Air conditioning, tv, wi-fi on the whole area, safe. Cleanliness was excellent.

Staff in the restaurant was also very friendly everyone knew our name. You will pampered as a king! There is every day a buffet. Issue and the dishes change daily. ( for example bbq evening, pirates evening seafood, etc.) Traditional Sri Lanka food with much curry is however every day available. The dishes were always optically very beautifully prepared.

Very friendly front desk. Every employee spoke very good English and very many German too! The room was always perfectly cleaned it wasn't missing anything. Every day evenings came the staff again has the mini bar refilled and personally asked, if everything was okay. Daily there was also for the wanted a entertainment program, cricket waterpolo, dance& music

There is on saturday a disco the wave Sport games water polo and so on you can do if you want A fitness room there was, this but I didn't use it. Volleyball court and so on Loungers with editions are sufficiently available. It is located in a wündeschönen 'palmenwald' The pool is huge and cleaned daily. Here, the tiles be renewed.

Hotel lies some meters behind the main street and behind local residential street. At the start you are starled by briefly if you through the alley but then takes you in paradise! Excursions could in the hotel or at the ' beach boys' are booked. You will right at the hotel fetched ( pünkltich to the minute!)

On the 1st view attractive room. At closer inspection shows a strong need to be renovated, particularly in the bathroom. To 1 night was the room changed, the in need of renovation condition is similar, merely was the bathtub the floor wasn't so broken. Temperature of the airconditioning could not be regulated. Both rooms had in no case 5 stars! The standard room ('deluxe') are all about 25-30 square meters large and feel commodious. All of the rooms are facing the sea and are provided with also a good-sized balcony// terrace with table and chairs. The furniture is practical, including a couch and coffee table. Layout of the room (323) - air conditioning (always, pleasant silent) -Ceiling fan (rusty and noisy; could therefore not be used) TV (various domestic and into. Channels. German program: DW TV Asia) - kettle with always again filled supply of tea and coffee - fridge = mini bar -in-room safe, free use telephone anti-mosquito device-electrical( daily renovation the rumours tablets) Furthermore, there were every day two 0.5 liter bottles of water brought to our room. the bathroom is right commodious, with washbasin, bathtub, toilet, Clothes line and hair dryer. The hair dryer was also an outlet, as you from GermanyEurope knows, so that one definitely not an adapter required. the room and there were also other guests in our opinion-is decent and 'function Abel', but in no way expectations 5 star hotel offering many facilities and comforts an. Everything was quite old and'shabby'. The rooms the offer impression a 'investment back'. all in all but we were however content, especially, because everything worked, in particular the air conditioning was great and by the height of the ceiling of the room eveningsas far as night cooled, that it could be turned off to sleep. It's also important to mention, that we did not have any'creatures' or mosquitoes in the room and that they are not clairaudient.

The hotel has a large hall (inside: fully air-conditioned; there is also an outdoor areas) for thebooked' dishes, and a large area, where you 24 hours drinks and food from the menu (outside the reservation or as all inclusive performance) can be. About out there is a bar, a nightclub and a pool bar, everything is nicely decorated. we had bed and breakfast and in many nights, because of the lack of possibilities in wadduwa, in the hotel a la carte eaten. the breakfast buffet was very rich and offers a variety of local dishes( meatand fish Curries, Dhal, Hopper, vegetables, Curd and so on), fresh fruit (pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, bananas, Dates and so on), as well as 'classic Elements ', as a wide selection of bread (baguette, croissants, toast and so on), Sweets( cakes, Muffins, etc.), bacon, eggs in all variations, tomatoes, salad, breakfast cereal (corn flakes, muesli etc.), jam (under other wood apple jam as well) and for all, the not at all without a small selection of sausage and cheese. Parts of the package vary daily. Drinks: coffee, tea, milk, various juices or Lassies. Freshly squeezed. we have always been more locals things (you used to pretty darn easy access to a morning super sharp curry...), as well as fresh fruit eaten. the menu of the La carte restaurants offers a relatively big selection both local( especially Curries), as well as 'international' dishes (steaks, seafood, fish, vegetarian, pasta and so on). The quality of the dishes, we eaten have, was very good and was characterised by a very creative chef. Especially recommendable are very authentic and curry dishes-we stayed in Sri Lanka to other places so some of these type of food eaten, but nowhere they were so varied and somehow'exotic' as in the blue water. the prices are a bit higher than in the 'average', however the quality is outstanding. We had throughout the stay no stomach/intestinalproblems. The all inclusive offer seemed very decent to (all in buffet form, theme, etc.). tip: 2-3 weeks in those blue water hotel should, because of lack of dining supply of environment, directly from home half board book, which all in all probably cheaper, as often in the hotel having regard to food menu

