Hotel Prima Galil Tiberias^{(3 stars)}

The room was clean, and that was all. The walls seemed to be very thin, so you hear the conversations from the neighboring rooms could hear could. The furniture was functional: beds, two bedside tables, seating and a longitudinal wall-mounted table, built-in closets, a corkboard with posters about the trip possibilities on the sea of galilee, that was it already. The bathroom was small, at least clean, but apart from that in a rather worn condition. A soil cloth for the shower missing regularly. Otherwise worked only little. There was a modern flat screen tv, the remote control didn't work perfect, so that you from the programs not-and herschalten could. There was thus only one programme, in other words 'national geographic', and that was it. A telephone was available, does not work, because the cable from the wall was made. There is no need to mention, that these shortcomings despite display at the front desk up to our check out not been remedied.

In the hotel there are a restaurant, both the breakfast, as well as the dinner in buffet form are offered. The kosher speiseregeln observed, which for example means, that it in the morning no meat (so no sausage ) and in the evening no dairy products are offered. The buffet was %blank% in the morning, as also in the evening very plentiful. In the morning there are bread, cheese and salads also cakes. The salads you would go through with us rather in the evening offer, but nothing changes, that you very tasty are. Coffee and tea is offered, on public holidays or at the sabbath there is no Cappuccino or espresso, because no fire cannot be made. Also during dinner there was a very rich buffet with various sorts of meat (beef, chicken, no pork). Apart from the fact, that one around beverages to fight, if you are expecting more than water will, you could about the food not complain. It was varied and tasty. A huge salad buffet was offered every evening. The dessert buffet was alluring good. A drinks menu was not lived. Probably stopped the service staff such a for redundant In the hotel there is also a bar, but you had the feeling, that it rather unusual was, there drinks to consume. Very often the bar was not at all personnel occupied. Very many seats there was not.

The hotel you can only as a service desert call. What we in the four days of our stay have experienced here, is hard to believe and only difficult with humor to watch. The staff and front desk staff were friendly, but overall very good. When we checked in, we had the feeling, this employee the first time in their lives a hotelvoucher looked. She asked us promptly, if we wanted to keep. The importance of the vouchers was your obviously completely unclear. With the tour operator booked half board was this girl also overtaxed. The jewish new year was the hotel not able, a table for dinner to offer, and that is why the next door Hotel Prima 2, which the same chain, 'diverted'. There the food the quality and taste of the food had, as in the Hotel Prima galil, we had no reason, this approach to criticize. However, was the behavior of the service staff also in this case more than strange. It was explained to us, if we a dinner we wanted, we would in the neighboring hotel.

The only activities of the hotel is a relatively small pool, to the one in the first floor entrance can make. Otherwise there was in the hotel no entertainment possibilities (see bar). As already mentioned, worked the two computer in the entrance area at the time of our stay.

The building is a high rise with 14 floors. All in all, this building as a functional construction, and this also has an impact on the atmosphere in the whole hotel from. At the time of our stay were these all from Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Poland, Russia). At the beginning of our stay was the jewish new year instead, and on the occasion of this bank holiday were also many isrälis guest in the hotel. This influx of israeli nationals is however only on the holidays limited.

The hotel is located in the city of tiberias, the largest on the sea of galilee is, and above the lake on a hill. The city tiberias lies mostly on a hill. By car the lakeshore in 5 minutes. There is also the business center. On foot you will at least 20 minutes for a way need. The hotel is located in the middle of a residential area, with very many orthodox jews live. There are also various versammlungsorte for you. Buses exist, but were not used by us, because we a rental car had. The inscriptions on the buses are all in hebrew language. During the jewish neujahrsfestes were parking in the hotel area extremely tight. This suddenly changed, than the new year to end and was the hotel guests from israel left. Nearby exist smaller shops, in which you foods or beverages. Different restaurants are on the main street. The business center is located downhill in the direction lakeshore. A ' nightlife ' we could not find.
