The hotel is located very close at the water front and shops are also nearby. The service is good there. We asked for a 2. armchair in our room and got it the next morning. The staff is friendly. The food (half board ) was very tasty, for me also sufficiently, my husband could have had more 'managed', (soup and dessert very (!) Tasty) and the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We definitely recommend the hotel, were already 2 times there.
There was only one thing, we complain about-the armchair in our room were unfortunately very hard, sometime ... you sat on the bed.
We felt very comfortable in this hotel! Value for money is also okay! read more

Unfortunately the short break by unfriendly and incompetent staff at the reception not in too good memories remain. In addition booked services such as cosmetics and massage are recommendable, however the room (felt 30 °c-next to swimming pool) no real relaxation arise. Staff in the restaurant friendly and accommodating. Food variety the half board mediocre, quality however good. The location of the hotel is rather quiet but nevertheless centrally located in the immediate vicinity of promenade. Room the lake has limited view of the sea. Balcony took some getting used to, since no separation to the neighbors ( consistently over ... whole floor). On room missing mini bar, so were the room offered drinks too warm. Shower that is unacceptable, since only bath with a shower curtain available. Either the bathroom swims or shower curtain sticks on the body. Cleanliness in the whole hotel commendable. read more

For almost a spa -week was the building great sauna and pool are small and fine and commendable clean. The breakfast buffet left nothing to the imagination. The staff all areas appeared to be friendly and very efficient. We will be back! read more

The central, on the promenade located hotel offers a ideal starting point for many autumnal activities. The offered dishes in the hotel tasty and for children the selection is sufficient. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The hygiene is guaranteed. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The well-kept hotel pool offers another possibility, itself with children to pass the time.
The hotel is in Kühlungsborn-west, which the quieter district is. In Kühlungsborn-east is the stronger geschäfttreiben instead. Both districts are in a few minutes the promenade respectively a small forest connected with one another. Where you can with children in ... a climbing or playgrounds its fun.
The train station the molli-bahn (steamengine) for a trip to bad doberan, heiligendamm is in a few minutes easily reachable on foot. For excursions in the nearby Rostock, warnemünde, Wismar or 'Karl's erlebnisdorf' you need by car no hour. A hike at the beach or easily reachable lighthouse 'buk' in bastorf is recommendable.
The good overall impression of the hotel is clouded by the disasters that have wear marks in the bathroom ( mountings, joints and additions), damage on the walls in the hallways or the not repaired lighting the signage. The coffee pots from plastic make in a four star hotel a cheap impression, furthermore the spout by the cleaning are damaged.
The hotel is in the in short recommendable, it is reasonable value for money- but felt closer to the 3-star standard. read more

The hotel we have only booked with breakfast included. Because of the rich offer in the further environment we could the 'local' fine cuisine meet.
Breakfast is very plentiful and for any taste was something offered and regularly also after-put. The staff(-inside) in the service must personally be addressed, the Gesichtsmimik a little positive to change. This employee experience customer focus rather than Pflichtaufgabe and not as a matter of course. The contrary, we have at the front desk met. A friendly and warm handling. To questions you get an honest answer. ( where is the fitness room?)
The large ... swimming pool is through the external framework: saggy loungers and the charm a indoor pool as uncomfortable and outdated felt.
The adjoining sauna area need also a 'review'. It invites you not to longer stay a.

The hotel captivates with its distance to the beach. We had a room with a balcony and view of the sea. The hotel is in a very good condition and all concerns were fast from the staff edit. The rooms are big enough, unfortunately are the balcony not the neighbors separately. It would be nice, if the mattresses soon once again renewed would. The rooms were cleaned every day and 2 times was the bed linen during the 14 days changed. The swimming pool invites you to swim, it is very well maintained and attractive. Unfortunately are 3 showers for ... men and women available, what sometimes confusion led.
Breakfast was very varied and diverse. Every guest was thrilled by the delicious and freshly prepared courses. Also the dinner is recommendable, but in the other restaurants in the area there are also good deals, like for instance in the 'fish trap'. The beautiful sandy beach is in the immediate proximity. read more

Our stay was from sa so on a summer weekend in a very large single room, the with franz. Bed as a double room rented.
The hotel has pool and sauna, which we didn't use it, because beachweather was. The hotel has looks optically almost everywhere as the early 90-a bit old-fashioned. Negative the room had no mini bar, a the problem enduring stood at 25 °c on the desk. Positive: in the dining room was despite full occupancy enough room and the buffet was well refilled.
The service is friendly (personal quality of the staff) and comfortable (parking before ... and after the a-or check out possible).
Conclusion: very solid, proximity to the beach and close to shops and restaurants-no surprises.
Tip the hotel was via internet already booked, but by telephone it was still possible, a ' not'zimmer (see above) to get-call! read more

In the bathroom depends on a shower curtain. Old people come because of the margin height hardly in the
Tub. The fitted carpets in the room was stained and disgusting.

