Twice a year I visit this hotel and the city of Luxor for many years now. Once again I'd like to point out that life in Luxor goes on as usual, and is not to compare with Tahrir Square in Cairo, Port Saïd and Alexandria. So do not hesitate to visit and book for Upper Egypt, where all is at ease. Be sure! As a result of this all hotels in Luxor have unfortunately a low room occupancy. Despite that Pyramisa Isis in Luxor is clean and in order on every spot. Even the dinner buffet is of very good ... quality, despite the small number of guests. As usual there was a warm and sincere welcome for me, by all waiting staff members. May I wish for them and the hotel: more guests = more work! My next booking for Pyramisa Isis Luxor: november 2013, with all pleasure. read more

8. time in this hotel speaks for itself. Older facility but kept in pristine condition. Food was good, but due to less guests was the diversity somewhat limited. Evening live cooking, morning fresh omelets and fresh pancakes. Pool was cold, but with a little bit of movement, it was also. Clean, friendly. It feels like home. read more

Price/quality is perfect and there is enough space overall so that children have choices about being together. 24 hours Medical service near by (Villa Kamal, St Josef st, Luxor). Hotel has its own landing-stage on the Nile with direct access to the West bank. read more

We hesitated to go back after an interruption due to the politically unstable situation, but finally we couldn't wait any longer and now we are very pleased. The hotel is as good as before, with a new manager who continues the good service and attentive care of his predecessor. The staff is always friendly, the reception is very helpful, the rooms are tidy and spacious and the food is good, with considerable effort for variation. Take a room with Nile view, as high as possible the street side is noisy. It is wonderfully relaxing to sit at the pool with ... a nice drink. We take a local taxi outside the hotel to visit the West Bank and the temples, much cheaper than organized trips. We plan to go back in March of next year read more

This Hotel is approximately 20 years old and stands in its own gardens in a beautiful island setting. The public areas are spacious and airy - the plants in the foyer, 'raining' down from the upper floor make an immediate impact on entry. All areas are clean and well-cared for by a team of friendly staff. We were on All-inclusive board, so all food and drink was included up until 10pm.     Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and appropriate ensuite facilities. We had a fridge - useful for keeping bottled water chilled - a necessity if going out on trips! There are also tea and coffee making facilities. The balcony is equipped with two armchairs and a matching table. The room was cleaned every day and met our needs well. There are couple of minor things - wobbly handle on the balcony door, for instance, but these are not a problem, - just mean we could'nt give an 'excellent' rating for the room

    During our stay the main restaurant was not open but the more intimate setting close to the lounge was very nice. There is also a poolside restaurant where we chose to eat at lunchtime sitting outside enjoying the views and watching the birds nearby. The variety of food was good with a mixture of traditional Egyptian dishes and familiar foods, so there is something for everyone. The hotel has a warm, friendly atmosphere which quickly envellops you, making you feel among friends.nothing is too much trouble for anyone!

    The staff are very friendly and willing to meet everyone's needs. The manager, Mr F., has his finger-on-the-pulse and can be seen around the hotel and grounds throughout the day ensuring all goes smoothly, and still finds time to converse with his guests.The shop personel all spoke good English and were very helpful, searching out items of interest to us. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and we overlooked the Nile so spent our evenings on the balcony watching the boats go by and enjoying the views of Aswan.

    There are two pools within the hotel grounds. The large pool has islands that add interest to your swim - 3 times around banana island was our routine! The waiters from the little restaurant provide drinks complete with ice-buckets, and the pool-side staff quickly move sunbeds and provide towels for your group according to your wishes. There are plenty of umbrellas and sunshields around the area if the sun is too strong for you. There is internet access in the public areas of the hotel, around reception and the lounge areas.

    The hotel stands in its own, well-maintained gardens cared for by friendly gardeners who presented us with a flower as we strolled around. The hotel is so situated that it can meet the needs of those who want to chill-out from a busy life-style, but also as a base for those who want to see and do everything. We were a group of 4 friends - 2 first-timers and two 'returnees'. my friend and I did the Temples, markets, Nubian Village,etc whilst our other two friends relaxed by the pool. The hotel runs a ferry across to the city of Aswan - short boat-ride - so you really can choose how to spend your time. There is also an in-house tour operator should you wish to explore further.

We spend beautiful day in this hotel. The whole staff was very friendly and we felt very good. Breakfast buffet could be better - evenings and from the hotel was very good a restaurant would be a great place, and it would lots of people in the hotel for dinner -the place would be yes available and the atmosphere on nilufer is unique. Good, reasonably priced and secured organization of our excursions. Management of the hotel is approachable and very efficient and friendly. read more

Just returned from a week long stay at the ISIS Hotel Luxor (15-22 Aug 12) The staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble, restaurant staff always attentive, pool staff were friendly and always willing to help. There were about 80 guests in a hotel that holds 800 but everyone was upbeat and made our holiday memorable. Thanks to Ahmed at the Bar and Mustaffa around the pool (Sorry about the spelling) Ok staff to guest ratio was high so you expect to have good service, but from the Birthday cake on arrival in the restaurant to the final drink at ... the bar on departure we cant really fault the hotel or the staff. The hotel itself was clean and spacious, no smells or broken furniture, we had a nile view with large veranda on the 2nd floor. Go and see for yourself, there was no threat in Luxor itself, the balloon rides are cheap and we can all recommend the quad biking !! Molly who is 11, thought it was great. You make the best of what you have. read more

For our first time in Egypt, thanks to the hotel, we can say it was successful! The food was excellent, the rooms were very clean and the staff was really kind! The view we had from our room was really beautiful, the view on the Nile was not comparable and we even saw Ibises, those wonderful birds. What else to say? The staff were great, could not do enough for the family. If you had a problem it was sorted there and then. The pool staff were first class , no waiting around, you could pick your spot and it would be ready in the morning for the rest of the holiday. read more

    Very good service of Guestrelation service in the hotel...speaks even japanees! Language is not a problem, englisch, a bit german and some a bit french. Rooms are clean, every day clean towels... Whatever you wish....ask them and they will do what they can!

large, hotel come into the years, definitely not worth 5 stars. The majority of the guests are passing through either to communicate in other languages or as we on the trip to Aswan. But also if it is an older hotel, it is worth vacuum cleaner, water and detergent. In our rooms were still some hairs from the previous tenant, the towels were gray and chairs in the room you couldn't do without collapse. read more
