We stayed as a family the 2 time in the hotel and are for the umpteenth time not disappointed. The area is very well maintained and the staff very courteous. Small problems were immediately dealt with. The food in the hotel is very good, until now the best offer what i in a universe inclusive hotel. Also the spa area of the hotel is highly recommended. This year could we the beach not really use, as there were a lot of seaweed was. read hotel review

The hotel complex is rather small, but with a beautiful and well maintained garden. It is everything very open and airy decor. The gardeners afford a great job. When we were there were about ever 40% germans and italian guests in the hotel. The rest were south african, belgian amongst others read hotel review

    The romos and the bathroom were big enough. The huge beds were all with a mosquito net provided. We missed, that it especially in the bathroom not enough storage space was. Here would be an additional stool or several hangers already have been useful. Very nice was the balcony with a large sofa and two comfy chairs including table. Safe, telephone, air conditioning system and a small refrigerator (always filled up with bottles of water ) was available. The laundry service we once used and were very satisfied.

    The food was good. Afternoons and evenings there was nothing to complain about. You have always found something and it was also satisfactory. Also here it was very clean and the chefs at the various pans had always a friendly smile on the lips, although behind the pans certainly was very hot. The breakfast was perhaps a little monotonous, but it we didn't bother us.

    For the service there's of us only praise. All service representatives a great job and wonderful to us. The went already starts as we of our dreitagessafari in the hotel arrived. We were immediately with damp clothes and a welcome cocktail the luggages were immediately to the room and a small snack was provided. We felt from the breakfast at over lunch and cocktail hour (from 6:00 p. m.), dinner and then until midnight always well-served. A smile and a friendly jambo had the staff always for all of the guest. Mostly even tried a bit to speak german. Since we in Kenya are we expect anyway not comprehensive knowledge of german. In Germany can also hardly the language of kenyans. But with english you well understood.

    Should be emphasized here the great animation team. The young people have a wonderful cared for the guests and about their country with demands much told. The sports offer we partly booked taken into account. It was water aerobics, archery, Volleyball amongst others offered and from the guests much used. The friendliness the animation team also has not deteriorated, also to late hour after a busy 12 hours the boys and girls still to be ready for jokes. At the pool as well as at the beach there were enough sunbeds and shady spots. On the beach of the hotel by boys didn't bother me but behind on the way to the sea fell then initially several beachboys on us. This was but only at the start so, after a while it left after. One must only consistently say no and not note. The evening entertainment was the half of the animation team and foreign groups of artists (acrobatics, african dances) decorated. We had each evening program have fun.

    The distance to the airport is unfortunately with two and a half hours travel time very long. But it can't every hotel nearby of an airport lounge chairs. The town malindi is easily reachable in 10 minutes by taxi or regional tuc tuc to reach. Costs are highest 1 Dollar or 50 keniashilling. Malindi itself made as all cities in Kenya for europeans a chaotic impression, this is however also very worth seeing if you have reservations forget. There in Kenya left lane traffic, it is not recommendable even to drive. Furthermore, traffic is really chaotic. We were in the mungaro cooperative malindi for shopping of souvenirs ( holzschnitzwerkstatt ) and very nice things bought. Maybe not quite as cheap as with a catamaran but we could but also in peace and were not of sellers bothered.

