recommendable only for singles and young couple, there the rooms almost unacceptable small. However clean. Even things like shower gel in the shower missing. Plus point is the central location directly at the fair and a tram stop directly in front of the hotel, the a in 5 minutes in the historic part brings.
Altogether, as mentioned, only for 'modest' young people, the room only for sleeping use. read more

If you stay here a, two nights beats not go wrong. It is quiet, clean, close to the Basel bathroom train station location and value.
The staff are friendly. Everything works by code, this means no waiting whilst checking out. read more

The EAS Hotel in Basel is a small hotel the EAS hotel chain. The hotel is located directly to the Convention Center and the tram stop is on messeplatz with the line two in less than 5 minute walking distance from the main railway station SBB. Our room (EAS Hotel-category: small double room with window) was relatively small, but very comfortable. The decor is new and not worn. The rooms have no air conditioning and no telephone. The rooms are with swivel plasma tv (with all major German programs) equipped. The 'bathroom' one is in the room built-in/integrated plastic wet ... room with toilet, sink and shower. The beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness of the sheets, the room and the wet room was exemplary, where some star hotels which may look. Breakfast could be booked for an extra charge, the price is not known but unfortunately, as we had breakfast outside. The reception was 24 hours occupied and city tram plans as well as helpful.
Conclusion: for Swiss standards a cheap and clean place to stay, where you can spend 1-3 nights/days. Due to the very small room but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay with a lot of luggage, etc. We will be the next short stay in Basel choose this hotel again! read more

The hotel is situated right at the Basel fair, so if you are just passing through, or to the exhibition for one day to visit the town, is in easy the hotel was very good. The nearest tram stop is only about five minutes away. If you are up early enough reserved, the price/performance ratio simply super. read more
