-B-queue. The Blues wing, 2 nights live music Jazz/blues played, you should reserve. Better for dinner are 4 restaurants, about 5 minutes. On foot away from the hotel, all 4 offer a very good kitchen, good wines and service. For a dinner you should 70-100 $$ plan, Curacao is not a billigurlaubsland such. The shopping in Punta can be reached within walking distance about minutes, well there hotel bus, the 2 times daily. In the evening are security on the road to the city, I think however with the taxi one is safe. The hotel has two beautiful protected Bays to swim. Snorkeling outside of the bays worth it, as you can up to 3 meters large corals, sponges, triggerfish, lion fishs, Degenfische, Barracuda and so on see. In summary one could say, the Avila is a beautiful Badehotel, good to relax, swim, snorkeling, good restaurants nearby. The shopping in the wonderful refurbished and D renovated district Punda, with the people swimming in the water bridge, is also recommendable. I wouldn't recommend the Jan Thiel Bay, crowds of bathers, you lay like a herring in the rifle and for 19 $$, as well as the Likörfabrik the Curacaolikör hergstellt is. We had a room the Blues wings, this was directly on the sea and cleaned thoroughly every day and all Bath towels exchanged. Bathrobes were available and coffee there was also every day newly, thus can every day a fresh coffee in the equipped kitchenette in the room itself be prepared. The air conditioning worked very good and without a sound.
Breakfast is great, a massive selection and friendly service. The vacationerthe vacationer is the focal point. Merely the restaurant we can't recommend. The food was moderate this absolutely overexpensive price. The island is altogether not cheap, however the price ... in any proportion to the quality.
Apart from that the hotel has a wonderful and clean beach and the staff are always concerned the stay enjoyable. Exceptions there is obviously also here, but they were in the hotel rather rare.
Altogether we have felt really good and can recommend the hotel. read more

The Avila is a top -hotel, which we in any case absolutely recommend could. The rooms are more than enough large, very well equipped and always clean.

In Curacao is everything else. Then we were from the prices on Curacao shocked, not only the trip already very expensive was for eating and drinking you have deep in the wallet. We were in the hotel not food, not, because we could not afford, because it was not worth it. The Italians in the Pentstr. Was a cheek, we are hungry go out, but were broke. There was a small restaurant ' Rozendaels ' in Avila out directly to the left of the wonderful red villa, great value for money we were almost every day the food, as well as many other guests from the hotel.

Our 1-wöchiger stay at the Avila hotel was amazing and way too short:-). My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time. This house is for a' relaxing vacation' really recommendable.
