Very pleasantly surprised. The standard is really high considering the hotel is not expensive. Rooms were clean and spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. There was a great variety of food especially fantastic vegan and vegetarian choices which we were grateful for. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we've enjoyed our stay very much and will be back. read more

Great holidays in Rethymno Residence with friendly staff, specialty at the reseception, nice and very clean room, many activities day and night. Unfortunately the beach is not very good with a lot of rocks. Burt the beach is not responsibility of Rethymno Residence. Also their are a lot of food burying day and night with big variety of hot and cold dishes read more

Top is the kettle in the room. The food in the hotel is lowest drawer. Who surrounding taverns in town would like to support or Fastenurlaub plans, the Rethymnon residence book, after the 2. evening on the hotel meal declined. The staff discussed but is not. To 5 of 8 days with pressure from the travel guide at least the warm water repaired. read more

The whole hotel with its wonderful Gardens and the three pools were for us a wonderful setting for a relaxing vacation. Great hotel complex with friendly staff and very nice hotel manager George the always the well-being of the guest endeavors is. The holiday was beautiful! Great value for money. We spend two weeks in July. It was a great experience with great people. Even Greece is under financial difficulties, we haven't see anything of this. We suggest everyone to visit Crete and stay in Rethymno. read more

The staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful, also in case of any problems, not the hotel itself concern. Tips and information to originals become competent said. Hotel, room and restaurant are very clean and well cared for. Unfortunately the certain guests not from, ' like at home' to behavior and their trash to leave, which by the friendly staff fast is quashed. If you like to in the pool swimming, one is with three pools more than enough blessed. The sea is by the hotel located opposite easy to reach. Bathing shoe are recommendable, as slabs in ... the sea are. For children is a playground and a 'kids club' available, where German speaking staff the little lovingly care. The food is tastefully and diverse. read more

Basically you will have to get on extremely bad reviews be surprised. You shouldn't forget, that the hotel a three stars house and in this category for sure is unparalleled, even if it is not for luxury is. The staff is very obliging and friendly, the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day and the food is at variety and quality much better than the 3-star statements. The hotel we have as a basis to visit of west crete and weren't dissapointed. Right on the hotel the public bus stops, the for 1,20 Euro/ person in 15 minutes to Rethymnon ... drives, which in our opinion the most beautiful city the island is (albeit with less than 30000 inhabitants compact). Also are popular destinations, like for instance the samaria gorge and the dream beach of elafonissi with local organizers to book and with a rental car or bus tour within at the latest 2 hours to reach. The beach is, as almost the entire north coast right pebbly and should also only with beach shoes use. The location of the hotel is for package tourists, i think, alright. Strange for us was the diversity at shopping on furs, which many guests the former ussr sachets. We were satisfied and will probably stay there again. Especially also, because the always friendly and auskunftfreudige manager George announced the hotel complex clearly to expand and modernise. read more

I spent in the hotel 2 weeks and during all this time I hadn`t any problem. The staff was very friendly, the territory nice and clean, 2 swimming-pools, big and bright room. It was things have changed; now a German speaking staff member, which from time to time is not bad. A nice hotel, ideal location for unternehmungsluste families, who like to go on excursions. It is a mystery to me, as far as the people always have to complain. We would stay there again. read more

The service and friendliness is amazing. The staff were so helpful in every way possible. The rooms were clean and got cleaned every day including new sheets etc. Two pool areas. I would recommend this place considering price and helpfulness and kindness of the staff. Safe travels read more

The holiday was beautiful! The service and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Children are welcome! Front desk staff were very helpful and interested. Food was good and varied. The hotel was neat and clean and the room service well and quickly. The kids and we loved it and we will definitely go back there again! read more

We stayed on a half board basis and even though we arrived quite late at night we found a cold meal had been left in our room for us which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. The Hotel is very clean with staff all day attending to the gardens, pool as well as the normal room services. The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you. The other guests were a mixture of Germans, French, Danish and British. read more

    The room was of good size with a very nice balcony and very clean. The whole Hotel looks fresh with lovely gardens.

    There was a good selection of different cuisines catering for most tastes. Nothing was repeated during the week that we were there and again the food was of good quality. The restaurant was always spotless and well organised. There is a bar by the pool and also in the loung area where there is a good selection of drinks as well as tea and coffee available.

    There are two pools. One caters for families with young children and the other is more for the adults. The beach is mostly sand with plenty of sunbeds which cost for two sunbeds and an umbrella €5 per day. The sea is very clear and on the edge there are plenty of rock pools. There is internet access at the hotel for €1 per 15mins.

    Very easy to get to the beach, just across the road and your there!! There are plenty of Taverna's and restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel and the main town is a short bus ride away with many little streets and plenty of shops. There are boat trips and the yellow train which offers may different trips. We went on the train to a local Monastery and visited a local village which was an enjoyable morning.