Beautiful hotel with minor defects! Breakfast selection could be better! However amazing entertainment team and top staff! The hochnäsigen ' bosses' fit wouldn't go there! They run with an arrogance through the hotel, during the staff a always friendly and one always a short small talk can! Beachboys nerves, but 3 excursions with those made and it was everything is great! Can Alex highly recommend! ( price negotiate ) Juliana massaged for under 10 Euro tipi top! We like the hotel and the staff very. Everything was clean, staff very pleasant and helpful. Was our 8 time in this hotel, also for the next year already booked. At this time are few tourist there. This makes it really fun. No hecticness, everything was nice and quiet. Animation pleasant, sometimes but also pushy. But with nice words goes it then. The beach was this year clean and was cleaned. Beach boys, as always they were there. Since little tourist will they want much action and sell. What some tourist annoying will be. If you are settled in it ... is not a problem. All, whether in the hotel or at the beach need tourist. Otherwise they didn't do anything. They live of us. All features a small something and you get the thanks 100 bin back. A safaribuchung fürde I at the beach recommend. Good and cheap. Last you from the tour operators catch unawares. The sell the same offers, deserve but twice. Than have fun in malindi. Hotel rather small and doesn't correspond to a four-star hotel ( not country category!) are very often traveling (dom. Republic Egypt, Kenya - Diani beach and so on) but the sandies tropical was so far the worst hotel. Cleanliness especially in the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, No wardrobe, just rods for hanging clothes in the entrance area, small shelves as file for laundry. No tv in the room. All inclusive mean: Cola, Fanta, beer at the 'beach bar'/ hut, Than beach bar you can not at all call. Other drinks from 6:00 P. M. at the ... small main bar opposite the front desk. The food was sparse and the plates were not replenished '. Selection was minimal. We didn't like it. Staff appeared unmotivated and had no motivation. It lacks a boss in the restaurant, the somewhat' steam' power and the staff on trot brings (no comparison to the hotel Baobab in the Diani beach - there we after two days transferred and were very happy about!) The sandies tropical predominantly guests from Italy, which did not disturb us however. Animation mostly in Italian. Low tide and high tide very strong; in the morning one can only in the pool baden, Very much seaweed, what is not cleared and forever at the beach - in the sea- and again at the beach liegenbleibt. My opinion is the management very relaxed and didn't, what in the hotel happens. read hotel review

    We were not in town malindi, which we however the drive from the Mombasa to the hotel have seen, it was also not really on Outside curly.

Nice hotel. Garden very well maintained. Mostly italian guests (which hardly a word of english, so communication only with hands and feet). Food therefore very italian influence. Beautiful pool and fantastic beach, but unfortunately with too many boys, the in peace leave. Relaxing was hardly possible. Only with headphones, so that the standing the beach boys not must be heard. We were even with the in the sea of the boys is. The beach boys are the main reason, why we are not come back to this hotel would. read hotel review

    Bathrooms are old... Very old...! Rooms are big enough. No real closet available. We knew not at all, where to put all of our things. Mosquito nets available. Mattress very hard. We had to you exchange. Balcony big enough. Fresh bottles of water every day in the room.

    The food tasted very good and always fresh. Unfortunately, there was only a kenyan evening. This was great. Great atmosphere and great food. We had pasta and pizza want, we would be to Italy went ☺. The breakfast was not done. For this is worthwhile waking up not. No meats for the toast. Thus remained only, a omelet to order (that was good) and this on the toast to put. What recommendable is, is the fischdinner. We have all alone directly at the beach enjoyed. A wonderful experience with great food. Thanks to the restaurant manager and the waiter (we believe, he was called cristof?) The evening for us unforgettable made.

    The service of full marks. The kindness and the commitment of the staff are here especially highlighted. We had rarely seen. And the, although the staff really very poor and hardly enough money, for our own family to feed. But this is a nationwide problem. Unfortunately. Just a pity, that a Europa waste management not motivated is, for its staff more to do and than good example to go.

    Great animation team. Always friendly but never pushy! Very pleasant. The evening shows we have definitely not addressed. Massais have their shows sold and acrobats their shown. If you like it...! We would have preferred, if you instead or at the end of the evening still music would let it run. But also that's a question of taste.

    With the tuk tuk in 10 minutes in malindi. Malindi appears for us germans very chaotically and dirty. But we found it quite interesting and the drive with the tuk tuk you have to have done. The beach is beautiful, with high and low tide, and we had no seaweed and could well bathe. Beach walks we could also make. Marina Beach we found not so great. There were snorkeling. But there was not really lots to see.

All of the staff at the hotel strives much the be of the guests from the eyes. We felt especially with the entertainers and animator very of them. The whole hotel area and everything that belonged to it, we can definitely recommend it. Only the management ( the its registered office in Lugano in Switzerland has) is to criticize, as we heard, that the complete staff since some time on their salary urgent and wait you prefer only Italian hotel guests received would. Very much hope, that the approach of the management improves, that would be the staff to be ..., as the average salary about 80 €per month is. read hotel review

    The rooms are spacious with a large double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is not so great, but we had on Gran Canaria worse bathrooms as in Kenya! Air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe and a small fridge with water are in the room. Daily cleaning.

