Booked this hotel on recommendation. The hotel has a very good location, short way to the fine sandy beach. The food was always sufficient and good, it was constantly refilled. The service staff in the restaurant was friendly and cleared used cutlery quickly. The grounds of the hotel was clean and good. The rooms were clean and were also cleaned excellently. We are certainly not the last time there. read hotel review

Much better, than expected. Had concerns initially, because of the negantiven reviews, especially because of the kritisierung of the universe in offer. But it was everything was super! Very nice, helpful staff with very good german. Everything was super clean, the food was also great - safe repeated some, but it is a buffet, you can always choose something else - otherwise your own fault! Beach is beautiful and after a few steps away, the pool and the garden area is also very nicely angelgelt. Airport shuttle is also still okay, a little over an hour. So a really great ... holiday, one can only further recommend the hotel! read hotel review

We were from 22-02-14 until 01-03-14 in this hotel. I would recommend this negative which some miles not understand. Of course there was always something, if you wanted to find but i'm on holiday from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to get away and not to drive and after errors to check availability. It was a great hotel great staff and i would go back again. Because the proximity to the beach and the beach itself is just perfect and the hotel was really good. Greetings. read hotel review

Location of the hotel very good, staff very friendly. A very noisy hotel (rubber seal lack of the doors) if the doors are closed falls one from the bed. It is no 4 star hotel. All inclusive is not. At the puhlbar you get the drinks from the machines. Only affordable drinks you are served. (espresso you will have to pay. They beds are from the last century. I am in Fuerteventura but not more in this hotel. For the there are better hotels. read hotel review

When we arrived we were greeted (two families) asked, whether we the hotel. As we answered in the negative, a surprise of the hotel. We got two rooms in the 3. stick to the pool side with a partial ocean view. Unfortunately we would have the question immediately alerted, we had but as something similar was already once deeply felt. When we moved into the room we were surprised with a blower or absauge the constantly ran. Climate and toilet we could exclude. Across the wall to the robinson club was a air circulation area, but when the balcony door ... was very quiet. Remained thus only a fan or air conditioner on the roof. The first gentleman at the front desk said friendly, the come from the kitchen, and when i went it was from. None. New complaint with the next guy at the front desk solved only surprise from, then he wanted to send a technician, but the would have already time. Since it was already late was this brummen from the roof was very noisy and monotonous. He said rude he could me in a room on the street chic. So much for the hospitality. Despite ear plugs, we concern always, we could hardly sleep. The next day we did with the help of our tour guide a room change vornehmen'dürfen' the noisy rooms are always back to unsuspecting, unfortunate people award. We stayed with some speak. This hotel is not 4 stars worth. Meals and beverages were tasted ok, but unimaginative and monotonous, so there was, for example, within a week 5 times calamari rings in tomato sauce, jelly 14 days long only red jelly (green or yellow would probably cost-technically the same), the same goes for other meals. On canary evening was no difference in the food clear, except that additional wines expensive were offered. The best was however the all inclusive offer of drinks. Here are without extra payment only a few drinks. The name all inclusive is therefore absolutely not applicable. For example ..., the Cappuccino only with payment erältlich, other kaffegetränke only from the machines, to non-alcoholic cocktails only one, but also always andes looked (sometimes yellowish times reddish). Overall not recommended. According to statements of guests before october 2014 were in this hotel, it was much better, but in the october the management changed, and there was a new chef. The service in this hotel is quickly posted: room cleaning up, food buffet stand, plates or dining tables clearing. That was it. Everything else the guests themselves!     The room was medium sized, very spartanic furnished, everything was very cheap and old. Old tube monitor, the cover for the fridge was missing, the air conditioning system makes neat sounds. No shelf space for the suitcase. The bathroom was ok. Everything was clean.

