Hotel The Plaza^{(5.5 stars)}

We had a rosesuite on the 15th floor. The view was poor-in a lateral road on a high-rise office block-but the room was big, bright and quiet. There was a walk-in closet, mini bar, safe, iron and microwave. Especially the bed was wonderful. Clean was it also, however was missing the turn down service. The bathroom had bath tub and a large shower. In the living room and bedroom there was a large flat screen tv, however without German program.

For me between and stars. There is the palmcourt and the food hall. Only the palmcourt. We had for sunday for lunch a table. From a lady as usual were in new York to a table. Free tischwahl there is nowhere, this has probably what with the distribution of the guests at the waiters to do, so that also everyone tip receives. I think this system more than questionable but one must probably live thereby, that no one can sit, where you want \u263a! The waiter was quick and quite friendly. Water in masses served and is kostelnlos. My appetizer was forgotten and my salmon raw inside. The taste was quite good, however tainted not cooked through fish and the forgotten appetizer my meal. My husband had there more luck, it was everything and was also good. The fun cost 100 Dollar without tip, with only water and a beer. Is probably normal. The breakfast however was a bit, the me annoying made. It costs at least per person 38 Dollar and is a joke. From the poor service, the snooty face once each at full pelt the water tumbler to edge vollfüllt, whether you want to or not, to the lukewarm coffee with rate. Disgusting! There was really two types of sausage!. The tiny cheese platter was with gebäckzange equipped, totally smeared was, exactly like the whole plate. Appetizing is different. There was a little fruit, a pan fully dry scrambled egg, blubber and a little pastry. Just below ground. I got a glass of orange juice, my husband not at all only asked. The Plaza, I thought, service, service, service. NA ja, not really. Perhaps only, if one goes constantly with money beckons. The world-famous Plaza to a private investor sold, the completely to private apartments firm wanted. After protests of new york were these plans dropped and instead only a part -however with the most beautiful view ( central park) privately. Only a small part is as a hotel preserved. The Plaza located right next to the central park, however one has no hotel room take a look. The state of the hotel than good and very clean to describe. However I felt the atmosphere in the public areas right cold, uncomfortable and carelessly. About the guest structure I cannot say anything, because who guest or one of the constantly present, and annoying, fotografierenden visitors is, to a not really. Booked as usual in new York without breakfast, more about that later.

Best location, 5. the avenue, central park south. Better it hardly goes. Rockefeller center, Times Square, everything easy to reach on foot. Flat rate to jfk, depending on traffic between and minutes.
