The blue horse inn is one of the nicest B & Bs, I meet in the United States. Here is simply right all: very beautiful, historical house of 1831 (the annex from the year 1860), the very tastefully renovated and a rather modern decor features, the pleasant normally existing Victorian 'style disappearing' many other B & Bs flights, is the leadership of the B&B not informal as in other houses of this kind. Since the beginning of the nineties the house bed & breakfast used. the name 'the blue horse INN' was inspired by German Künstlergemeinschaft 'the blue Rider', special ... the painting of the German Expressionists Franz Marc played a role for the Namenswahl. very beautiful lounges on the ground floor. there are solely about 10 rooms, all differently decorated, photos and you will find a description on the homepage of the B & B, where you can have a reservation active. the garden of the B&B was unfortunately in the summer affected pulled the impact of hurricanes Irene, severe raged in Vermont. The rear of the garden river which entered the banks and inundated the garden. Fortunately, the house is a bit raised and so was the water. As an employee of the B&B told me, is the garden but except in the peak season in the year 2012 will be restored. of course, in a house like this nowhere smoke-free. read hotel review

Very nice and individually equipped rooms. The existing air conditioning I stayed at the October not required. For US standards rather small, on the wall mounted flat-screen TV. Pretty, small Sitting area with 2 armcharis available, but no desk. in the bathroom there was a hair dryer and a large shower with shower hose (a rarity in the USA) and a glass division, no bathtub. there are rooms in 3 categories (Classic, deluxe and suites, the price range is about 180 to 350$ per rooms plus tax). some rooms also have a balcony.

The Vorbend I was asked, when I would like to have breakfast. At the next Tomorrow I was however a bit too late, which but also didn't care, there is enough. The breakfast is prepared freshly and is so rich, that impossible everything can finish. Initially there were pancakes and very nice prepared fried eggs with bacon and sweet Particles. Additional there is also an small buffet, where you can for example yoghurt, muesli find and cereal. I missed something for example fruit, but compared to the usual breakfast in the United States that was really very good and therefore deserves the full marks, especially, because everything freshly prepared and very friendly was served. during the breakfast was also a CD with French Chanson. in the breakfast room is a coffee machine with capsules around the clock for free use available.

Very nice Staff members, the one on arrival to the room and with luggage helping are. In the first floor you must the stairs used, a lift does not exist. since you are usually vorbucht ( definitely advisable high-season!), accounts all formalities and you can go to our room. Extremely nice service included in the breakfast. I prefer a sun however from, the next the employee, for the issue of invoices is responsible, was not detectable and I had to leave without Bill (was paid however already in advance by credit card).

There is a tennis court, but I didn't seen, the heated pool in the garden was significantly affected pulled hurricane Irene and will, I hope, this year again usable his. Bicycles it seems also to enter. many books are available, after my memory, I also have some German speaking seen. complimentary, flawless Wi-Fi in the entire house.

Woodstock, Vermont is in a real picture book village. Here you can leave your car time and on foot a stroll in the place( about 10 minutes in the city center). Especially with the beautiful Autumn colors and with most beautiful sunshine is a real picture book village with some nice restaurants, coffee shops and stores. it also worth it, to sometimes secluded from main road going through the village to see. unfortunately October 2011 still everywhere Hurricane damage in the town to see, at all corners and ending but renovated, so that you can hopefully soon noticed nothing more.