    Friendliness know not all in this hotel. The room cleaning was regular from 2:30 p. m. instead. We stayed in the 3. floor. When asking, why all in at 11:00 p. m. ends but the bar until 12:00 p. m. loud music on, has been said and i quote: 'as finally are still paying guests!' That is an insolence for itself. We stayed for 2 persons for 9 days over christmas and new year 3300 Euro paid! I wonder, i am not paying guest?

    We only used the pool 1 times used, supposedly heated! The sea was much warmer. The beach chairs, if you described as such would like, have your best times at least since 5 years ago.     The location to the beach and the shops, restaurants etc. Is optimal. But the hotel itself is located behind the Robinson Club and half of the hidden. In addition any turbines from the Robinson Club also at night noise. It is therefore actually irrelevant, if you the more expensive rooms on the pool side or the budget to the side of the road. Noise, noise. Unfortunately we had pool side, right next to the bar.

Everything in general was pleased to look at. Following temen should be reconsidered. 1) pool towels only for a fee, with all inclusive not acceptable. 2) breakfast was ok, lunch and dinner could have been a bit more varied (not leftovers from the Before for the next day through pooling again on salad) 3) beach stay for such a resort should reasonable prices as pool chairs and Umbrellas improved werder (beach chairs and umbrella for 4, - €) just for a stay of 14 days to expensive 4) with all inclusive needs to be in order of Cappuccino not saying ... come ' against Payment. read hotel review

Yes what can you say we were 6 times in alamarena. The snack bar by the pool were put, we found not good, whether quality or not. Despite the many negative reviews we find the price-performance ratio was still good. One must also say that we were there as a large group traveling and you then over many bad things ignoring. From the 6 january like each year the guests the much less pay and the behavior of the guests and the meal suddenly became bad. As already often said we also despite all inclusive often food after morro also ... part of the holiday. I think the we as group return. We traveled as pair 54/53 over christmas and new year's eve the holiday was relaxing and nice, with some limitations and restrictions in the service, the rooms and at the pool bar. What has disturbed us, are really very worn furniture in the room and the bath tub in the bathroom. The food was not bad, but more spices could have been the food was good and a bit more varied. The hotel Probably next time not to visit, as long as the general condition not change. The water in the pool was very cold, despite solarplatten on the roof. ... We had early in the may 2013 the category with pool/garden view and were as pair over christmas and Sylvester 2013 there, visit Fuerteventura since 1986. It took a night, until we a room got, what the booked category actually was. Can happen. The nationaltypical star award (here: 4 stars) is the reference necessary, the Spain 17 different regional laws for reviews, all with different criteria. Most of the guests are in Germany usual 4 - star first-class category, and are disappointed! Usually you could one star to the german standard off - we prefer 2 stars from! 1) the ... room decor is not excellent was modern, but practical and in poor condition, cheap, old (ancient tv) and worn (couch). The undertow. Minibar consisted of an empty fridge, bathrobes are not offered, the safe costs. The same applies for wi-fi (1, - per hour., 8 Euro on day), even the daily pool-towel change service - connected with a deposit - costs! Electrical outlets are also scarce, but there are a lot of blind in the room, behind which the electricity wires loose!? 2) the rooms are clean, the ladies, praise and recognition! (quote from another review): ' the workers at the lower wage groups work. Very friendly, efficient and well. The higher grades, strut partially without to greet, through the hotel.' (unquote) the is just to add, the one just before 8 o'clock in the morning by a suction. Suit wearer are prevented, to swim in the pool (start time is 8:00 a. m.), what i after a short 'entertainment' then 'exceptionally' but allowed. Generous! The guest is not welcome, it didn't bother. 3) in the dining room you feel immediately felt comfortable, if you hostels from 80er years or ugly cafeteria like. 4) to all meals (also gala christmas and Sylvester) there were, and buffet, also the (evening) table drinks service has been abolished. The guests are therefore constantly 'on the road'. As the number of employees was reduced, the table cleaning of trouble. These ladies and gentlemen, but still praise and recognition, especially where the West Sahara means Mohammed. The displeasure and frustration of the guests should always those bear, the least for the conditions are responsible! The fish smells the head. 5) the simple pool bar staff saved and coffee, water and soft drinks are now machines - the airport are better! 6) the lounge bar is a dark hole, relying on closest area (pointless) can get drunk, the (alleged) all inclusive service ends an hour before 'closing time'. A menu reveals the astonished guest, that a drinks each category was included, the good costs. Example Brandy: we expect no Carlos i, but osborne veterano could it be must and not just a ' national Brandy'. The offered red, rose and white wine on tap were sour and cheap booze. In january 2013 were we for the first time in alamarena. We liked it except for a few small things good. Thus we decided in december with the family over the turn of the year again a week to go on holiday here. In november we read some of the negative reviews, especially of the regular guests. Now we could make his own picture. We found it simply only great, that the management had the courage, changes. There must be no beach chairs at the pool are reserved. This is to the liking of the 'older' people (regular guests) not. ... They said that before, they have the power and the say. One can in peace sleep and is no longer on the back of the couches in the morning around five hours woke us up. Also, the men asked in the evening in long trousers and closed shoes for dinner. But to say the hotel was not so good anymore, we find a joke. We find, the hotel has improved. read hotel review