Note in advance. For this hotel it concerns a classic hotel - so without animation and special things for children. Nevertheless, our junior (four and a half ) felt really good in this hotel. The direct location at the beach ( only separated by the beach promenade) has him (and of course also) very good. The hotel itself has a pleasant size - there is a very well run restaurant, a hotel bar, an Irish pub ( with live music - however in the hotel didn't hear it, since apparent soundproofed, as well as a bistro in front of the ... hotel. The staff were through the bank very friendly and skilled. Also the trainees I must praise. They tried hard and it was not at all disturbing, that one or the other handrail still not 100% was perfect. Big praise to Mrs Herold from the reception. A woman with about, joke and charm. Such a staff be surely lots of hotels. The room ( apartment) was very big and for a family with maximum 2 children great. We had a bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with two single beds, a living room and another (ESS ) room with a pantry -kitchen. This was ideal, once a snack to make. Apart from that we had breakfast booked. In Kühlungsborn there was felt hundreds pub - for any taste and each purse. Complaints (swallows-Kot on the balcony) were impeccably poured out. Only point of criticism: in the room I lacked a certain charm ( Dekostil ), the for the hotel is available. The issue of 'aqua' you could here surely well implement it. Apart from that I can only say - everything was good. read more

Ideally located hotel on the beach. We were after a cruise (from to warnemuende) on the Baltic Sea there. It has us very well fallen. We had our balcony from fantastic view directly on the Baltic Sea.
Point of criticism was the treatment at the front desk by an employee, the everything better knew, promises other (gästefreundlicher ) staff members recanted and basically 'nothing possible made', which in terms of customer service really easy would have been feasible. So prohibited this lady for example with our (early) arrival the offer your colleague, us by cell phone to call, if our ... room finished (not the half day in Kühlungsborn uneingecheckt fritter away to have).

In the room were many wallpapers replaced, that means strong in need of renovation. The bed Frame was broken, the mattress completely worn out. There was no mini bar. The closets are very loud open, the Schlüsselschaniere fell at the opening from. For a four-star hotel and almost 90,00 Euro per night for a single room more than just not appropriate. read more

The hotel was mostly a four-star hotel. The sauna is with bad / cold weather because of the size was a bit overstrained. In the swimming pool existing pool chairs are uncomfortable, because worn. Wellness is therefore not in the range of four stars. The mattresses in the bed were very worn. With a board under the mattress something was remedied. In spite of the Reductions in the spa facilities the hotel is for a short break very suitable.

The double room was big enough with a spacious Bath (drawback: the shower curtain! He sticks to the wet Skin ). We had only booked breakfast.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient and diverse. It was quickly refilled. In addition there was each morning fresh fruit and vegetables. The pool area we also used. The pool was all right, the atmosphere around the pool worked poorly. There were a few saggy chairs, in which the back rest difficult to adjust left, a few Plastic chairs and tables. Although it is a large desk, but there was never anyone.
The two saunas ... are nice, but definitely for a house this size too small. The location of the hotel directly at the beach Ascent is optimal. The small restaurants around the hotel have good food. We liked it in the hotel very well, so that we were able to relax. We had a spacious room on the lake. Since we half board had booked, we had every evening a menu select. The choice between meat, fish and vegitarisch. The fish was always poached or steamed, always looked similar. Meat was always with sauce. All in all a bit monotonous. Daily there was a Cremsuppe as a starter and a dessert. On the menu but more varied food. Rather only with breakfast book, which was very good and rich was, and à la carte food.

We have a relaxation weekend three days without children spent in the hotel. The double room was surprisingly large and everything was clean and friendly furnished. Unfortunately, no cooling function (mini bar without cooling) in the room. In the bathroom shower curtain and the plastic stools we found it a little inconvenient, but practicable. Big plus was the Irish pub with great live music on Saturday evening (pub directly in the hotel). Of course, you heard a bit silent the music in the room. Negative clearly the food supply evenings in the case half board. We recommend definitely only breakfast ... to book or à la carte for example in the many other the hotel to eat. The special offer evenings was partly only cafeteria level! Breakfast however left nothing to be desired. Caution: coffee for breakfast are inclusive, but only on demand enough, otherwise it is just coffee from the thermokanne! Service staff in dining not unlimited friendly. Alexander is in service and friendliness sure to catch! That began with the lack of greeting (had) and ends at the lack of clearing of the table to full. read more

We had a very beautiful short break in this hotel spent. Our room was very large and clean. The only negative on the first evening was the double beds the Fox apart pushed have, but on the next day immediately fixed by the housekeeper. You forgot, the beds after the cleaning of the rooms it. Food is very good, varied and extremely delicious. The service Forces in the restaurant are attentive and accommodating. But that didn't work was the lady (a older) at reception at check out, only she gave the Visazahlung 300 euros too much and then it was ... still a bit rude to us and the trainee (I believe more idea) opposite. The aquamarin is not recommended, the room was very dusty, the towels were very worn. In a four-star hotel a mini bar (with a refrigerator) should be present, as well as a bed with adjustable head part. In the pool area there were only a few very saggy chairs. New year's Eve gala buffet the (with a price of over 80 euros) included only 1 glass of champagne and 1 bottle of water per table, the table still had to be shared. All information about the event, the staff only on demand. The whole operation was very badly organized. read more
