The Park Hotel sankt peterburg is a 22-storied concrete block north of the center from plovdiverse on foot it was a good quarter of an hour to the center on the way. Parking is on the guarded hotel parking fee (3 Euro per night) possible. Our room (studio ) was very spacious and seemed inviting at first glance. Some things must be mentioned the windows did not open, because of the low windows are the handles removed, to ' fall out ' of the guests to prevent. At the front desk you get on demand however a matching handle. In ... the bathroom it smelled of sewerage, the smell was after the first night but largely verflüchtig. A shower curtain was not available, there were two piece of soap and shampoo. The heater/air conditioning was not adjustable, may the temperature centrally controlled. The crt invited to rapid zap a, there were many german programs available. Electrical outlets are only in the workplace available, if you in bed his laptop with electricity supply would, takes better a extension cord with. The mattresses the beds i felt as very pleasant, because not too soft. The breakfast was not great, but there was fresh agitating or fried egg, a simple choice of sausage and cheese, yogurt and cherries from the can. This' spurious' orange juice. We were over 200 guests, perhaps the selection of days with lower occupancy diminished. Who rich post-socialist charm to enjoy, is in the ' sankt peterburg ' in good hands. One is compensated by the fantastic views of plovdiv and the behind the mountains.
