We were from 17-03-2013 to 20-03-2013 in this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. It was actually very good. Large rooms, very good food and friendly service. If you really what negative if this could be somewhat small bathroom mention. read more

The staff are rather unfriendly and departing guests are carelessly 'processed'. On absolutely unsympathischsten is the dining room, all tables are in rows - the whole atmosphere was totally uncomfortable, so really no place at which one gladly and well maintained eats and a little sits. This is still very of ddr mitropa flair.
Offered the hotel probably over food discounter-also for a cheap price - we have right at the hotel the nights and the front desk called price is 2.5 times as high as in the supermarket. But erhät you really no proper performance. read more

Only on the 2. view one recognizes the extensive age flaws (partially) mold on tile grouting (mortar) and silicone joints in the room-bathroom, broken tiles, dirty streaks on the walls, rickety fittings, mini tv (supposedly from the Aldi from the 80-years), and, and.
The absolute hit is the so-called 'sauna' a mini-sauna cabin worn out, jacuzzi broken, turkish only stand-by (if any), mold in the showers, bulbous (hohl-liegende) fliesenwand, leaky plunge pool (with efflorescence in the pedestal) and relaxation room in the basement with only 3 beach chairs with funzeligem basement skylight.
Of al we after the lack of towels ... asked, said a receptionist, coincidentally the sauna controlled, that we (half-naked ) to the front desk should be. read more

The hotel is located at the entrance of Oberwiesenthal in a quiet location with a view of the Fichtelberg and the wedge mountain. The staff are very friendly and tried everything to complete satisfaction things to do. Small mango in my room it smelled in the bathroom after urine which i believe from the bidet was. read more

Overall we were satisfied. Complain about, we would like the television, is very nice in the years old as well as the sink in the bathroom (total cracks) not appealing if the brush your teeth.
Except for some exceptions is the staff very unfriendly, you get the impression the ladies and men work, because they earn money but you didn't have to, because they fun at their job. read more

We have been already the 2. time in this hotel and again very pleased!
A flaws this time : the friendliness the lady at the front desk left to be desired- unfortunately! The sauna area is not really worth mentioning - very small, but clean!
Apart from that everything tippi toppi -essen, room, cleanliness! :-)
Particularly positive: daily until 17u there is a hotel's own shuttle bus from the hotel to the ski slope and back. read more

We have this hotel for a session used.
The staff at reception, as well as in the restaurant was very unmotivated and partly even rude.
The cleanliness of the hotel was generally poor, in two rooms were even bed bugs found.
The food in the restaurant was at all three days high on any sufficient level and the breakfast very spartan.
For these reasons, the hotel is absolutely not recommendable. read more

The hotel corresponded wholeheartedly our requirements.
Shuttle to the winter sports region half hour, staff friendly.
We are about the fußgängergrenzübergang (15 minutes on foot) for dinner in the restaurant st. Johannes run, totally recommendable.
The sauna is unfortunately really too small for the hotel. read more

Very nice most generic, the hotel in Oberwiesenthal but in my opinion a big problem with his staff. If you are unlucky enough and you meet with a complaint at the front desk the bottle, a not helped. This happens only, if you loudly complain.
The hotel has a beautiful bar, but from 22 o'clock you get the feeling, that one nothing more beverage must, because the staff home wants. read more

We felt really comfortable in the hotel and the very large rooms were very tidy and very clean. Unfortunately was the
Tv very small, but we were for hiking.
The breakfast and the half board was very good and with plenty of choice put together.
Very nice, that non-smoking rooms and that also the dog is welcome. With the trolley you can trip there and back easy access to into the room the luggage drive. read more

Very good atmosphere. Children are more than welcome. Were by the size of the rooms impressed. Very friendly staff in the entire hotel. Food was variable and sufficient ( early's, as well as evenings). Only Mango is the very small tv. read more

The hotel made from the outside and inside a very well-kept impression. Everything was clean and well maintained. Because we in the low season traveled, was the largest part of the guests pensioners and groups. One could book breakfast or half board. read more

Hotel lies am hang. The condition on the first glance reasonable. Room very spacious. The bathroom: in the shower mold. The washbasin should be replaced and the drain better cleaned. The tv probably originates from the middle-aged. According to statement the front desk there are no possibility in the internet to come! Very weak for a three-star hotel. read more

Satisfactory stay in a good hotel. The Pitch at the front desk reminds some employees ( certainly not all) of the release at the VoPos at the transit routes. Can but also a Mentalitätsfrage are. The dinner was always very tasty, also the breakfast. Disturbed only the small cups (slightly larger than a thimble). All together the hotel is recommendable. read more

A very nice hotel, very friendly staff, the room always clean. Very nice bath. The food ( morning and evening ) was very varied. Hot and cold buffet there were every day, the service in the dining room were always friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is also easy to find and parking spaces there were enough. Is definitely recommendable. read more

We were with four friends and wundersch öne days old. Accommodation, staff and food everything was okay, just the prices in the restaurant were a bit too high. But there were a nice local nearby where the prices acceptable. We knnten longer in this hotel stay. read more

The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. However leaves the food ( at booked half board)
But very to desire. Only a main course at the buffet to choose from (even chicken on the next day fish) is for a ****hotel simply too little. The breakfast buffet was reasonable. Also the tv front desk was very bad. read more

The hotel lies nice and quiet hill with a view of the mountains outside the village center. You can town center to reach on foot, car but would recommendable nonetheless ( for shopping or similar ).
The condition of the hotel and the room is OK. The rooms are big, quiet, clean and with all important equipped. Also the bathroom was large and clean. TV very old and bad picture (exchange would be advisable ). The food was home cooking. Nothing special, but clean and tidy. Beach could have been better. Audience usually over 50 and a few families with ... small children. For those who love action or wants to party, it should rather leave (nothing for U30 ). Staff mostly hard and friendly.
We thought it was bad, that the bar smoking was allowed, so we only stayed there. The place Oberwiesenthal is probably only on winter operations aligned. We found under the week exactly one possibility, a drink. This bar (kiwis bar lounge on the market) but we can strongly recommend: very nice decor, good atmosphere, nice people included service and very good drinks menu. Apart from that is the place in the early summer ( end of May) pretty dead.
But if go on excursions want, this from there good ( Dresden, Chemnitz, Elbsandsteingebirge). Also hikes are good ( Fichtelberg, Ore mountains). Excursions in the Czech republic are recommendable.
In short: good for a short break, for a longer stay Tediousness possible. The value for money was in our offer really reasonable. The hotel we were but also clearly as three star hotel offered, everything other would be something too much the good. read more

Hotel nice, but how we think, no four star hotel. Restaurant every day of 11 until 17 o'clock closed. Café beverage in the so-called bar, for expensive money. (were unfortunately at the mother's day there and would have liked coffee shop and D cakes had). That we expected. We are not party animals more, but as it was like in a rehabilitation clinic. Average age: estimated 80 years. Well, we will probably also times, but the breakfast buffet was also very sparse and no wide choice ( just as in the hospital ) but also we know that not other ... houses. But the room and bathroom huge and very clean. But they asked themselves, what the 4 stars got? For this size of the room? Because everything other leaves much to be desired. read more
