Hotel is located right between main street and beach. Beach is nice, but otherwise there is nothing in the surrounding area (7 eleven on the opposite side of the street for drinks etc.) we only ate once at the hotel. Small selection, waiters understood nothing. Then we went to the restaurant in nearby establishments (by walk distance many), was much more recommendable. We got an upgrade in the highest category, very nice, nice apartment with a very good bathroom. Swimming pool (small) and the beach are nice and April we were there nearly alone. If the hotel is full ..., pool and restaurant capacity very tight. read more

Breakfast with eggs in all forms of order was monotonous after a few days, juice from the package also. Beach chairs by the pool and on the beach about a third to less-reservation need or beach chairs at the private balcony. (according to the brochure/on the Internet to see-a sunbathing area was missing with four chairs and sunshades). Sweden of the guests-Northern 'cold' should not be in the vacation Europeans. There is the pool and so on a pool Anierung-rusty nails-would be necessary. Closing for a hobby hausigenen a fillet steak house in with rump meat quality a small Gaumenenttäuschung. ... The Maya in Koh lanta is a wonderful small hotel directly at the beach. When we arrived, there was a great surprise, we were during the check in asked, whether we in the deluxe rooms, suite upgrade want, it costs us also not more. We thought we didn't really understood and asked again after, but it was fact, we got to the same price one of the suite. Huge big room with travel bath. Great decor, view of the extensive beach/ sea. The pool is small with also view of the beach/ sea. Room very clean. In the restaurant we ... only breakfast buffet used otherwise we were outside in one of the many restaurants to eat. Beach was very spacious. We can the hotel absolutely recommend. read more
