For families with short stay this is a beautiful hotel. The water slides iNSPIRE the children in the pool to splash around. We felt three days there were however only because the children. The head waiter the hotel is a person for. I would this person will be charged cancel, if I his boss would be (unfriendly and arrogant). But a waiter, the Mr Sait we will not forget. A super friendly, nice man. If he would be, we would not day stay longer. One speaks there on the complex only English and Turkish, because only English, Sweden, Norwegian, Dutch ... and Turks are. read more

We can recommend this hotel in any case. All are very friendly-from the front desk to the waiters, cooks and cleaning lady! Unfortunately, very little German, English. The pool is huge. The slides are in the morning and an hour in the afternoon an hour open. A huge fun for large and small. We had a family room, which was large enough! Bathrooms were rather small, but perfectly okay. All rooms have a balcony with a view of the pool. Everything was very clean! Quality of the two pools were very good! Food was very delicious. Always varied and very ... tasty! And entertainment and care program was good; there was also mashed potatoes, very delicious was the! Strong praise to the chef and his crew. Thanks to the entire team of the Aral hotel for a beautiful relaxing vacation. Particularly to emphasize is Mehmet, the head waiter, we even at half past two at night up is, to approve! And the man at the front desk (I don't know the name), the three night over half our bags was weighed. Thank you and kind regards from Duisburg! Conclusion; a British hotel, but I hope, that this hotel (which in my opinion deserved four stars), more German check-in! There it is worthwhile! read more

Unfortunately, there was no elevator and four floors per house, but the staff helped with the bags. The food was good, but in the five days we were there was repeated the dinner repeatedly. The beach was quite far away and there were few shuttle (2x in the morning, twice in the afternoon). Otherwise the staff was very friendly and courteous, we had no problem finding a place at the pool and the Turkish bath at the hotel was very relaxing. I recommend the hotel, if you are not staying there for more than five days. read more

The worst hotel I have seven days. I was pleasantly surprised, because the complex is large and the pool is very clean and big! The woman at the front desk spoke hardly any German but there was also a young gentleman spoke good German but not always there! The room was very good! It was very clean and we had a lot of space! The balcony was nice as well and you could see directly into the pool. The food was horrible! In the morning always the same and it didn't tasted good! For lunch, you already knew what you ... get as a salad! It was mostly the tasted as of the day before! Salad was always the same choice! The staff hardly spoke German and was rather unfriendly except for a few exceptions! For people who want the partying hotel is nothing! There is no disco nearby nothing! You could drink until 23 o 'clock o' clock only nine and not everything was all inclusive only Fanta, coke, water, etc. And beer, vodka, raki you have to pay the rest! The way to the beach is about 1.5 kilometer long walk to and it smells disgusting sites! There was also a bus drives every day but the first bus back from the beach is the first possible 16 o 'clock 10-11 o' clock. I will not refer this hotel again! read more

After all of the good reviews, me and my partner decided to go to the Hotel Aral. In many ways it is good, but there are just as many bad points in my opinion. It may be a good hotel by Turkish standards, but there are parts about the experience that I find very dodgy. I'll try to list the good and bad points: Cons: read more

Maid Service every day Very Clean rooms and swimming pool Every room has a balcony and faces the pool Rooms are a generous size. The music is very loud even in the rooms. All extras (Air Con, Safe & Fridge) are over priced. I think it was 40 for air con and 30 for the safe.. we didn't bother with the fridge but I think it was around 30 Lira. Sometimes couldn't sleep because of the music from the bar.

  • Gastronomy

Food hygiene is terrible. All food (including dinner time) is left uncovered and has flies all over it. Its pretty shocking. Bar is too expensive. We were there for a week and there was only one entertainment night.. which lasted for about an hour or two.

  • Service
    2.0

The Maids are very good and friendly. The day staff are also very friendly. The people in charge of food should learn to cover it and stop flies getting on it and giving people food poisoning. Beware of the Night Porter and Receptionist: Not sure what their names are, or if the receptionist was a manager - but these two put a huge damper on our holiday. They work together to try and get you to give them extra money. When we arrived my girlfriend was forced (I mean it), by the horrible night Porter and Receptionist to have her bag carried to the room. For which the Porter demanded a tip. We have very little money so were very upset that he wouldn't leave us alone. The night porter continued to hassle us about money. Every time we walked past him he would ask us if we could change his English tip money to Turkish Lira. We didn't because he's very dishonest and would try to backhand us. Even after saying no he would still hassle us in a complaining way. On checking out of the hotel around 12am we carried our own bags to the front of the hotel to wait for our bus. The receptionist then came out and started speaking to us. It soon became apparent that he was trying to make us pity him so that we would give him money. He kept eying us and telling us he was 'so tired' and pretended to keep nodding off while sitting beside us. That was uncomfortable enough, but then the Porter came. He turned his back to us and started muttering in Turkish to the receptionist. He then stood for a long time eying us and looking arrogant. The two then wandered off for about 2mins. The night Porter then returned and started playing sound clips of what I assume were his children, again to try and gain our pity (or make us feel guilty). When our bus arrived, my girlfriend protested that she wanted to take her own bag onto the bus - but he snatched it off her. We just got on the bus because he was clearly playing up at this point. It may be some people's idea of ok, but it certainly wasn't to my liking.

  • Sport & Entertainment
    2.5

Main pool is big. All of pool is the same depth (with no deep end) Swimming pool is unusable unless you like blasting club music. Gave us a headache whenever we were down there. The 'water slide' is pretty poor. Only open 2 hours a day and is tiny. Though there is a separate kids pool, they all go into the main pool.

The location is out of the hyped up part of Side, which is probably a good thing There is a huge rubbish dump across the road. Takes too long to get to the beach. Especially because you get hassled by all of the shop keepers and restaurants on the way. Doesn't really have much of interest around, so have to travel to do/ see anything interesting. We went on an excursion and the tour guide only spoke German, because we were the only English people. That was annoying..

There is no entertainment and no activities for the children. Food selection very small, no selection of food for the children, had to beg Mittages's butter for the children, have exceptionally. By the pool are not only the guests of the hotel, but the locals as well against a fee and are not allowed to use the pool slide. The time there is only one coffee cake and a few cookies. It looks very empty for the two tables. read more

I personally think, the hotel Aral therefor, that even in the high season can offer cheap room, very fun. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. In the rooms there are tv, where you can see also German channels. These include satellite per 7.3, RTL, the first, second channel, MTV and Viva. There is an air conditioning system, which is really necessary, in order to be able to sleep in side at all. The pool was big enough and never crowded. Of course, there is also a 40 centimeter high baby pool. There is also a pool, with ... two slides are equipped, but you certainly at the 4-5. Lose the fun. The only thing that bother some is the food. The choice was a bit monotonous. Also (if all inclusive) are only alcoholic beverages, have been produced in Turkey free of charge. All imported alcoholic drinks are available at extra charge. In the immediate vicinity there are some bars and shopping possibilities. For the larger shopping center can be reached in about 15 minutes walk from the main shopping area. Of course, there is also public transport. However one must be said. Who party right next to the hotel, you should choose another hotel or be prepared, each evening leave. read more
