Over the cleanliness we could we didn't complain. It was every day well cleaned. But we found the whole furniture was very dated. In the hotel there was only all-inclusive to food there was something for everyone. In other words, 2009 at ... the hotel much of its won. The whole service was very good durchstruckturiert. Every 2. day found draußenthemenbüfetts and the everything was very tasty and lovingly arranged. Which we thought was very bad was were the beverages at of the pool bar. It was never a watch. This gave it only on demand and then it was hard to read. Perhaps made the too much work. There was in the hotel travelers from lots of different nations. Thus everything mixed, which wasn't bad. Particularly shocking we found this many pensioners. We felt like in the clinic, wheelchairs, rollators, lots of old people with sprags or which it very hard to leave this heat to face.     Rooms were very spartan. Furniture is a little dated. I had already stated above.     The friendliness all staff is to be pointed out. Many languages german, so there was absolutely no problems communicating. Room cleaning was to our satisfaction. There there are no faults.     The hotel is location wise very good, you are at one of the most beautiful beach sections. You can very nice beach walks. We are always in the sister hotel Diane sea resort gone, there was always very tasty cocktails and otherwise us this hotel of all better. Excursions we only took one halbtagstour to Mombasa. Were very dissapointed, for a lot of money. Everything in the quick walkthrough, we would have the market of intensive look at. But we had in the wood craver village, where we spent most of our time spent, because buy was actually mainly on the wood craver village. But we wanted to buy nothing, so we had to as long as persevere until the guide thought it is further. Shopping, night life and restaurants we didn't use.

    The hotel is directly at the sandy, 10 kilometer long beach. But it is relatively clean and the garden is well maintained. We were satisfied. In the first week stock the hotel to 95% german tourists-average age 55 +. We have however exactly the peace and quiet found, the we also looked for. In the 2. week is the average age dwindled as some families with children arrived. Also are many other nationalities flown in-british, swiss, austrians, frenchmen and italians. ... With the food there are no faults, we have always found something delicious. For the fresh fruit there are 10 stars! In the large and whole we were with the 3.5 stars very satisfied, our expectations were fully met. We will come definitely again!-) read more

    The hotel lies about an hour away from airport. The running time varies depending on the waiting time at the ferry. In the hotel there were small stores, but we found there was often the sign 'closed' as an open door. Everything we needed, we also at the beach received. The Diani sea lodge could with a view of the ambience, the buildings and the garden with old palm trees, a gem of a place to be. Clouded stay from the incompetence of the staff, especially, during the holidays, for example during the new year's eve feast (much staff, the mutually disabled). If the many pensioners (85%),the very annoying beach boys, stinky towels and the strong in need of renovation room not disturb, here be comfortable. The location is brilliant, you can get everywhere. The hotel would have to urgently renovated. The food was unusually good, had worse expected. Taste and variety were good. The staff and the service were also good. Very friendly in the restaurant! Almost everyone expects/requires a tip, starting at prior at the airport until the way back, but in the hotel rather discreet and unobtrusive. The long term have their fixed seats, no chance as to ... get a seat. The strong smelling towels are just disgusting! -the beach towels were ok without odor. We also have a 4-day safari (amboseli, tsavo east/west)-just great! Stayed at the Kerstin booked (if interested, just ask )-great price, great lodges. When TUI or so that is really expensive. read more

Because we already the 2 time in this hotel were, had a opposite the last times nothing changed, but we were nevertheless fully satisfied. For the food it always had plenty of choice, the staff were very accommodating (even without giving any tip). Because of the winter will be very much dauerurlauber, especially older people, in the hotel are, we knew many and had immediately resume contacts. But also younger tourist find fast connection. In the rooms not much done, but we only stayed in and that is enough completely. The value for money is nor reasonable therefore we will ... go again next year and we can also recommend it. read more

