This was our 4. visit in this beautiful hotel you also because of of the good reviews at holdaycheck. Dazzling white, in good condition presented the Riu Palace Maspalomas. Two large pools, kid's pool and sufficient beach chairs. It is handicapped accessible and suitable for older people (for example access for wheelchairs into the pool, and ramps at the stairs, etc.) The hotel has 368 rooms and suites, on a maximum of 4 floors. The Riu Palace hotel was opened in the year of 1989. In the summer 2003 a major renovation was completed. Most of the rooms you ... have a great view over the dunes and/or the beach. To the beach through the dunes it was about 800 meters. = 30 minutes! In february was the guest structure very mixed, from very young to older everything available, with german-speaking tourists from around 50 to 60 certainly in the majority. read more

    There were different room sizes, we had a double room in 2. floor with partial sea view. More than enough for us, since you were the whole day on the way is. The double room was tastefully decorated, with 2 chairs, a large clothes closet and a mini bar at acceptable prices, but was not tested, because very good bar in the hotel. The air conditioning was pleasantly still and easily adjustable, in addition, a ceiling fan was available. Everything very clean and tidy. There is sufficient german tv programs, ARD, ZDF, RTL, satellite. 1 and ntv. Use of the electronic safe is for 14 Euro the week recommendable. The old hair dryer on the wall is not up-to-date anymore, when will this finally replaced? The towels are on request changed daily. The balcony with 2 beach chairs and a small table.     Breakfast: great juice bar, here there are freshly squeezed juices! The dinner in two meetings 18:00 or 8:00 p. m. taken. There was a cold and warm starters buffet. Especially highlighted is the diversity the buffets. If in the morning for breakfast as well as in the evening there was a really huge selection of different meals. The dishes it tasted really good. Recommendable is the à-la-carte restaurant 'crystal' the as a part of the half board when interest is free of charge.

    The service is perfect! The staff are all exceedingly friendly. Almost all of the staff, the came into contact with tourists, were multilingual (spanish, german, english, french). You get on request a free bathrobe. The beach towels were on request daily (08:30 until 11:30 a. m.) changed.

    Both pools are enough chairs with cushions and umbrellas available. You have every day two new towels gotten. Pool, pool bar and hotel area were very tidy and clean. But also there are many beach chairs were reserved. Especially great i found the service by the pool, regularly came waiters and you could drinks, coffee and so on. Order; what you in glasses (plastics) or cups served. There is also a fitness area of well equipped is. Hairdresser at the spa area, sauna and steam room with a nice relaxation room with bad weather. Massage treatments were qualified staff good. At the beach you pay per day 2,50 Euro per beach chair and 2,50 Euro per umbrella. One set for 2 people was then 7,50 Euro.     The hotel located right next to the dunes, at the end avda. De tirajana a street with many shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels. Opposite from the hotel a small supermarket is for newspapers or things of the daily need. The nächsterreichbare shopping center is the Centro Comercial Cita, which contained the usual stores, but all was very run down. At the asian photography stores, is cautious, this also applies to shopping centres Kasbah and Yumbo. Are better for shopping in the good boutiques in the new promenade in Maspalomas. With the bus for 1,40 Euro for example with the line 25, 30, 33 or with the taxi for about 5 €.

    We had a room with a huge balcony. This was both from the bedroom, as well as from the living room to reach. The balcony with loungers, fußtischchen and a table equipped. We used the balcony because of the strong around fliegenenden sand not really. Our bathroom was big enough and equipped with a bathtub. Our room we could because of the two existing rooms excellent and fully use. The mini bar was with the usual beverages. The air conditioning we didn't use.

    This time were, as always, all employees very friendly. We felt really like at home. Our previously expressed desires were to 100% implemented. All of the staff were with us german. Our room was very thoroughly cleaned. For the balcony herumfliegenden sand is not responsibility. We had no complaints.

    The hotel has two pools. A wellness pool and ein'normaler' pool. Both are heated. The condition is the age appropriate. A few mosaic tiles were missing, but the bothered us not. But lighting in the pool renewed. Beach chairs, cushions and umbrellas we have every day can get.

    The hotel lies somewhere in the middle. Directly at the dunes, therefore, of course, a very exposed location. To the beach, in other words sea, you have to have a walk of 20 minutes.     The rooms are decently furnished. The cleanliness of the rooms is perfect. We had booked a junior suite to a nightly service with new towels etc. Belonged. The furnishing and the baths are but not completely modern anymore, there were once again something being invested. In addition it is today for the standard good hotel, that wi-fi on the rooms there is. This is unfortunately in the Riu Palace Maspalomas not yet the case.

    I do not have already very many top hotels, business and private. I have also already more luxury experience, in Dubai, New York, Aruba, Ibiza or Las Vegas. The service in the Riu Palace Maspalomas pleases me still the best. He is friendly and pushy, as a good service should be. The friendliness starts with the manager and goes over the waiters, maids to gardeners further. Work really good service!

