If you this hotel when looked at more closely you will find light and shade.
We only once to the light, the location is very good, the food a dream ( no matter wether at saffron or Al Waha restaurant) and the hotel is in good condition. The offered activities have a not insignificant price, recommendable nonetheless are in any case the nature & bird watching walk, the Falconry show and a trip with the mountain bike in the surroundings.
Unfortunately there are also plenty of shade, the normal Villas have only a very limited number of hours of sunshine ..., the on the balcony at the pool ( unfortunately otherwise no other bath possibility except in 35 minutes away beachclub) can be used, in our case ( March) CIRCA 3a 4 hours in the afternoon ( from 14 o'clock), the pool in 9 days of the stay 2 time cleaned (1 times to call ), the area the villa is very stark (lack of planting), very much garbage was located in some hidden corners (behind the villas) and the crowning was, the the room too many only at 16 o'clock was cleaned. Only after a two-time complaint at the front desk, changes this circumstance as you in a home of this nature may require ( cleaning before 12 hours ).
Unfortunately we traveled after our last Desert hotel (Abu Dhabi-qasr Al sarab dessert Resort by anantara) with high expectations on, these were unfortunately not met. In this hotel must in my opinion still some change a standard the banyan tree group to fulfill. read more

We had a tent villa with private pool. Everything is great and nothing to complain about. Breakfast sensational. For dinner are two restaurants available. The Asian -restaurant is good, but nothing special. The main restaurant offers some evenings buffet on high level, which was very good. Apart from that the menu is rather small, the quality of the dishes but very good.
The bar on the roof with vision is sunset recommendable... Trashier is not more. read more

If you get the right room bay is the relaxing Wüstensause anything in the way, but that there were unfortunately not many and only in the most expensive category! when then the door to the massive villa 407 in the desert opened, began the actual vacation as we could have hoped for with great view, really beautiful decor and heavenly peace, if one the pool heating during the day turned off and but somewhat more bumps in the swim accepted.
free time facilities inclusive, bicycles are in good shape, the rainforest rather sterile and again artificial, the treatments in the spa are very good, but like the rest of the Resortactivities also charming iND the pricing-in the kids club( nothing special beautifully convenient or decorated) are also a pronounced long Extrapreisliste? -where the Dromedarreiten a real Must is!
what the food regards we were pleasant surprised by quality and prices, breakfast was excellent (but unfortunately indoor very loud and outdoor with a few tables in the shaded courtyard ambience-, whether as a result of the design have thought?), dinner the Thai restaurant was great with perfect service and great terrace goes so!
the actual highlight begins in the South the plant-sand and wide, free-range Gazelles and at night a terrific starry sky, since no Buggyhighway you had the part of the plant then almost for itself!
in short: if you really desert to take deeper into the bag and book equal Al Sahari villa -406 and 407 are the bestor you book the upgrade special various organizer and moaning then when the check in on this category high! What however a degree of perseverance and a little luck are necessary apart from that land in strandresort (is actually the next higher category!) or in the in our day discontinued Al Khaimah category, the identical size and equipped, but the location was absolutely not comparable is! read more

Banyan tree Al Wadi( dessert) is about 8 kilometers away from the beach and is in its art einzigart. The 'large' Zeltvillen are dreamlike. The'small' nevertheless we have asked in a beach front villa move to May, since wi rather at the beach wanted to be. (Transfer of tour operator not possible) These villas are available on a artificial man made headland and simple dreamlike romantic furnished. The private pool and the various beach chairs are great. Cleanliness: excellent. Lots of different nationalities and age groups were in the hotel. read more

Unfortunately, there was no place in the sun in spite of the beautiful weather available. On the beautiful terrace with private pool there was no sunshine. The food was very, very expensive and it didn't taste. About 50,00 euros per person. The beach where you 35 minutes had to return was very nice. The water in the shower after 10 minutes still personnel. No 5.5 stars. read more

Well for 5.5 stars there is so a few things, great pool bungalow, rather bad, that the corresponding pump the whole night quite loud runs. The spa offer great.

very nice and tasteful complex. The pool is because of the heat very refreshing. The furnishing is very nice and coordinated. At first glance everything was perfect and clean. At the second glance but there are some small faults. In the corners ( for example under the bed ) will probably rarely cleaned. Light switch and tiles will gladly somewhat over-coated...
the breakfast is very reichhaltigig and good. The same goes for the restaurants. The prices are adequate. We were afterwards still in the hotel Atlantis, from which you can't say. read more

This hotel is the absolute dream. Every room (villa) has its own pool, the not visible is. But it can happen, that, if you in the pool swim, a gazelle walked past. The furnishings the property is discreet-and not edl overloaded. The friendliness of the staff can't be beat. The beach villas are nice but still under construction. That is to say no buffet Villas very small and the open architecture it is very noisy. So on a par with a double room. Beach without sand. The sand is only beginning of April and the plants is new. The beach villas 2 years were empty and then been bought. So banyan tree handwriting is still missing. Food at the beach very good in the desert, a third villas facilities in the desert very good see tenter villa is the largest and very private as between the individual Villas sand ... dunes are filled. 25 km, the large brand new hotel is located about 1 hour's drive away from Dubai in a conservation area. There are 3 types of villas: the ocean pool villas are in a semi-circle and fairly close together, more privacy in the tented villas in the middle (Al Khaimah) and (Al Sahari) highest category. We had a short guest performance in one ocean pool villa an upgrade in Al Khaimah-huge (250 square feet) in size, üppigst equipped, the view over the pool to the desert beyond the assets limit a dream. The complete list of goodies the scope, satellite TV ..., Bose sound system, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning flüsterleise, 2 people bathtub, before the pool large terrace with deck chairs and a daybed. There was everything you need and a lot more. For the lighting there is a manual, so many lamps and spots.
the area in order to see the real resort to Al Wadi, there camels, within the area it free-range Antelopes and falconry. If the paths to far, yet on the buggy service, the transport, with the exception of vehicles Elekto as on the golf course.
spa, gym and rainforest we did not try out, instead the free shuttle to the November opened beach resort, highly recommended.
dining: there is a restaurant serving international kitchen and the saffron with Thai dishes at the level of the price is elevated( for example very delicious Ceasar salad good 10 euros). In the immediate the property does not exist alternative, so you are (without rental car) rely on the institutions. As the multi-course dinner on the saffron tower, exclusively for 2 persons (above fits only one table on it) with private servers. You should really go there hungry, we have an abundance of production, although the food of the finest quality - as well as the extensive breakfast buffet.
the staff offers unobtrusive, always friendly service, excellent.
we went to the Al Wadi very felt comfortable, but you should definitely book the tented villas and if possible avoid the weekends, when many guests coming from Dubai. So hot it during the day is: after sunset it is quite cold, warm clothes is needed. read more