The numerous staff the hotel is very friendly, helpful and we also said never tip or similar. All of them spoke very good English, some even German. the rooms were daily completely cleaned, everything was very clean. The hotel features many comfort: 24 hour-à la carte restaurant very reasonably priced and fast laundry service bar/nightclub (not open every evening) -large, beautiful pool area with complimentary beach chairs/towel service pool bar spa( massages etc.) - fitness room (free of charge; but not very appealing) -Chess and table tennis are free of charge (figures/balls/ Rackets are complimentary available) -the use the squash and tennis courts is available for a (extremely small) price - daily strict entertainment/entertainment program (pool gymnastics, beach volleyball, beach run and evenings live music) - 'shop-arcade' (jeweller, souvenir shop, beauty salon) on complaints they reacted immediately, the staff are also very uncomplicated, for example you can at the front desk free make phone calls, etc.

The hotel offers a very large recreation center. This is essentially a large lawn with coconut palms, other tropical plants, a large and interesting designed pool, as well as further water expanses. The coconut trees are shade, especially in the comparisons to sun screens, very pleasant and give certain 'Tropical feeling'. In wadduwa there are quite a few, mainly middle of tour operators. the sports facilities of the hotel I mentioned in the chapter 'service' already, outside there-Trivandrum massages, which the hotel offers, however to prices almost means European level (tip: directly opposite from the hotel there is a supplier). the hotel offers in the lobby two Internet computer, you could use for free. There are also Wi-Fi, however rude high prices (Billing). evenings there was always live music of daily changing band. The quality was very different, of ' is not at all'to' very good ', everything was there. Once we experienced in the hotel a beautiful traditional dance performance, it is also, at least once weekly a Bull past, on which one( eventual even free) riding.

The hotel is located on the west coast in the middle a large park (especially the Coconut Palm). It is a category five star hotel and its own with the label 'great hotels of the world' excellent. It is a classic 'hotel', as well as because of various meeting and banqueting halls for meetings or celebrations to use. the blue water consists of a longish hotel complex with 100 rooms, exclusively with a view of the sea, and a famous Sri Lanka niches architects in a cubist-Functional style. It is up 3 stories high and matched his immediate environment. The condition of the area was very well maintained, although it certainly is not new. the hotel offers all categories: only night, with breakfast, half board and all inclusive. the guest Structure during our stay right in many European tourist: German, Russians, English, Belgians, Swiss, Finns under other, to Sri Lanka niche guests. the hotel lies immediate the pretty deserted beach of the Indian ocean and is an integral part of the town of wadduwa, about 30 kilometer south of Colombo and about 60 kilometer away from international airport CMB is located. A few meters from the hotel away inland runs along the railway line Colombo- Matara. You need however no concerns about noise to train: on the one hand, it will, in the comparisons to European Routes, of relatively few trains traffic, to other are both the rooms, as well as the pool and all the main areas of the hotel facing the ocean floors, so that you really can't hear. the main street is about 200 meters away from the hotel, there is a bus station with the connection to the center in wadduwa, to kalutara (next larger city), Colombo and Galle. in a few hundred meters away there are train stations, from there you can reach nearly all villages on the west and south-west coast between Colombo and about 3-4 kilometer away. Matara (North) with a higher dura panaroma train station: there were a lot more and faster trains, in order for example after Colombo or bile to drive. the place is typical for wadduwa Sri Lanka niche proportions: Left and right of the lively main street rows shops and banks, the townscape is, apart from Temples or similar, more ugly. There were various of daily need, a market, supermarket, Clothing, etc. we had the feeling, that very few people to leave the hotel seem, so that you in wadduwa and elsewhere, in contrast for example to destinations in Europe, hardly any tourists see, accordingly is the offer targeted on this. Practical conclusion is for example the fact that in wadduwa there hardly restaurants is. As the locals but almost all very well know, speak English and helpful are, this issue is not too wild. There is a bar and two restaurants. we had all-inclusive and found the food really great and diverse. wide choice -everyone could find something here.

staff were very accommodating and friendly-also without tip. At the conclusion the vacation only the tips. All spoke English, a few German. child care I didn't see any. With a problem in the bathroom was the housekeeper within a half hour before spot 10 minutes later came the craftsmen. For the promised bathrobe we had to however 2 days wait.

The drive to the airport took between 1 and 1/ 2 2,5 hours Is directly at the beach, not crowded-rather empty. the hotel lies off the beaten track from other hotels. purchaseand possibility the entertainment are not really available. excursions we have at the beach with Sumi- can only be recommended!