The spacious, very well maintained property about 370 rooms and is in a visually attractive condition. All spaces are very clean. The hotel offers half board, for a fee you can at the lunch snacks and in the afternoon coffee and cake. Beside the main pool is located in the hotel a small children's pool, a second smaller pool, and a jacuzzi. In the wellness centre you can let yourself be pampered. A room with 3 computers-places offers the possibility the internet to use. Is a place with printer equipped, so that you amongst others his boarding pass after the ... online check-in printing out (power on demand but also the front desk). We were at the end of january/ beginning february here. The hotel was almost fully booked. The average age was between 40 and 70, but partly also younger, many couples, also homosexual, little children. The guests came amongst others from Germany, England and from northern europe. The entire audience was very pleasant, therefore the hotel overall quiet. read more

    We had a large, very clean room with a large semi-covered balcony. The furnishing was certainly not super modern, but everything was very well-kept and comfortable. A large wardrobe, wide and comfortable beds, two easy chairs and a dresser belonged to the furniture. A fridge was in the room, on the flat screen tv could be some international channels.     The service is almost unbeatable. All the staff in all areas are very friendly, courteous and in your stay efficient. All wishes/ requests are immediately dealt with. At the front desk the most employees spoke german and english. But if neither in spanish, still communicate in english, is also the waiters understood well. Pool towels can be exchanged daily, a medical supply becomes lived, cars could also in the hotel be rented. Already on arrival you with a glass of sparkling wine welcomes, the luggages are into the room and the reality of the hotel very well explained.

    The Riu Palace Maspalomas is located on the edge of town from Playa del Ingles, directly at the dunes, the Maspalomas extend. The beach a ' the dune hike ' about minutes. Along the beach you will find again and again beach chairs/umbrella oases. Directly opposite of the hotel there was a small supermarket, just a few minutes' walk of several bars and restaurants, as well as the shopping and entertainment centre 'Cita'. More center, as for example the 'Jumbo', you will find in the kernort of Playa del Ingles, about 2 kilometers away. A bus stop is in the immediate proximity, a few parking spaces at the hotel, additional parking in the surrounding streets. With a rental car the hotel less than 30 minutes from the airport to reach.

We wanted to a week time out and it was worth it. Especially good we found the selection and quality the food and the very attentive staff. Because of its location pleasantly quiet at night. Drink prices and a very good selection. Beautiful, well-kept complex with access to beach promenade, refreshing coolers pool to swim with lots of space, 2., somewhat smaller pool with massage and jacuzzi. Great view to the dunes, from which you to the lighthouse hiking can, trip to Puerto Mogan very recommendable. Taxi price very reasonable. Pleasant temperatures in december. read more

The hotel convinced by the lots of regular guests all year. Unfortunately, we were partly not dealt with as such. Our wish (up-grade) were not really met. Of course we had a sea view room, (small up-grade). But after examining the application forms had we simply an arbitrary management of the employee saying, although we in time logged on. On the day of departure we went early from the room, although us longer assured was. It was twice asked why we still in the room are. Last we were two invoices attached, the room number (not) on the invoice were. ... Three of the four are charged agreed. We are going back. A very good hotel with better staff : you just feel great and always come would gladly come again. Nevertheless some criticisms: - wi-fi only available in the hall and not on the rooms (but free of charge) - in the bathrooms : too few shelf space, not enough hooks for hanging bathrobes etc. - in my opinion biggest problem: Facilities and decor are outdated. With 11 people in our family we were from the 26. 12. to 02. 01,13 in the Riu Maspalomas palace and between holidays dated family celebration celebrated. Already prior to the management with our local travel agency phone, to formulate wishes for our family celebration of the keys. When we in the hotel arrived, was a long table prepared and excellent set. The some previous visits well-known service was, as we already knew, very accommodating. For us it was as hosts a delight, with almost all members of the family in the morning and in the evening work on ... the long table to food and family entertainment to maintain. All participants were thrilled by the great service. Our completely special thanks we would ask mr director Roberto j. pronounce, of his long-standing for the hotel operating staff again and again creates, a the whole establishment appreciable atmosphere to create. read more

As other people, the hotel is overall a bit dated and it would be appropriate, the a or other to renovate. The mattresses are not more great and the gym is pretty run down. Overall fits however everything very well together, it didn't bother us in the slightest, the furnishing of yore is. We were there over christmas and new year's eve the food was excellent, particularly the gala menu on these two days. Loungers by the pool to get wasn't a problem, so not a soul must in the morning around 5 rise and these reserve. The guests were ... mixed, although the regular guests the generation 60 plus already were in the majority. Stress, i must the staff's hospitality, you get in very good hands for. Conclusion, the coming christmas again. read more

A hotel, that during imperial? Built? Spotlessly clean, snow-white, with spacious rooms, wide beds, (mattresses with springs, the movement factor were), a large bathroom, in the whole hotel mirror, mirror, mirror. Even at the ceiling in front of the elevators. The lifts are also getting quite old! Two pools in a palm garden, very well maintained. Hotel lies directly at the dunes of Maspalomas. To the beach it is through the dunes strenuous and far, therefore still further! Service and food phenomenal. Morning champagne breakfast, evening caviar. Not our cup of tea, but great!     The hotel lies at the end of from Playa del Ingles, directly the the dunes. At the main entrance to the right is a small hyper Dino, where one mineral water and etc. Get.