Better than expected With the german pensioners and above all the german regular guests we found disturbing. The lead on as they had been the hotel leased. Embarrassing. The best places on the lawn you for the duration of your stay paid, although they usually are not present. The staff in the hotel really is very friendly and hard-working. Very good food- however it must in Kenya definitely not the beef rolls with dumplings are (see above, german clientele). Whom that does not disturb and also not, that the rooms really very simple are, the water in the lines very ... salty and the towels really stink, the a excellent holiday spend. Beachboys not bad for us. The guys need the money! We were with weight-booked at the beach when Jonathan- completely okay) in masai Mara the fig tree camp. Beautiful. First it seemed a bit small before, but you have to get over the layout the hotel be clear. The most rooms lie as it were before the front desk. I had first a single room #83, called 'superior single', whereby the name 'superior' really is wrong. The room was in the back bungalowrund between 2 other bungalows wedged, so that it absolutely was dark. This was a 2-floor complex directly opposite, so that one always the impression had, it could someone from gge on herin look, so i then the curtains pulled, what the whole even darker made. Furthermore ... the room was absolutely small and had no closed closet, but only an open holzregal and the ac could not be adjusted, but one had at the front desk answer, if it cooler to have wanted. I asked at the front desk to another, brighter, secluded room, but you put off me first, it is full (christmas/new year's eve). To consultation with the guide, but on the same day, interceded you well as strong, that i the next morning move could. I got a free upgrade to a double room # 141 in another bungalowquarree, side to the front desk and much more near to the beach. It was bigger, brighter and had a massive shower bath. Tvs in any room, there is a tv-room, but mostly the entertainment team or the children sat and soccer looked. The team you have questions, if you channel to have would like. But who wants to tv see with so much entertainment from the hotel. The staff were exceedingly friendly, even spoke very good german and of course also english. The food in buffet-the form was absolutely delicious and varationsreich. The soup is served, for the rest you serve yourself at the buffet. The new year's buffet had been completely in the garden developed, and also otherwise was the dinner some male nice on the terrace prepared and nicely decorated. Furthermore, there was a live band, the moderate music played and the at the dinner subsequent events were always nice and diverse. The lifeauftritte, einheimischentänze, were against shortly after 22 o'clock stopped, so that no further noise created. At 2 days also traders to the hotel and their schnitzharbeiten in the garden from, which one could buy. The garden with the chairs is extensive enough and you will find wonderful shade under the many palms, the in the garden leave are. Liked a lot also the concept, that mineral water or drinks generally not plastic bottles has been spent, with the instruction, that it in Kenya just no separation, and the bottles otherwise in the area float around. You can in any case enough drinks in 0.3 liter cups at the bar get. In the afternoon from 16-17 pm on the terrace always nice coffee- and tea-hour with delicious even baked cakes and pastry. Behind the bar there is a small dive centre, where you can register. You are then in the morning at the front desk from tauchbus picked up and the actual basis 5 minutes away brought, where you equipment leave of where you are on the boat goes. There are 2 dives in the morning at 2 different places and is at 14 o'clock back. The tauchstellen were really nice and there was a lot to see. For me the stay was very relaxing-if you are traveling from the loud german regular guests apart, the a liegestuhlburg buildings and behaved, as if they were alone in the garden! So, only really short. We had 3.5 stars no large expectations. These were however all exceeded. We felt very much at ease in this hotel. Tourist the low choice at the breakfast, allegedly incompetent employee as well as sometimes musty smelling towels etc. Weight should perhaps no long-haul journey and not at all to Kenya undertake. We had a superior family room, which big enough was. The cleaning was excellent, small faults ( a defective shower head, not existing fan in the children's room) were eliminated immediately. Still to mention is the location of the hotel. Simply great on ... one of the most beautiful beach sections of the Diani. And a word about the beach boys. The boys deserve this job their livelihood. Not interest in entertainment or shops downstairs always a friendly -no thank you-. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience. And if you are still on the outrageous high buchungspreise excited, should its displeasure with the tour operator or airline companies ventilate. The hotels receive the lowest quantity of the price for the journey. On the other hand for example just to Bayern ( sorry to all Bayern) travel and pork food around german standard to enjoy. A regular customers very popular hotel. Some guests are the 15-25 time and of course certain privileges. The garden the bungalow room is very beautifully built, however the rooms are quite dark. Us has not like this. in the dining room there was a huge rush and accordingly a mess. On the 'open ' food like for instance bread felt the flies very comfortable. In the absence of a napkin or a stofftuches the bread of all the cut into your hand taken. And again back. The chef fernandez gave however his best. Very nice garden area to the beach ... with enough chairs and covers. At the beach bar was no long waiting time. It was always very quickly. We loved the snack bar at the beach. Not everyone has at noon hunger on a full meal and the offered food perfect. read more

The hotel overall a very cozy hotel with much attention to detail and flair. Also the waiters is always nice and courteous. The food is very good quality, repeated however partly very strong. Are disturbing especially the many little things like constantly shaking dining tables in the restaurant, salt all not working had, the waiters a 3 times, whether one already ordered, long queues at the buffet and sometimes even waiters, a tip anbetteln. The absolutely worst were the hotel guests alone. The hotel lives off of german retirees, either every year journeys or particular are, the partly up to ... 5 months in the hotel linger. This said guests lead partly on, as would be the hotel alone include. They cry loud on the lawn, are at the pool bar before (and of course also preferentially treated by the bartender) and in the hotel many privileges (accommodation in the most beautiful residential complex the hotel; the first row of loungers directly at the beach was always for the regular guests reserved, although this partial the whole day not on the couch were). In addition one must also be careful, that one does not in one of the above on the road nearby room was (room number 67 and darumliegend ). There you could hear the noise from the street was very noisy and the bar in front of the hotel is partly loud music until 8:30 o'clock mornings. We were allowed after complaint thank god the room change, otherwise it would be a horror holiday has become. All this destroys the actually good overall impression from the hotel.
