The hotel is the rearmost hotel in the east malias (exclusively all inclusive) and hidden between palm trees, gräßern and wonderful hibiscus flowers on the most beautiful and widest beach section of Kreta. The somewhat older complex is in well-kept condition ( inside, as well as the outside). There is a few small faults where one had to work but these are hardly worth mentioning. Around the main building there are other buildings, which on 2 floors further room include. The rooms in the main building include (to small ) closet, places to sit and table, a vanity and a ... large and comfortable bed included bedside tables. Otherwise is located in a small nebenschrank a modern fridge, the as well as the in the room ownership tv free can be used. The air conditioning is high-quality and by remote control also free of charge around the hour available! Pool, garden and restaurant area are well maintained, lovingly decorated (depending on the subject) and very comfortable laid out. Food (hot food, as well as salad bar) really reasonable and very tasty. Whom the food bland tasted the spices at the table available. dessertschrank is always plentifully filled with everything the heart desires ( also fruit). The staff are very friendly and helpful. All speak at least English. Mrs despina at the front desk even perfect German. You couldn't expect, that everyone there spoke German-it is now times Greece! Directly above the hotel takes you to a small supermarket with acceptable prices and large offer from food to non-food. 2 car rental companies, 3 shops and a lot of taverns borders. All in all a definite insider tip for families that are looking for peace and relaxation and a typical greek hotel a cold concrete block prefer! read more

The hotel lies east of the town center maias ( around 20 minutes away on foot) in peaceful surroundings. There is a main building and several bungalows. We had a double room in the bungalow. This was a bit small and despite lamps a bit dark, but everything, that you need, was there. Our room was clean and tidy. It is a pure all inclusive-hotel, so you do not have to carry a volume. While we were there, there were mainly Italian, russians and German there. With the staff there was 2a 3 persons, who speak German very well. Apart ... from that you'll get further with English. The daily and evening entertainment program was however more on Italian and russians set. From the age structure was of children about teenagers up to retired everything was represented. The beach is directly at the hotel and is here in the water a bit rocky. A couple of minutes in an easterly direction, there are however a small beach, where it in the sea sandy. 2 loungers with umbrella cost at the hotel beach 6, at the other beach 5 €. read more

    We had a while in a bungalow style. The room was small, but sufficient. Tv and air conditioning were available. A mini bar and safe there was also, however for a fee. For the safe we have 10 days 20 €paid. Unfortunately the room was a bit noisy and dark.

    The food was tasty and varied. There was something for every taste. The restaurant was clean and the food we have good. For breakfast you could from different bread and rolls to choose. There was sweet and hearty, yoghurt, fruits and muesli, coffee, choco, juices and tea.

    We were very warmly welcomed and could at o'clock our room relate. The staff are very friendly and speaks partly also German. Even in the biggest rush during the meal times are the waiters still a small joke ready. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and also the towels changed daily.

    The pool was large and also the water temperature was very pleasant. It were enough loungers available. At the pool bar you get the beverages served in glasses. Of the pool you can directly at the beach and into the sea go. The entertainment team was a Italian and spoke no German. During the day there were different animation programs such as water aerobics and yoga. Evenings there were different games, dance, theater or karaoke on the program. As but not seen everything. There is also a tennis court. The but we didn't use it.

    The hotel lies at the edge of Malia. Only about 15 minutes by foot the minoan palace of Malia and approximately 20 minutes out from the center. Because it in Malia many loud pubs and discos there, it is in the Malia Bay hotel rather quiet and you can sleep at night well. In the immediate area there are some small supermarkets and quaint taverns.

Small hotel, the circa 3 kilometer (25 minutes on foot) from Malia / town. If you only want to party is in the wrong place here, as the bus connection rather bad ( bus runs 1 times daily from the hotel from, apart from that 30 minutes on foot to the bus station at the a bus excellent) and no direct bars/ cafes near the hotel are available. A taxi to to Malia costs 7 Euro ( a drive). For those who like to relax and while searching for a beach vacation is, is right at home here. Directly at ... the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is a bit rocky ( bathing shoe recommendable) or you can go right something the beach along and then at a large sandy beach where no rocks/ rock etc. In the sea are. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All inclusive offer reasonable. The food could however somewhat varied his. Tasted for us it was however reasonable. Drinks like beer, wine, Ouzo, Raki, Brandy and soft drinks were included. Other drinks could for bare be ordered.-) Negatively to us was the small bathroom noticed ( shower curtain too short and the bathroom stood after showering underwater). We found to be very positive, that we air conditioning in the room per remote control even and able to regulate. Our Final judgment: A great, relaxing beach vacation in a small but fine hotel. read more

The hotel isn't recommendable! You could be more than 2 stars increase. It stank everywhere after chlorine, after the cleaning the room ( which also not reliable cleaned). The shower was moldy... Black ' mushrooms' in every corner of the bathroom. The food was as intolerable. Umbrellas and beach chairs are very old, partly broken and not more reasonable. The only thing, that positive was, was the entertainment, every night. read more

    We had a spacious room with double bed, a single bed and baby crib for our -year-old daughter. The bathroom was however a catastrophe! Very small and cramped, after showering everything was flooded, on the toilet you had to soon side sit, because otherwise you with your knees on the wall was. Very small washbasin and mini -window for some fresh air. Fridge is available, however not filled, air conditioning worked perfectly, tv also available.

