We were 19 days lawana and were from the start welcomed in a friendly manner.
The room was brilliant nationaltypically furnished (somewhat hard mattresses but apparently in Thailand normal) safety deposit box, shower, kettle and so on. Bungalow number 108 in lilac. Was every day super clean, towels were changed all exemplary.
The staff very friendly.
Some flaws there are but nevertheless:
Unfortunately the hotel was always busy and unfortunately, only 40 are there for 90 guests this meant either early around 6 couch occupied (russian public has anyway made) and hope that the couch after the breakfast still there. ...
The beach in bophut is unfortunately very narrow and very steep.
The breakfast was completely normal for three stars even dark wholemeal bread there was, unfortunately after 10 days the cereals empty and from then there were only frosties ☺
Our summary for short stays without bath vacation suitably. For long tourists like us however only in the low season recommendable.
Tips: fisherman's village at the friday evening visit the night market is really great.
Scooter hire and itself the island explore (150-200 Bath/ day)
To eat absolutely times to addy siam cooking class and restaurant. Just out of the hotel left the road down approximately 400 meters on the other side of the road. (after the 3 massage parlours but before the gas station) there was at least still original thai cuisine not only chinese as almost everywhere.
Steak from the hotel to the right until nearly after mänam on the street located opposite bamboo under german leadership and german chef at the same time the boss is.
Exactly opposite the bamboo is a small dark 'kascheme' where many thais food cooks the 'mama san' since there is really thai but caution everything was awfully spicy. read more

A beautiful small complex in the tropical garden – as already often described it was.
Towels are changed every day.
The sea a bit cloudy and uninviting for snorkelling
The area is interesting and diverse, the resort very quiet.
The staff were always pleasant and very helpful.
We would book it again any time. read more

One reaches the lawana directly at the busy street and is first shocked, because the front desk really not nice and directly on the street is. The bungalows are small, colorful. The breakfast was not very tasty. The pool nice, too few beach chairs, many older German tourist in the hotel. The beach was well. Evenings it is beautifully in the fisherman's village, the about minutes over the beach to reach is. It was the first and last time in lawana. read more

We had a premier garden bungalow. It gives at the resort not really things to criticize, besides the food perhaps. Oily, warmed up for Thailandunterirdisch. It is an average resort, almost like in Egypt. The bungalows are actually cheap, the food in the restaurant then again expensive. Somewhat untransparent. How much you really pay remains unclear. Typically Thai is something else as this resort. If you like comfortable and European is here surely in good hands, for all other then perhaps rather what smaller in the place. From there, you could also great food go! read more

You can wonderful good relaxation, the staff are very friendly, the beach is in the immediate proximity, the loungers free of charge available and always had plenty of space.
Our tip is the bungalow with private pool-is really beautiful!

The lawana resort is located on a quiet beach in the less touristic field bo phut. The complex is lovely planted by tropical plants and in between rows the bungalows. From the inside they are colorfully tiled, cozy and nicely spacious. Unfortunately you have the blinds before the windows lower, because otherwise every corridors can, because the bungalows are very close to together are. Every day there is free a new bottle of water per person (which we did not know and as a precaution asked, because you never know, if you at the end pay should!). The breakfast there ... are in the restaurant next to the pool with a view of the sea. The food is classic German/English, no wide choice and was rather boring, if one remains longer. Eggs will make freshly prepared! The staff are always very friendly and speaks English, also at the front desk one understands nothing other! At the pool and the beach there was always a free beach chair and the free of charge, in August so not a problem.-) very pleasant I found, that every day by the pool someone with fresh fruit passed and you could take. For children is unfortunately not much, merely a swing and a rope encircling pipe over the pool there are for playing. You can also directly at the beach or by the pool a massage. For excursions on own fist I rate a moped hire. The costs 200 Bhat (5 Euro per day) and is much reasonably priced as with the taxi or shared taxi to drive. A loan directly next to the hotel entrance. Postcards, by the way at reception abgegebn are! To stroll in the evening we recommend 'fisherman's village', the in 10 to 15 minutes hike to reach is. The lawana resort I can recommend with a good conscience, as we had a nice holiday! All the, quiet and relaxed like are here just perfect. read more

Great hotel directly on the quiet beach! The hotel is on Bo phut beach-a smaller beach, the during the day very quiet and bars and pub accommodates. The water is not so great as the Lamai or Laweng beach however therefor is much qweniger Los. The hotel is very down to earth, clean and tidy. The rooms ( hi garden deluxe bungalow) are very friendly furnished, very clean, with AC and a well-maintained large bathroom. Coffee and tea are free, fridge is available. The pool area is pleasant and chairs on the beach are free of charge and sufficiently available. ... The breakfast is very european and really great! This hotel is for a few relaxing days at the beach for those seeking tranquillity really very recommendable! ( breakfast, if possible directly book!) read more

