wonderful view from the seven floor, even better from the bar on the top 17. Floor. Breakfast very large selection, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, excellent, if a little expensive restaurant with the best wine selection, very competent service staff. read more

Problem is the poor access to the urban public transportation. So we were mostly on the taxis to your destination, which of course to the money. Hotel was great; but you should insist on a room, that is at least on the eight floor, otherwise you can not sleep because of the traffic noise. read more

The hotel has an official 4 star rating and is ok. It should not be arranged with love for, gross joints in the bathroom and the standard are not German standard. But who wants to Istanbul was serious about longer stay in the room? read more

The Marmara Pera is visible from afar berits goes from the airport you it as one of the Bosporusbrücken stands 17 storey house in the district of Beyoglu close to the historic Galataturms. From the outside the impression is therefore a bit ernüchtern, but inside for it. A spacious lobby welcomes guests, warm, but in a modern style, all decorated in the style of a design hotel. In cleanliness also flawless! read more

The hotel looks very inviting and well kept from outside. In front of the door and the bell boys are porters help unload. It is one of the highest buildings of the district Pera. It is right next to the television TRT up on the hill above the golden horn and Bosphorus. Nationalities mixed, mostly Europeans age likewise mixed, families, we didn't see any. read more

Modern, high-rise but inside nicely done. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was with us in detail but not as clean as I would expect from a 4 stars hotel. The towels were frayed, the bathroom didn't really clean and the windows unfortunately not so that you could hardly enjoy a great view. read more

You can have it right at the beginning to get straight to the point: the hotel is just fine with stimmigem fulfills! And the location can't be better: 1 minute walk to the Main shopping street, the Galata tower ten, 15 to the world-famous spice Market, located in the harbor. And all means of transport including historic tram right in front of the door and you don't really need not, because more acceptable to good restaurants, doner shops, fast food outlets, pastry shops, bars, discos within a radius of 1,000 meters you will hardly find somewhere else! But: until ... far after midnight roll also incredible crowds through the pedestrian area and most of the streets, you have to like or at least accept!
Still a few tips to Istanbul: no money in Turkish lira exchange, even if the tour guide in the bus most warmly recommended the hotel to do! Everyone, really everyone, rather euro, as well as coins and, in most cases, you can get the change in euro! At the moment, the course is 1:2 and it will always fair. At the airport you can only pay €! Convenient if you have lots of small notes and coins, respectively, then sashays paying in every situation without any problems. You can pay with credit card, except for the Amex, the one may not, except in the expensive international restaurants. Your comfort is charged with bank card, and the pin, were in fact therefor at home and no charges, the rate was really good.
A word to the Galata tower, divisive, 360° certainly not on the fantastic view, but the daily events taking place tourists. I gehöore to which it recommended: on the top floor of the tower is a restaurant, which is a all inclusive dinner for about €45, -. Therefor it is a four course menu typically Turkish medium quality and up to the end of wine (a sort of red and white) and beer, as well as raki, and of course alcohol-free. Quite surprisingly: the waiters as wine refills! should sales And even when we ordered a round raki, glasses were well stocked, you just asked if we want a Round.
The special tower is however the entertainment. You have a 3-headed life-Chapel, is Turkish Folklore dances to music and, also belly dancing-everything was well worth seeing and very entertaining. But: that guests from the audience gets on stage is surely not everyone thing, but you get the right talent if someone didn't want to! The conclusion of the good 2-hour programme denies a little old Singer, but it deserves the title. The guests come from all over the world, there are many groups and a small flag if the table occupied. The singer will then typical hits from the relevant countries to sing, which provides most of the good and important for great mood. I was there twice and each time I found you as good public policy, no drunk, none of the role fell!
We traveled with Marco Polo, I would recommend without hesitation, great organized, very knowledgeable travelscout, great hotel fulfills!
Conclusion: in every way succeeded, Istanbul is well worth a visit! read more

Hotel is super directly in a side street of the pedestrian zone (istiklal-Road), restaurants and shopping are abundantly available. Shops are open until about 23:00, even the Sunday.
Hotel is very clean, staff speaks perfect English.
Rooftop terrace and pool with beautiful views of the old town (topkapi/Palace, hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque).
Health club very good, with proper devices (2 Treadmills, 1 stepper, 1 bike and 1 a rowing machine, free weights available various)
Breakfast was very extensive (various rolls, fruit, warm dishes, fries, eggs and so on). Staff was very accommodating and tried hard, the used tables for ... the next guest back up to shape.
Conclusion: The hotel I can only recommend it and at the next Istanbul-we will visit on the Marmara-Pera back. read more