    There was a restaurant with inside and outside seating area, where the 3 main meals were served. Except for lunch no longer waiting times at the buffet. As there are no huge hotel is, was the choice of meals not very big, but what was there tasted very good and was quickly refilled. The salad bar we were only moderately good, almost only vegetables with tzatziki and sheep's milk cheese to put together. For our taste too few greek food, not a only time Gyros. Big shortcoming: only 2 waiter for the restaurant are definitely too few. The tables were partly not set and if more was going on you had to the dreckgeschirr from the previous user itself plate. Drinks exclusively in sb: soft drinks, beer and white/ red wine, everything to the tap, wine glasses, there were only, if one bottle of purchased, apart from that all drinks from water glasses. No cakes in the afternoon, only small trockenkekse of 16.-17 hours! The wine only in the restaurant chilled, who evenings at one of the two bars a glass to drink would like, must ice cubes cool or warm drink!

M. various demonstrations. Pool area, as well as beach very nice. Stayed in the pool area always loungers included umbrella free, no morning reserve necessary. At the beach disturbed however the many cigarette butts! If you wanted it a bit quiet like, should go to the smaller pool go, since the music at the main pool partly was very loud.

    Of the location we were a bit disappointed. However the hotel lies directly at a beautiful, clean and broad sandy beach, but the land was totally abandoned. The Malia Bay is the last in the town, unfortunately there are in the immediate area no bus connections, so you have half an hour to the next stop walk to. Exception is a only bus to Heraklion at: o'clock. Except one supermarket on the other side of the street and a few further within walking environment there is nothing, for a walk worth it. To the center from Malia you would walk around 25 minutes. Excursions as usual were from the travel guide offered.

Lovely hotel with great garden area small but sweet. Beach is great, bathing shoe are a plus there in the water rocks are. There is also lots of seagulls! Only flaws in all-inclusive there is no water in plastic bottles the one with at the beach or to the room can take. Bottles of refill at the drinks stations ( water pumps) is not gladly seen. Supermarket directly in front of the türe there we bought our water for beach and room. read more

The hotel makes a tidy impression. The rooms are cleaned daily. The economy -rooms are in a separate block on the other side of the street. The rooms - in particular the bathroom - are rather small, but well equipped with air-conditioning, fridge, tv. Only drawback: as the warm -water only with the help of some tanks on the roof of the hotel will, is early in the morning only lukewarm water available. read more

    The food itself was good. However was missing to us a little variety. Apart from a few little touches (the one day stuffed peppers, on the next day stuffed tomato) was always about the same. Liked it nevertheless great. In the all inclusive included were brizz -cole, Fanta, lemonade, water, beer, for breakfast ' orange juice'and' grapefruit juice '. Lunch and evenings there was additionally red and white wine, but as salatessig tasted. Coca Cola and drinkable wine were against an extra charge available.

Also at animation some is ordered (yoga, water aerobics, beach volleyball, table tennis, kids club) The beach directly at the hotel was clean but very rocky. Good beaches there is left and right from the hotel. Sun screens/ loungers for 5€ per day be rented. A wi-fi access there for totally unacceptable 4 €per hour. Free wi-fi-net there is actually in each café.

To the next bus station it is a good 15 minutes Opposite of the hotel is a small supermarket with good prices. There you could get everything, which one on vacation need. Good 200 meters to the right is a small cocktail bar, by a very nice, older mr run.

Our room 328 was large and greek decorated, bathroom and toilet clean. The best part was our massive balcony, we had a great view of the sea, also on the mountains. Our all inclusive offer made us always, more than just full. From the soup to the dessert, always delicious. The other guests were Italian, German and russians, but all very nice! read more

    The pool animation repeated every day, my son with great joy with the darts, beach volleyball, cocktail game and water polo with made. But there was also more offers. The pool and beach area was very attractive and clean. We had every day our favorite place by the pool, back on the beach under the palm trees.

    To the airport, by bus about 45 minutes, the city center about 20 minutes walk. Little shops, up to the shop opposite. Directly on the beautiful sandy beach, in the sea are a few rocks/ rock, however with bathing shoes not a problem. We have many beautiful fish...!

