The Marriott Berlin is for certain an of the best addresses of the city.
Clean, modern, friendly. Here for us nothing to be desired.
The location on Potsdamer Platz i feel rather than suboptimal, since here everything on tourists to navigate minted is.
Nevertheless the hotel i can absolutely recommend.
There are only non-smoking rooms available. read more

The location is in any case excellent. S-Bahn and subway, Brandenburger Tor, the reichstag, Sony Center, shopping center, Starbucks, restaurants - all in the immediate nearby. The hotel is located nevertheless quiet and is new. But, it is for us it was simply too many details the overall impression significantly disturb.
- in large bathroom there is only one hack-where with kulturbeuteln and towels
- in the shower there is no place to put things for for example shower gel
- no free wi-fi in the rooms and the prices for wi-fi are rude
- the breakfast is for the ... quality and selection too expensive

Good hotel in the best location, directly on the Potsdamer Platz. One is very fast with the Brandenburger Tor, the holocaust memorial, in S-Bahn and u-bahn, as well as the Sony Center and various restaurants and bars.
The rooms are spacious and everything is clean. The trained staff mostly english spoken, because many americans only Marriott and Hilton know.
The breakfast is very extensive and well presented. If there however not be calculated automatically in the total costs would be, i would not be ready 31 Euro to pay for it.
At a corresponding rate i would book it again. read more

Modern hotel on Potsdamer Platz. Had a nice, large room with new wooden floors and a view of the courtyard. Front desk nice, however also not outstanding. At night it was a great event in the hotel, the made it impossible to sleep. So we complained at night 2 hours at the front desk. Only one offered us ear plugs in, then a 2. rooms. But we wanted to at night not to move, we have also the other room visited and there was no little quieter. After a long back and forth offered us the breakfast on the following ... day free as compensation at. Breakfast was until 15 o'clock, from 12 were also warm dishes. Overall delicious!
The new pool is nice, but small. Sauna a joke, not better than in the urban swimming pool. Gym modern, but small. For relaxing wellness stays not convenient.
Overall a nice hotel with fantastic location, cosy rooms and generally reasonable prices! read more

First of all, as long as the hotel renovated, i can not recommend, then perhaps rather.
Already for the 4. time we are in the Marriott Berlin been. For the 4. time also directly in front of christmas. With three visit our peace through renovations bother us. With the last stay we were before prior of which unfortunately not informed. The whole 8. floor was during our presence renovated - our room was on the 7. Already at 06:55 we were after the first night, roughly from our sleep. A different room we could not be offered. A bottle ... of prosecco and the big breakfast without an extra charge us as apologetic guests. More you could make, what we also so accepted. Nevertheless, such a thing in a 5 star hotel not happen. One us would at least before prior must inform. Relaxing the 3 nights for us unfortunately not and we must thoroughly, whether we again. Unfortunately. read more

Great organized, friendly staff.
The rooms are currently undergoing renovations, we got a renovated and were more than impressed. The furnishing modern and yet Marriott-style, bathroom great rain shower, everything with granite. Flat screen tv. As one it in such a hotel category wishes...
The access to the excutive lounge and would again and again make, as we the atmosphere enjoyed and always on the snacks and drinks. Nice service
Breakfast sufficient, but quite expensive, great connections to the transport but also much to reach on foot. read more

The Marriott has absolutely quality. The downsides were gathered in my stay exclusively in the area of breakfast service and check-out. The immensely costly breakfast was disappointing, as it is not properly served, no dishes decreased got, and the only friendly staff member strong was cold.
The small reception was with 3 check-out guests overtaxed, you had to wait about 10 minutes.

We had 3 days Berlin booked, shortly before prior we found out, that at this time the ' festival of lights ' take place. So we wanted a day early, our booked hotel was however fully booked. We therefore have the Marriott for an overnight stay tested and we were thrilled. Although you can for the price expect a great deal, but a good hotel stands and falls especially with the service. And the was perfect.
The concierge is on friendliness not to beat, has in the true sense of the word the legs off, to get us tickets for ... the hopeless fully booked 'festival of lights' -tour to get.
The breakfast was first cream, the but i had for this price also expected. And central than in the Marriott you can in Berlin actually not stay. We are definitely coming again. read more

Very beautiful hotel, clean, modern, spacious rooms, nice bright, very quiet - in spite of the central location you can hear no noise from the street on the rooms. I was in the 5th floor and had a view of the television tower. Unbeatable is the great location. The S-Bahn is directly in front of the hotel, all around are cafes, bars, restaurants, shops. The staff are always very helpful. My baggage was on the day of departure for me until the evening surely stowed away, so I the day in the town spend and my luggage not carry had. ... The Sony Center is in walking distance, as well as the panoramic tower. For judendenkmal, Brandenburger Tor and unter den linden, as well as the surrounding sights you can easily walk. For a city break really recommendable hotel. I would go back again! read more

The Marriott Berlin is located in a very central location, tiergarten for jogging just round the corner. In the area there are many nice local, in which you nice way to end the evening can. The hotel has freshly renovated room, otherwise the usual Marriott standard. Very good and big breakfast, fresh juice and very good coffee. The hotel has a own parking garage with access to the floors. All in all a very good business hotel. read more

My wife and I ( both 40 +) had the weekend stay for the Marriott decide, since this near the blue man group is.
After checking in we arrived into the room and found only once a black hair on the toilet seat. The adhesive nasensekret on the wall of the bathroom much as the weight. What a welcome!
An important part of the stay should the spa area are.
After a long trip from Hamburg we were looking for on the day of arrival the sauna area on. From the general central pool area is the access to the ... 90° -sauna, 65° -sauna, men- and women-dressing.
In the area of 90° -sauna there is only one ( ice) cold shower facilities, so that you were forced, always clothed by the general pool area in the men-respectively damenumkleide to go, for your liking (temperature after choice ) to shower. In the men-area was only a shower usable, since the other was broken. Again dressed go through the general pool area, then the 90° -sauna to use. Oops, the door will not close properly, as it is. After the sauna-use back cover, by the general pool area, in the dressing area again to shower. Where is the resting room? There are four loungers in general. Pool area, where the guests watch and again we see. Peace something different! Furthermore the back rests not in the equivalent to adjust, probably all broken.
All the above points, the conclusion, on cramp ( better image with the advertising) a wellness area in 2. the basement has been produced, instead of a generous and elaborate space concept, including exterior views for relaxing atmosphere to ensure. Sometimes less is more. On the basis of the dekten things the hotel's own priority and appreciation derive. The wellness area is that's why not recommendable.
But has the mini bar a computerised making inventories.
We would have liked to this review at the front desk leave, as long as the question would be, whether you have a stay was happy.
In addition to the 28,-Euro parking fees per day we come altogether concluded, this hotel not again to visit.
