We had a double room in the hotel booked. Our room was nearby the reception. Nice, big hotel with bungalows and 2 story buildings. The hotel is very well-kept and in the beach-sew lies the restaurant and the pool. The room service came every day. In the room there was a kettle, 2 small bottles of water per day free, safe, hair dryer, tv, dvd player (movies you could at the front desk received). On the balcony there was a small clothes rack for swimming gear. Wireless internet access the hotel inclusive. Guest structure was in march international and what ... the age was completely mixed. read more

    Beautiful large room with a balcony, bathroom with a shower and separate bathtub. Every day there were no towels and little bottles of shampoo and so on. In the room there was 2 closets with safe, unfortunately somewhat few shelves for clothes. The room was brilliant designed. Kettle, 2 small bottles of water free every day, minibar, dvd player and tv (movies at the front desk).

    Direct on the beach, there was the breakfast restaurant. You could eat inside or outside. The team is very friendly and fulfilled every wish. The breakfast buffet was really varied and delicious. We only in the morning breakfast and otherwise ate elsewhere.

    Very friendly staff! With english communication worked without any problems. We were very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and tidy. On the hotel there was a spa and fitness centre. It gave for the new guests again a extrabegrüßung by the hotel management.

    The pool was beautiful with sea view. There were very many beach chairs with umbrellas, unfortunately also many notorious handtuchreservierer... But we always find a free deck chair, if some tan we wanted.     The beach is very beautiful and directly at the hotel area. Beach chairs/umbrellas were enough, towels available free of charge. The nice thing was, there were no large stones right at the waterfront there was. Left and right from the hotel there was however, as you can only with beach shoes into the water. If you from the hotel the direction of the main road, there were a few small stores (food, bar, restaurants, pharmacy, schneider, laundry service, travel agencies...) , more shops for shopping and so on however, there are in Khao Lak (150 Bhat for 2 people with pickup taxi). On the main street there were mondays/wednesday/saturday a market with stands and delicious, cheap food. Go there. On the main street you can also buses to phuket and so on stop. Frequent. But because of the freezing air conditioning a bring sweaters!

The hotel has direct access to the sea. It is located on the most beautiful beach section, the also at high tide can be accessed.     Our room was the 916 directly in the pool access. Area! Had huge looking forward to it, because that we had not at all booked ☺ secret upgrade. There was then a private pool, the but also other could be used, with internal pool bar ( happy hour at every pool bar from 16:30 to 18:30) rooms big enough with innenliegendem bathroom. Huge bed with thick plümo, but very hard mattresses (you have to like ) the furnishing very dark. Minibar was refilled briskly, air-conditioner available, worked, just as almost everywhere very loud. For sleeping rather disturbing. So you can decide, whether sweat or loud climate. Coffee and tea in the room.

    Staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. You were able to communicate very well in english. In the afternoon was mostly in the lobby a german speaking lady. Was partly very helpful, because everything you get in english yes not always %blank%. The rooms were cleaned daily. We got every day a duftteelicht into the room provided ☺ At two days we had briefly no water. It was probably a mains broken. As we and other guests at the front desk answer said, was this deficiency but very quickly eliminated. Actually not worth mentioning.

    There was no entertainment luckily no. There were very few children in the hotel. One had the whole day your peace. Showers were 3 piece by the pool available. 2 toilets, that were clean. By the pool, as well as on the beach, there was sufficiently many couches, partially wood and plastic each with cushions, adjustable. Towels you could also rent-free. In spite of the sign-please no chairs reserve-have several people already before breakfast done. You get it from the german probably not want to leave.     Direct beach access, shopping, supermarket and everything easily reachable on foot. Pickup taxi there was otherwise on every corner for little money. But important! Negotiate! A drive to Khao Lak City ( the next town) costs about 100 thb. Restaurants countless nearby. Excursion possibilities there is on every corner. Whether all now so seriously are, i can't say. But we booked our trips at Khao Lak highlight tour. We have on the internet before research and were very satisfied! Straubinger reading here often, would be a possibility. Desk in the hotel most of them were more expensive than outside. We are divers, these excursions we booked over the sea ok booked. We were in the La Flora the first and loved it. Only drawback the as often early (about 7 hours ) in the morning almost all pool chairs were occupied this however only much later used. The staff is in all very tried hard to help us make the vacation as pleasant as possible. I would like to highlight the the guests both personally welcome, as well as as also been adopted. This happened as a part of small snacks and drinks. This was also asked what we like and what things be improved have to. All in all it ... was a perfect vacation. Especially recommendable are the pool rooms, because that represents the annoying search for a free beach chair and you have the rear pool very quiet! read more

