For years i'm coming-as my parents - in Belvedere. I am again and again surprised, as it of the family h. manage, year after year, performance and quality of the highest standard further increase. Since my parents mitreisten, we had a family suite: two very spacious, ultra-modern, bright and very comfortable, bordering rooms with südsicht. The excellent 6-course gourmetdiner in the fine restaurant including pianist left nothing to be desired. Likewise we appreciated one more time the courteous, friendly and warm atention of the staff. I will Belvedere recommend it. read more

Very quality and customer orientated service. Very attentive and friendly, local and international staff. Very good and tasty prepared food, nice wine list with good value for money. Beautifully furnished rooms, everything seems to be very well-kept. Ample parking for cars. In every respect best recommendation for relaxing holidays in Grindelwald in a stunning setting with an impressive mountain landscape. If we go back to Grindelwald come, probably our first address, where we will be. read more

The Belvedere is centrally located in Grindlewald, a very short walk to the station and shops. The hotel is on the main road theough grindelwald and is very easy to find by car. The First gondola is just about walkable, but the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to both gondolas and the station and local bus stop are very close.
The great thing about the belvedere is the service. The staff are all so friendly, at least tri-lingual(!) and nothing is too much trouble. Our bedroom was huge, extremely comfortable with a pillow menu, satellite TV and a great ... shower. The restaurant is simply phenomenal. Wonderful ambience with a live pianist, superb service and top quality food. The bar is comfortable and relaxing with a great choice of cocktails and the lounge is comfortable and sociable with stunning views of the north face of the eiger. The spa is lovely with indoor and outdoor hot-tubs and a lovely pool. British guests beware: the sauna and steam room are nude zones!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this extremely friendly and comfortable family owned hotel. It is a top-end place and the price reflects that, but if you are looking to treat yourself then look no further than the Belvedere. read more

The hotel lies at excellent peaceful location railway station and the city center. Attentive, very friendly and cooperative staff. Very good cuisine and an extensive breakfast buffet. We were very comfortable and are this hotel happy to recommend. read more

The staff at the hotel was very friendly, the room stunning large with traunmhafter view, the food delicious. One day we have the spa enjoyed with subsequent treats: super! And on the next day the skiing. For us, it was very harmonious. read more

The Hotel Belvedere is a very good, family-run swiss hotel in an exceptionally beautiful location (unique panoramablickauf the eiger). The atmosphere is casual and familiar. The rooms are bright and spacious, quiet and well maintained. The service is excellent (the employees are professional, friendly, competent and always helpful), as well as the kitchen, half board is definitely recommendable. Pleasant, that you only in the evening the selection for the menu must take and not already for breakfast.
The hotel's private ski bus takes the guests the gondola, the stop the public ski bus is just 50 meters away from the ... ski basement. After skiing or hiking you can in the spa amongst others with outdoor saltwater whirpoll relax.
We felt very good in Belvedere and will gladly come again and can fully recommend the hotel. Service and quality are capitalized here. read more

Recently we were allowed a very nice and relaxing week in Belvedere spend. The hotel is centrally located and is nevertheless quiet. The staff are from the front desk, on the service in the restaurant to the service extremely friendly, attentive, willing to help and courteous! The cuisine is brilliant and leaves nothing to the imagination. Children are very welcome and will be extremely gracious included! Furthermore undertakes the building to environmental sustainability on waste and maintenance.
All together a first-class address, that we definitely recommendable could. read more

The food was excellent (we had the 6-course meal) and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection. The rooms are big and clean. The pool area is not realy big but clean and nice. The hotel is near to the train station so you have good connections. I would definitely go again. read more

Unfortunately just for one night but nevertheless we enjoyed a very nice stay in the Hotel Belvedere.
A highlight was our very nice and generous hotel room, with fantastic views.
Dinner (6-course menu) and breakfast buffet offer everything your heart desires.
The wellness area is rather small, but very lovingly and comfortably decorated, the inviting outside -salt water jacuzzi, with also great view, is a must.
If you're looking for friendly staff, cleanliness and good food sets, is in the right place here.
We are thankful for the lovely stay and will gladly come again! read more

This is the perfect and friendly place to stay for 3 nights. Competent staff, helpful and introduce you all the possibilities of the Ski area(s) nearby. Pool and sauna is the perfect relaxing place after a sportive day. Hotel, rooms, wellness very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast buffet very delicious, dinning hall with view to the Eiger - coooool. Special wish are not a problem for the waitress and the kitchen. We will come back! read more

Very pleasant short stay. Whether sledding, skiing, schneeschuhwander... Everything is nearby.
After a schlitteltag relaxing we at the wellness in the hotel and sterckten us with an excellent 6 we're beachgoers supper. Today machtrn a trip on the jongfrsu yoke. Very recommendable!

A really great hotel with very friendly staff, also on special requests accommodating and easily response. The spa is very nice and clean and varied for offer. Especially to mention is the outside pool, as well as the massages, what top were.
The architectural style and the furnishing remember a at an era of bygone days, in other words very styleful furnished and nevertheless in the newest condition. Very nice.

Top quality food of the highest standards is served & the very accommodating, efficient & friendly hotel associates make all the difference to make our stay a complete, comfortable and most memorable one.
The swimming pool with its outdoor saltwater jacuzzi is a must try
and great delight after a exhausting mountain trip.
We have been to Grindelwald many times and will return soon again.

The Hotel Belvedere. From the street your first impression is ‘ this is not Swiss’, nor is the name but as soon as you enter this 107 year old, 4 star family run hotel you realise you made the right choice in accommodation. The staff immediately make you feel, not just welcome, but as if you are a returning family member. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed and the views are just spectacular. You are totally surrounded by snow topped mountains. If you don’t feel like dining in the understated but excellent hotel restaurant you are just a short ... walk from the village centre, where there are an abundance of culinary delights to tempt even the fussiest eater. The Belvedere is the perfect base to explore all this region has to offer and after a hard day sightseeing, hiking or mountain exploring you can ease away any tension with a massage or a soak in the outdoor heated spa. This hotel has been in the same family since it was built which is what I really liked about it, as the Hauser family touches show up in so many ways – including on my return home a traditional style newspaper format newsletter. read more