We were only one night in the hotel and repented this. We have the cheapest room variant selected and afterwards a little concerned, whether the quality of the room. Hardly arrived we were completely positively surprised! The room is in a very beautiful, lively style. Brand new tv, unfortunately a safe for which you have to pay. Breakfast: little choice, small minimum buffet - in this local form better.
Pool: totally overchlorined, beautiful location - but the furnishing has better Times.
There were beach towels, only be changed if this in the bath lie or if you the service staff mobilised.
Hotel is feast in German hand, with some Russian-speaking guests. Excursions you can book in the hotel - price you should however renegotiate!. The complex is quite nicely arranged, but it has its best times already behind itself! read more

We were for a stopover in Koh Samui. Bo phut is a very nice and rather calmer beach. Since we in the low season were there, it was, as well as something quiet. At the beach you can also get massages. Massage with a sea view! The breakfast was more than adequate. Evenings we always went to the Fishermans Viilage gone, where a variety of restaurants gives. On foot in about 10 minutes to reach. Our bungalow was great and very clean. The laundry taken into account, what also worked well. read more

The lawana resort without can easily be recommended. Even if we problem with arrival had, this is not the problem of the hotel or of the bungalows. The bungalows are very close together, but you had the possibility seine privacy with appropriate blinds etc. It did not bother us. We had the bungalow 117 this was really great. The beach and the pool were brilliant. Very clean and especially were always enough loungers available and this in the time of vacation at Easter. The review for the free time possibility with 5 stars refers to the massages directly at the ... pool. This we can really recommend. One is a full hour and more massaged. This is relaxation and vacation relaxation. Regarding food is really something for everyone. Fresh fruit there are directly at the beach for little Baht. Highly recommendable.
Tip for the evening: if someone variety for the food and German kitchen would, he can about 1 kilometers away in the bamboo bar Matthias Bück (known from Goodbye Germany, the emigrant) really good to eat. Truthfully, I better eaten as in certain places in Germany. So also recommendable nonetheless.
Basically one could say, that the lawana resort is very recommendable and we will for certain come back. read more

Lawana. Also very good for lump-sum holidayers. We were backpacker. The provisional visit was very good. Wishes are taken into account and allows. Restaurant is more expensive than the nachbarresorts. Dinner directly at the beach, then chill out on riesekissen with cocktails at happy hour prices (circa 2,50 Euro/ cocktail). Entertainment at the beach more than good. On the chairs on the beach is close to each other, as it is by the pool much nicer. All of the beach chairs had umbrellas inclusive. The bungalows are situated close to each other, one must the blinds already close, if ... you would like to be. The orchid garden is lovely and well maintained. During the next trip to koh samui, we will definitely again a few days there. read more

The Lawana Resort is a pure bungalow area. The single bungalows are in a beautiful green, well-kept garden area integrated. The condition the complex is good-everything clean and tidy. Unfortunately the bungalows so constructed, that you on the terrace little privacy the opposite or adjacent bungalow you could directly on the terrace look-as well as the footpaths directly at of the terrace past.
Cleanliness on the whole area of the hotel very good.
We had only booked breakfast in Thailand more than adequate is.
In the hotel many Germans -mainly couples in the age between 30 and 50.
A swimming ... pool for children there is on the complex not.
A playground with a seasaw and swing is available, but not really very welcoming appears. read more

The room was great. Without a doubt! You can't complain about!
The bungalows themselves were very closely built. You could go to the other in the windows. (If not down blinds)
The pool was in a good shape!
The breakfast buffet was large and varied!
In the evening cocktails can forget it! Save the money!
Unfortunately, the beach was very coarse and not very nice, because it is at this point by hundreds of cheap plastic chairs is. The fisherman's village (which is very nice) you would walk around 20 minutes. There is also the closest restaurants, massage salons and ... supermarkets.
The restaurants are not suitable for the budget! But super delicious! read more

Very friendly staff, small repair in the bathroom within five minutes erl., breakfast very good, cleanliness was excellent, no ' bugs 'in the room, except for the obligatory Gecko, the US has preserved mosquito bites. Outside the 'Bungaqlows constantly wuseln' understated workers in the hallways and rooms towards. The pool wasn't needed, the pool was tiny. Size of room otherwise was adequate, not too many pilot possibilities, great mattresses (rather hard) and clean. General pool is clean and big enough, it will be XXL beanbags for the beach, in addition to the pool chairs, offered. These will be, where appropriate ..., thrown in the pool, what a great fun, better than any other air mattress. Drink prices Okay, food in the street cheaper. Supermarkets (family Mart) and two large shopping center nearby. All in all a superb Hotel, which has at least one more star rating. read more

Great price/performance ratio!
Relaxing resort with beautiful tropical garden with villas in beach club totally quiet bay! The cottages are air-conditioned and the rooms separated from the bathroom. Small Vorterrasse with two chairs.
Very clean, friendly staff! Open-air restaurant, in the evening tables on the sandy beach. The buffet breakfast is rather easier, but egg dishes were freshly prepared.
Other food was very good and very cheap! Also the cocktails were great and cheap!
Massage services next door on the beach and very good with 300 Baht per hour really cheap!
We have stayed at this hotel for the second ... time (before 2004) and it is not worn, but everything was well maintained and kept clean!
We love to stay there again! read more