The hotel complex is not overly large. The numbers go up over 900, it was not however in the slightest were there a thousand rooms, or a thousand other people. The hotel is beautiful.     The rooms are as well getting quite old, what probably with the high humidity was. Especially the showers could have been better maintained. The rooms are big enough. You have a bed, bedside tables, dressing table and work desk, two enough big closets, a dresser with drawers, and something like a sofa, a tv (unfortunately only one channel,'Deutsche Welle'?) , a balcony, a mini bar, a kettle (in addition there was instant coffee and tea) and a telephone. The air conditioning you can after you can regulate. There is everything you need. A bath there is also. We were very comfortable. In the minibar you can find water, soft drinks, beer, spirits, nuts and chocolate, reasonably priced not at all times as expensive. What the cleanliness concerns we have no complaints. You can even choose, whether you bed every day freshly referred to want to or not. Even without a tip, is the room every day in the same high extent cleaned.

    We have Thailand actually seen like us other of which have reported. One everywhere very welcoming and greeted us with a smile. In the hotel us each desire from the eyes, everyone strives to please about that one felt all around feel welcome. None of the hotel staff entered us opposite unfriendly to. The german skills were very poor, the knowledge better, but it fails the english at the debate. However, we were no problems to communicate. For emergencies is' doctor ' Anne since, the spoke german perfectly. Our room was without complaints every day cleaned. Although we in this respect very picky, we were very satisfied. On 2. day we had to another room one asked, as ours to the street was and it therefore very early in the morning a bit louder was. Our wish was immediately met with a smile and we slept from the 2. night calm.

    Leisure or leisure facilities are not really available. We enjoyed the very good, as we on vacation absolute peace very much appreciated. On the water we have nobody something sporty make see. It is a beach-volleyball court here, played but none. For such activities was it in my opinion also much too hot, especially in the sun. Sometimes came a few boys from the staff and asked, if you like a game of water polo wanted to participate, but twice asked you also not. Mostly we really from 10:00 to 15:00 just in our beach chairs located, or the beach walked along. After it is my impression that bang niang beach to be one of the most beautiful in the whole coast. You can to the left or right lovely walk until you burst. There is also a lot to see, as lots of little crabs, different shells, small rivers and of course all other hotels. If you want you can all few meters food, or drink, or enjoy a massage. The whole beach is clean, and the sand was a bit rocky, so very nice. Around midday you should nevertheless not without slippers los, because the sand was very hot. The umbrellas of the hotel are have already gotten very old, yet functional. For the loungers is the same, but it is everything very clean held, so that we all felt good have. Showers are sufficiently available.

    The beach is right next to the hotel connected. You can go to please the whole day from the pool chairs between the sea and pool change. If it should be is really quick in the room. Until to Khao Lak city it 5 minutes by cab, to phuket, or to the airport there is 1,5 hours drive. We have bang niang, except for our tours, not leaving. One can shop in the weekly market, perhaps in phuket, however it is not as cheap as one introduces oneself, and one gets at each corner of the same. The nightlife is left and right gesäumt from innumerable bars, restaurants and small shops, in which one to the night shopping. The beach along the same picture only without the shops and matching atmosphere. Was standing or similar absolutely wrong. You must definitely not far run and already not at all from the hotel way to get a nice evening. Excursions you could on some corners book, but more about that later. If you just so to leave, was very good with taxis, the are everywhere, or one rents oneself very cheap a scooter.

Nice hotel directly at the beach. In the area lots of restaurants and some beach bars. The very nice beach is also was reasonably sized. Khao Lak can the beach on foot be achieved (circa 30-40 minutes). In the evening the center from Khao Lak by taxi about minutes distance (Bhat 150,00). The hotel is very clean, the breakfast really good. The staff very nice and always tried to help and make the stay as pleasant as possible. Transfer from the airport about 1 hour. read more