It pleased me very well IFA altamarena much. The food at the buffet was large and there was always refilled. There was always fish, meat and poultry. Especially i found good, that it for breakfast also wholemeal bread and black bread. And always plenty of fresh fruit - even at the pool bar. The charwomen very thoroughly cleaned and the towels were also has worked well. I particularly liked christmas and new year's eve. The hotel during this time many guests always come back. The two ladies from the entertainment team were always very hard. So all in all - ... a great holiday. read hotel review

We were four times in a row over christmas at the hotel. We had always very good. In this year we unfortunately had to see, that in some areas it has become worse, for example all-inclusive offer (Cappuccino, lumumba or espresso was only for a fee (and they are still our favorite drinks!) Furthermore, the beach chairs at the pool be replaced (you conveniently in banking and dozes so before itself, as cracks quite unexpectedly back together!) And last: the food was already better (more varied and tasteful!) Positively i would like to the friendly staff and the cleanliness of ... stress. read hotel review

After 5 january the meals became worse, bland and no selection anymore. Every day the same fish and the meat dry and tough. The holiday was not cheap. read hotel review

Hotel ok, unfortunately no all inclusive! The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly, respectful and helpful. Many also spoke perfect german. Unfortunately the bar its menu not, since one the cocktails, which despite universe inclusive had to pay were constantly on the card had since the bar with the name nothing start could. Overall this hotel is not suitable for young couples. Respect for paradise for retired people! The entertainment was on the older clientele or on children, very small children.     The room was large, spacious and clean. There is a flat screen tv. Unfortunately only 2 german transmitters. For further one must naturally pay. There is a safe in the closet, of course only against a fee to use.

    With all inclusive there was breakfast, lunch dinner, as well as snacks at the pool bar. The snacks consisted of gooey fruit and dry cakes. The quality of the food was ok, one got full. But it was a bit varied. The all inclusive drinks are a joke. The juices and soft drinks are completely over-sweet. There are the cheapest beer and the cheapest wine. For good spirituoesen and cocktails, you had to pay. The coffee was horrible. Good coffee though. Against cash goes without saying!

    As already said, the animation for old people and very young children and the was always the same. There are two pools. They are in good condition. Beach chairs at the pool there were always as the new owner a the reserve has prohibited.

    The location is great! It is centrally located, good bus connections, no 5 minutes walk to the beach and many excursion possibilities. Unfortunately few good shopping possibilities. Two shopping center which mostly empty, a junk store hunts the next where pushy salesmen harassed.

Since it was our first all inclusive holiday was, we were a little disappointed, how many drinks you have to pay, but after a request to friends and family, was unsklar, that everything is normal. My friend was a little disappointed about the duvet, since these only a towel is. There was for each bed a blanket. The beach chairs at the pool must be replaced.
