The hotel was in general good, apart from the gastronomy. Medium-sized, not more very new hotel. The guests came from Germany and are/were - as we-beyond the 60 - a few very nice families with small children were also present. We had sometimes the impression, a senior residence to find. These german retirees argue often/daily because of of the chairs – if a couch occupied, then he wants this certain during his whole stay. It was funny, these pensioners already at 06:00 o'clock early in stockdunkler night with reserving the chairs to watch-according to the bulletin of the management ... from 08:00 a. m. allowed-unfortunately, the hotel management this social evil nothing-probably fear, these last Remaining guests/pensioners still to lose. The sausage in the bread at the pool bar were simply not down to get. The food in the restaurant was everyday the same – there was a lot of cooked fish in a tasteless juice/sauce. This is for those good, which on vacation a few kilos lose-with such a bad food is the no wonder. The meat, no matter wether from pork or beef, was always too hard, as it too long was roasted. Sometimes there were the grilled fish black browned. A shame! The pasta were very soft-one says batzig, they were more for older people with difficulties in the jaw. In addition swam this pasta always in a ölsauce to lukewarm to hold. The food was unfortunately usually only lukewarm or cold, if this buffet confessed. There were no hot plates to warming the meals-neither at lunch and dinner buffet-was offered. Hotel altamarena offers since it was close to the beach, but apart from that it is unfortunately in all. Directly at the shopping/main street of Jandia location. In 2. number from the beach - the sea is in approximately 200 meters to reach. Great location – the only super plus about this hotel, -, and the retirees-price of course.