We were after five days Bangkok and a week round trip in north thailand in La Flora traveled. A good decision for the conclusion of the vacation. Everything was good : room, staff, restaurant, front desk and the two pools. The directly at the beach was perfect for the walks on the beach and swimming in the sea. Who as a couple in peace a couple of nice days spend, is right at home here. The hotel is a rather small and that is the attraction. We have a garden villa booked and were on the beachfront villa upgraded. Great view from its own balcony included. But it is also on display. The next time we would (this will give) again a garden villa booked. The pool access spaces are also nice. Unfortunately the whole pool full of ausblasbarem toys, that also adults used. Unfortunately, so it looks, as on the kirmes. Unfortunately also the fitness equipment not ... the newest. Everything worked, but it is much better, also and especially for a good hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent. Great beach vacation after a nord -Thailand round trip. We still have some hotels nearby viewed, but the hotel La Flora Resort & Spa pleased us with distance best. Alone already the breakfast at the sea, the garden and our accommodation were great. We had our room changing a villa with special facilities get. Just amazing. Many thanks again at the management. This has very hard, all to do it justice. We would definitely book the hotel again. read more

A well-kept, green area of medium size. We had a nice, from the size absolutely sufficient room with a view through the palm trees onto the sea. The condition the hotel and in the rooms is good. For all, the first time to Thailand travel and perhaps of the few bad reviews disconcert to let, it must be mentioned that: even if it small faults gave (Thailand is not Germany comparable), we had no cause for complaint. It is a nice 4 star hotel with good service, the you really can book. If once a problem returns, are the employees ... friendly and always tried hard, complaints immediately. read more

    Our deluxe room was very spacious and had a nice balcony with a view of the palm trees on the sea. Furniture was sufficiently available, small work as z. example the drawers sometimes pursue amongst others should be carried out on a regular basis. The fridge was (as older) a bit noisy, exactly like the air conditioning, we can also confirm. It is probably on the upper floors louder, since under the roof air conditioners are installed. The television program had only a german transmitter, which one could certainly change, but who needs in such a nice area a tv? The bathroom was nice and spacious. Was very good the kettle, always filled with drinking water and proper-coffee or tea, we leden day.

    The breakfast was for us a dream, those who still complained here around it, makes the at a high level and whoever wasn't full, it was your own fault. The restaurant through its great location at the beach simply already once 100 points and you can every morning the view for breakfast enjoy. The staff was efficient and again and again tea and coffee was regularly replenished. The dinner looked appetizing, we can't rate, since we always ate outside. It is just a lot cheaper and also delicious.

    The employees of the La Flora were always very attentive and friendly. If you a problem had (our safe was broken), it took less than an hour and the house technician had already a new one installed. It was at the front desk good english spoken and also some of the housekeeping staff spoke english. Otherwise we just the body language used and are always understood. The cleaning of the rooms was for us very well.

    The pool was clean and the mats and the beach chairs also. Of course, there were the umbrellas some mold (as in some reviews criticized) but if you think and know, that you were in a tropical country with a lot of humidity on the way is, it is also clear, that even a new umbrella after 2 months again mold forms-logical or? The showers were clean, you should only time the taps in the toilet bolt on, they were somehow always relaxed.

    The La Flora is very cheap, if you have a choice of restaurants, bars and for shopping loves. We have specially paid attention to it and are not disappointed %blank%. It is everything available in one place and you need a taxi. If you then but to nang thong beach will get, take the bus or a taxi. The distance to the airport is approximately one hour, depending on the speed of the driver.

The hotel we would absolutely recommend! We had a great vacation, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is varied. The rooms are well equipped and everything is very clean. We have some excursions in the town booked (about the hotel too expensive). Especially good at the beach you can in the bar 'my friend' food, in the city itself we would the restaurant Mali or rabeang recommend it. read more

    Huge and clean room. Refrigerator available, which also for beverages, we outside cheaper eingekauf have, be used. Daily there were two bottles of water. The kettle was refilled daily and coffee you could also tea. The air conditioning worked great and was in 3 stages adjustable. The bathroom was brilliant. Particularly the jacuzzi bath for 2 people. You should definitely try. Otherwise is the shower large enough.

    From phuket about 1,5 hours with taxi easily accessible. Nice, quiet and clean beach. Good suitable for beautiful walks. Shopping directly at the small main street, but recommended for purchases is the nearby market (mondays, wednesdays, saturdays). Desk (german and english) only on 'the straubinger' booked. Really very recommendable!

