Rather simple family-friendly hotel. Very tidy and clean with good service and very friendly staff. Had booked half board. Breakfast as a buffet, simply, but sufficient. Dinner two menus to choose, with soup and salad and dessert. Was very satisfied. Distance to the beach approximately 350 meters. The beach is for Kreta very nice. Almost only sand, a few rock. Very much gastronomy directly at the beach. Loungers free. Altogether a very nice beach vacation. read more

The hotel bestseht from 3 buildings. An old, the directly at a busy street and demdentsprechend noisy. The 2 newer building are at the back with a view of the pool with the same noise. Superficial the hotel was clean, just look at we weren't allowed. The guests were international and all age groups were represented. read more

    The rooms were spartan. In the old building were the rooms small and dark. After staying in one of the new building moved am I had a larger room, the furnishing was the same. The baths can one rather than wet room designate. It was cleaned daily but only superficially.

    The breakfast was the height of impudence. Everyday the same offer. Bread, probably remained remaining and had. Always the same sausage and käseersatz, sheep cheese, margarine, yoghurt, cereals and honey. The jams sah color from, as if they from a chemiewert, the' fresh fruit' so long served as just possible. Alternately there was still gherkins and olives and tomatoes. The whole was in plastic containers at the buffet' provided, where after the lid back on and in the fridge has been made. The Cappuccino from the machines was enjoyable. There was only one type of teabag ( black), next to it there was a open zuckertüte with a spoon in it. Everything very dearless. The dinner was served, there were 2 dishes to choose from their quality as bad can be described. Culinary highlight was tk -pizza with fries and ketchup.

    To the pool and the pool were clean. Chairs and sunscreens were available. Of the chairs were however 2/3 broken and unusable.

    To the beach it was 5 minutes on foot. The way there was lined with dirt undabfall, the thoughtless thrown away is. Before one at the beach came, to E one only on a sewage past, the also with trash was decorated. In Amoudara itself is the worst resort, which I was. The place exactly dirty as the beach. Unfinished buildings, the decline price and where no building is, is deserted. There were some shops in Amoudara however the offer was rather poor. The pub were as good as not at all visited. Thank god there were in front of the hotel a bus stop from where the bus to Heraklion rebuff.

Almost only sand, a few rocks.The bus stop is right outside of the hotel and there is a bus every 15 minutes.There is a very nice and clean swimming pool.The hotel has a parking area, free of charge. A friendly clean and nice hotel perfect for a long stay with the family. Stayed for three weeks and it was lovely. Not the most beatiful beach in Greece but very good service and not crowded woth tourists. read more

all together it was a great vacation. Only, the breakfast was to be leftover. Every day food and beverage no choice selection. The shower was not clean, so that we only bathing shoes shower. The room condition of the hotel was okay. I would go there nevertheless not more for the money. One would have oneself in the room a better breakfast able to conjure up. read more

Wonderfull people make you feel at home. Exquisite food and wine. I still remember the wine served there.. Erofili.. Iam looking for it EVERYWHERE and there is nowhere to get. The only place I can find it is in Crete. Still remember the taste though... read more

The hotel is located near the airport, approximately 15 minutes drive. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was all good. For one night before you heimfliegt it was completely ok. It would have been useful with a small car - although as the parking lot was very narrow. read more

Stayed here for 1 night ( on Lake Como after the flight and to the next hotel). We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and the front desk very pleasant. The lady at the reception spoke German. The hotel consists of three buildings. We were in the building, which was not located directly on the main street - with a view to the pool. Of course we can only echo the impression of a day. Shopping and restaurants nearby. We had only booked breakfast. Since we didn't expect much, we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was adequate and good. In ... terms of location we must say that we do not really would spend 14 days. But for an overnight stay in the arrival in Crete, for our flight connection is ideal. Bus stop to Heraklion right in front of the hotel. The price for one night was absolutely in order. ( Bargain). Parking at the hotel. read more

The staff was mostly unfriendly. With a maximum only choose from two meals on a half board basis. From the breakfast we won't even, there wasn't even coffee in the morning. The rooms were only superficially cleaned and the handtowels, are only changed once a week. read more

Nice, small and good hotel, but on the declined breakfast you prefer/hardly alternation, would rather stay at the taverns there could do shopping in breakfast. For half or full board you can between menu ( rather buffet) or "a la carte". We chose "a la carte and the Differnzbetrag paid", this was definitely the better decision. read more

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel the first time with the family, now with a friend, the week the soul and the Greek food and soak up the sun. And we were very pleased. The rooms are cleaned daily except Sunday/cleaned. The food is very good, there is a bus stop right outside. Heraklion is not far away, if you want to enjoy the nightlife, won't disappointed. The pool is also clean, the beach also (sand-gravel beach) and do not pay a fortune for beach chairs and umbrellas - but only a drink. The staff ... was very friendly - all in all a great short break for little money. The hotel was absolutely to be recommended. read more

We actually arrived at the Castro with some trepidation but we really needn't have worried - the whole experience was super. The staff and I mean ALL the staff were so friendly and helpfu- nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was immaculate and dining at Maxims was wonderful. WE enjoyed the 2 weeks so much I have just booked to return again next year! read more
