We are anytime again gladly for a few days in this hotel in Melbourne.
We had a junior suite (42 square meter suite with king-size bed, Pull-out sofa) and a great view over the city and the beautiful park Fitzroy gardens, the right next to the hotel begins.
The breakfast buffet in the restaurant 'Gallery' with a view of the park is recommendable.
The free city circle tram you can to reach on foot, thereby a really good individual tour of the town to start. You can all stops-and off wherever you want.

A typical house the famous chain without much charm or significant features. Is a shame, especially for business travellers Internet access with 25 and the breakfast again on 29 will be charged. The transportation situation to and from the park of the famous tennis stadium (Australian Open), the cricket and the new football stadium are just not very far away, as the city itself.
Guests are mostly business travelers. For a city trip to Melbourne there are certainly nicer addresses. Room furnishings were standard (including coffee making facilities and iron), though still dated. It it was tried with doily and ... cushions be to spice up, but unfortunately not really repay renovierungsbedürftigkeit.
Overall but nice staff, good breakfast, and comfortable beds, absolutely to be recommended, if you don't expect hotel experience. read more

The hotel was located very close to the city center, five minutes away from the hotel the tram stop is right, you also get tickets five minutes away from the hotel in 7 eleven-shop (open 24 hours) Tramtickets cost for the whole day on 6.80, you can drive into the zone 1 with all means of transport. Breakfast is included in the room rate (on 365, for two persons) not included. Breakfast buffet costs on 35, -and is quite good and sufficient. The pool at the hotel was great, very clean, not too cold and large Spa tub was ... extremely hot (38 degrees). The hotel is non-smoking, but you can book a smoking room.
I can only recommend the hotel, if you want to see Melbourne for a few days, to the airport it is not so far away. Costs about 60 to, - read more

The Hilton is located directly on a really nice park of Melbourne. The transport links to the city center Melbourne is good. The free city circle tram station, which is the only way to a great tour of the city and so get a good overview, you can walk about ten minutes. As a city hotel for a few nights stay the hotel is a good starting point. Friendly staff and nice service. The decor in the room was a bit dated and the double room was not very large.