As repeat offender you have probably already in the shorter period of 14 days a year ago on 'La Flora Resort & Spa Khao Lak' a good feeling had. Shortly after our vacation-return 2012 we booked the same again, this time for 3 weeks, a pool-access -room, even a sezielle point, a little of the pool bar away located. Everything we booked has worked as we had hoped, we all were comfortable and of nothing but also nothing at all disappointed %blank%. The general environment has hardly changed, on the road to place the construction is still, however, there are ... a new hotel with a 'italian' and our favorite restaurant 'satang' has a a bakery attached, and the business sense of the operator-family shows. The evening nightcap with kim in the loo lo bar we also enjoyed like last year. And then was there still the cabaret 'moo moo' the us with its travestie show so impressed that we it 3 time visited! All together we would stay here again, but one must also once again something else reputation. read more

Example: a small singha beer costs 20 meters away in a beach bar 60-70 Bhat and at the hotel bar 150 Bhat! For information : 400 Bhat about 10 Euro. But what really really great was, was if someone at the beach a candelight dinner had booked-everything was wonderfully presented, the ambience really beautiful (i seem to recall, the of the 4500 Bhat per person cost-menu was subject)

    Nice beach for long walks on the beach. Shuttle to phuket circa 1.0 hour. Nice nightlife, great restaurants-as everything in the side streets and not directly at the busy main street in the Khao Lak center (5 minutes by scooter). The market is saturday, monday and wednesday - very nice and only in about 10 minutes walking distance. Taxis everywhere to rent. Great restaurants : at the beach left from the hotel: Tone son (very good), my friends, aroy In the place: rabeang, Mali, siam, chong fa (service was rather unfriendly, but great setting), in the garden (operates a swiss, garden very nice, food alright), pinoccio (italian, food expensive, was sunday) , boss jimnys, furthermore, there was still some more restaurants which we have not had.

A wonderful hotel with very small tiny drawbacks, me the rooms too dark, there was almost no natural light into, even with open curtains. Then should on the complex some trash cans longer be installed, small trash cans on the tables for breakfast wouldn't be bad. The sea not suitable for children since it quite quickly steep slope and it also partly strong currents has. Apart from that the hotel was simply great, it each desire was fulfilled, the staff were super friendly. The prices in the hotel are some higher as in the beach bars. Has it several a ... few meters the beach left. From there, you could also great for an evening meal. Several times in the week then parties, as halfmoonparty or fullmoonparty. Then there is a fireshow. Our favorite was the beach restaurant ' my friend ' to eat, good music to hear we often went late evenings in the thaibar, which is also at the beach right next to the my friend. Outside is Joe's steakhouse recommendable, (definitely reserve, without nothing goes) and the italian restaurant pinoccio. read more

Great hotel, peaceful location, we spend a relaxing hotel. The whole hotel was very well-kept. The breakfast buffet was varied and very good. The hotel's own restaurant view 59 lies directly at the beach, the food was amazing and the romantic atmosphere during dinner unique. We have to our Bangkok-stay nine nights in this great complex spend. The check in-service was looking for the same. We were by the lady at reception personally to our room run and we were the room with all details say-i have never experienced that before! The room was quite large and had everything what you need. Something 'annoying' was the small old crt tv. For such a hotel should a flat now standard. But the tv look we are not to Thailand flown. Positive against was, that one in the whole complex free internet access via wi-fi has. The ... bathroom was large enough and also quite clean. A no-go was the condition the shower! I am not picky, but so moldy cannot hotel shower i've ever had to be - unfortunately a thick downside. The pool was nice and well swim, since a good depth of 160 centimeter was available. Unfortunately were the pool toilets also often very dirty and it was more than unpleasant to use them. At the beach it was on the wooden deck chairs very pleasant to-if you got a beach chair. I can not understand why you in the morning at 8:30/9:00 a. m. no free couch more. This was a real nuisance and we three times a little the good holiday mood spoiled. In the area the quiet location hotels could you plenty of experience and complete. There are plenty of great restaurants (satang -is a little further away from the center - very convenient price! as well as in the center the restaurant Mali are very recommendable). Alltogether it was a really great holiday and we would go back, also in the La Flora. With the recommendation of the hotel i must however a little difficult, as we because of the great reviews (holiday check award TUI-holly and more) with very high expectations there. Clearly it is a great hotel with a great service, but with such a awards you expect a little more, especially a little more cleanliness (shower, pool toilets). Altogether i would like to come again, but with a recommendation the many expectations raises i would be more subdued. read more