    The complete staff is very friendly. No matter wether gardener, service or barman. Too many will english spoken or italian. Some could also german very well. Negative impression unfortunately the italian chef-entertainer. This has only its fellow countrymen talk and us german not even greet. But it was the only, the negative is.     Unfortunately approximately 2 hours shuttle from the airport to the hotel. But it was not boring, because you on the way a lot of the country and people could see. Hotel lies directly at the beach (unfortunately with very much seaweed) and the indian ocean had a temperature of circa 30 °c.

It was our first vacation but we were in Kenya really completely satisfied. It was surely one of the best vacations. The only thing could the are sometimes really intrusive waiters (is true. Simply because we were traveling = 2) also the entertainers were really persistent but always very friendly and very hard-working. The whole hotel is very clean, twice a day the towels changed and on the balcony beautiful furniture to relax in front of the dinner! beach boys are also very nice-depending on the openness of the people show a for a little money or the silver beach ... like! You can also quiet time in the evening with the Tuk-tuks after Malindi town-not dangerous and definitely a 'trip' value. Especially away from the lots of tourists in one of the many local bars are approximately=) we are definitely coming again after Malindi-Prague vacation. read hotel review

we were the second time in Kenya and are again and again thrilled by the friendliness and the warmth of Yes very poor people. The competent and had a great satisfaction from and try with all the resources people to you an unforgettable vacation in order to experience. The hotel is predominantly in Italian hands but it didn't bother us since the employees mostly spoke German and were always pleased the German tourists. We also have a four-day flight Safari in the Masai Mara Safari on weight for a more unforgettable experience was. Jambo Malindi. This year we were not disappointed as always a nice vacation. All the staff from the hotel, very nice and accommodating. The beach as always, sometimes loud, sometimes silent. Depending on which for tourists. Rarely have any problems with the boys on the beach. But very recommendable is cancel a safari on the beach (Ronald, Thomas and so on). Many of them speak German and to do everything possible to ensure the good comfortable. Prices at the beach were cheaper than from the tour operator. But also the prices in Malindi have become more expensive, for example with ... Tuk ride now hundred ksh, only 50 ksh last year. Almost everything is half the more expensive. Unfortunately the hotel. We were able to have a beautiful and relaxed vacation in Kenya spend, whose highlight clearly the safari was. From the beach we were disappointed. You had to get through large areas of seaweed fight, until you fun enjoyment could. This has also been seaweed large Quantities of the beach washed, of extremely annoying beach boys was overcrowded. Relaxed walks on the beach are not possible. in the hotel there are two types of rooms. In the first row are newly renovated and with beautiful bathrooms equipped ( mirror are partly cloudy, the bottom is stained), in the second row ... are older, in the bathroom there was mold, the air conditioning rattled, etc. we complained and a better room, we found it felt very comfortable have. The complete staff in the hotel was very friendly and endeavored. The hotel is but completely on Italian guests. Next to speaks English the complete staff only Italian, also the entertainment program is held in Italian. the choice of food is modest, but good, the courts repeat after 1 week, pasta is at the order of the day. the hotel is far in Malindi from Mombasa, we have surely 2.5 hours to the hotel. We have in the hotel comfortable, but for swimming you must not fly to Kenya, in combination with one extensive safari is highly recommended! read hotel review

This year, it was a very lovely stay in the hotel. It has changed a little bit. The food was improved, with a open Cooking and other services. But one thing has remained, the friendliness all the staff. Take the vacation very nice. The beach is also quiet has become. Only if new Italian hot was about it. But at the beach there is a hierarchy. Many Italians want to take this action. Otherwise you have at the beach little problems, from time to time the Touristenpolicei locally and then the beach was almost empty. It was very nice and ... is worthwhile come again. great the club area in one Italian hotel is integiert. The staff are always very nice and helpful. We have stayed 6 times in this area and will also next year again vacation make. the hotel area was very well maintained and also the toilets in the outdoor area were cleaned every hour. The food is for Nudelfraeks very good. the cakes and the small Snacks in the afternoon are recommended. at the beach boys you can get used to. And for a small Make money you everything you need for a great vacation. this club Resort is an Italian ... guests court hotel. Which means, it can evening and also during the day very noisy. But you can get used to. For Mach it fun spend your holiday, especially if you the environment met has.
