Hotel Lombina^{(3 stars)}

The bedroom was furnished with a higher standard than most 3 star hotels, with crisp sheets and a small paitio that faced the sea and countryside. Could not believe it when we first arrived how large the room and bath were.

We only had breakfast there but was more than enough for any appetite as it was self serve with coffe and juice personally served to you. And the taste and quality could not be beat.

5 star service in a 3 star hotel is a rare thing to find while traveling.......everything was taken care for us, even the pool was cleaned everyday as well, and the halls outside our room with perfectly clean as well. Our rooms were exceptionally clean as well each day.

No sports, but pool was pristine.

In such a wonderful town at your feet, Hotel Lombina gave us such a wonderful place to enjoy it! The staff was more than friendly and gave us great service. The language difference was not a problem as the staff could speak english. The rooms very, very clean and every day the cleaning crew made it new again. It was quiet just like the countryside which was right outside our window, with a view to the sea and the pool. Breakfast was included in the price and it could not have been better, fresh bread each day, luncheon meats and cheese, fresh fruit, great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff was cheery and served us quickly. I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to be treated like a king and queen while staying in Pobra do Cariminal, the fairytale city.

Fantastic views and just a short walk to the beach, and to walk dowtown was only a 15 minute walk which took you through the old neighborhoods with such a feeling of stepping back in time. Also, walking the distance was a treat as you would also walk along the beach with such a sweet view of the town in the distance.