So, the hotel is great io (also very green ), staff is doing for the guests satisfied, the food is for breakfast, lunch and dim dinner varied-good. For infants is also an animation and a playground available. The evening entertainment is in Italian, English, Russian, but you can all understand. There is also quiet corners where you your peace finds. Nice the beach directly to the hotel starts ( approximately 20 meters Broad, sand) Unfortunately is only the rooms and parts of the building are somewhat older. Gladly again! read more

Very good location, with private access to the beach, beach is not so full. Two pools, pool bar. Every day animation. Program. Yoga, Salsa Dancing, water aerobics, Bocca, beach volleyball, kids disco, Karaoke. Center Malia is good half-hour on foot, but beautiful Afterdinner after the dinner, ( Lunchtime is too hot for afterdinner). All shops are until 23 o'clock open. Afterwards is' nightlife' with disco bars until 7 o'clock in the morning. Twice a day comes bus after Malia, super unpunktlich... 40 minutes waited. Car rental from 30€... read more

Manageable hotel with simple but practical facilities. The bathroom was already getting old and quite small, but always clean by daily cleaning and change of towels. Small balcony with lateral view of the sea. Safe for a fee. Air conditioning was always okay. Short distances to to the pool or restaurant we found very pleasant. We had all-inclusive. The types of people were what the age mixed and ok. The russians had the majority next to dutch, Italian and German but were never as flashy as often described. read more

    Size of the rooms oK, not new, but ok. Air-conditioning worked. Balcony, safe, telephone. Small tv 2 German channels. Bathroom was quite small and worn, but always clean, no mold or something.

    The restaurant had a great outside area also sufficient for all of the guest was (you could also smoke) the dishes mediterranean, varied and sufficient. However there were for breakfast only one type of wurstu. Cheese in 14 days. But each quantity other things. Unfortunately the filterkaffeautomaten against more modern replaced. Alcohol. Drinks wine beer Raki ouzo and Brandy. Cocktails subject to a charge. Also at the pool bar there were glasses and no plastic cup. Everything was clean.

    As especially friendly are here sunny the waiter and Jane the bar to mention. But also the rest of the team was always make an effort friendly and accommodating to be. English understood everyone here. Since we didn't complaints had I can't comment on that.

    Modest very friendly Italian animation team, water aerobics, yoga, beachvolly and table tennis. Evening entertainment for children afterwards games for adults well... 2 internet places for a fee. Pool 1 time fresh water and 1 times salt water and baby pool all steets clean. Great well maintained garden area. Sufficient loungers by the pool. No reservation necessary. At the beach unfortunately no chairs but clean.

    Directly at the beach with sandy beach. The sea had unfortunately at the private beach very many steinfelsen so that we rather 5 minutes east ran, as there are a wonderful small bay gave where you relaxed baden and sand chairs. 5 minutes away there was a beach with subject to a charge. Loungers and umbrellas. In case you like party or shop was half kilometer to Malia purely. Taxi/ 7 Euro. There is everything there. For the daily need supermarket directly opposite. Excursions after knossos, boat tours on the küstemit snorkeling and barbeque ( was great) and saturday bazaar in Rethymnon( better take the bus line)

The rooms in the main building are perhaps beautifully, in the side building tiny bathroom, many without a view. The staff were nice, the service sometimes left something to be desired. Beverage selection was sufficient, food was very good. Only for breakfast unfortunately only weissbrot and the coffee could be better. The hotel is nice well arranged, the lawn nice with a view of the sea but a bit small and neglected. The access to the beach is great but unfortunately only stones and wind swimming prohibited. To the swimmer you had to a bay further afield, but very nice. ... 2 chairs and umbrella 5 Euro. VI read more

We were in every aspect satisfied with Malia Bay. As to our hotel beach section no loungers were available you could neighboring beach go ( circa 5 Euro on day) or in the hotel by the pool remain. There was a garden with loungers ( free of charge ) with a sea view. Was also very relaxing. Big hotel but clearly. Food was rich, delicious and diversified. Staff deserves a very large praise for their friendliness and diligence around the hour - for all nationalities! Especially Jane - Sunny - Zacharias-Nikos- Ireni. Just about a few to call. The evening ... entertainment we hardly participated since Malias party mile ( around 20 minutes away on foot) was ideal for us. To summarize a top midsize hotel for old and Young. read more

It was a lovely vacation - room 201 and 202 you should avoid respectively reject-a bit noisy next to the reception and main bar. The garden area is very nice... The many seating load to relax a..., whether with a drink, a newspaper, a book... Beautiful offer. read more

The hotel is obviously older origin and lacking the investment needed for the money. But it is the best of it, the staff from the front desk (including Director Mr. account Kostas) to the waiters is very friendly and very accomodating inspite of the peculiar nature of some of the few Russians. Kategorieneinteiung for Greece absolutely justified!! The location outside of Malia is wahrscheinich nothing for young people, the a fuss need, " homey " for six months but absolute top location!!!!!!! read more

On the first day of the tour someone stole jewelry from the room. Staff refused to solve the problem. And shamefully averted gaze. We saw the maid come out of our room while we were at dinner, but management did not even questioned her. General Manager refused to call the police. Be careful! read more

The reviews until now I think very much! We found everything was really great fit! Except for the fact that the distance from the center about four kilometers! The means to walk to most not accessible, unless you are sporting! But there are enough possibilities to explore the city within easy reach (taxi, bus ... ).
