wonderful view from the seven floor, even better from the bar on the top 17. Floor. Breakfast very large selection, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, excellent, if a little expensive restaurant with the best wine selection, very competent service staff. read more

Problem is the poor access to the urban public transportation. So we were mostly on the taxis to your destination, which of course to the money. Hotel was great; but you should insist on a room, that is at least on the eight floor, otherwise you can not sleep because of the traffic noise. read more

The location of the hotel in the district of Beyoglu is very good, the view over the Bosphorus is gorgeous. The hotel itself is a high rise with 17 floors with a restaurant on the top floor and pool and bar on the roof. The Istiklal Street is right around the corner and loads of restaurants, bars, restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity. Taksim square you would walk around 20 minutes.

The hotel is in the middle of the "Europeans district known the zone Beyoglu. In the immediate vicinity is and long into the night half Istanbul on my legs. And there is something for every taste: restaurants for all the pockets, bars, discos, jazz clubs and Istanbul Haupteinkaufmeile, their shops are open to midnight. But also in the historical old town with the classical sights (Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque etc. ) It isn't far. You had to walk about 300 meters to the so-called nice in Tünel less than the smallest metro station, the world with only two stops! And the takes you directly from the Beyoglu district to the Bosphorus and the Galatabrücke from where everything important is within walking distance. For a city trip so absolutely ideal!

The room was very nicely decorated in a contemporary style. The huge windows was against the city. From the 9. Floor was quite a few buildings far away. The room was large enough, but not oversized. We ended up having to consider, where the two suitcases space, because there was a shelve space. There wasn't a closet. The safe was free, which was extremely happy about. There is a flat screen TV with international channels (RTL II Switzerland). The bathroom was very small, had a bathtub. The room however, if you are traveling alone in the bathroom. As I have already described above we were not at all happy with the cleaning of the room and especially the bathroom. The mini bar was available, the rates but rude (small bottle of coke 10TL, mineral 8.5 etc. )

The staff was always friendly and the front desk was pleasant. The check in was smooth. Many people speak English, some also German. There was no Additional services, I would have at least a bottle of water in the room, though as you couldn't drink tap water. The water in the mini-bar was rude 8.5 (about 4.25 Euro! ) For a small bottle of. The room cleaning was also not thorough, the lamp remained the entire 4 days dusty. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, water spots on the trash not gegpoliert. The counter space on the sink were never been cleaned the whole week.

The location on the hill is second to none! Through the height of the building is the view of the roof absolutely gorgeous. There is also the pool and a lounge/bar. From the airport we needed about 40 minutes (ca 34 TL) back to the hotel, just far. The depending on traffic. A most of the route is however highway. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there were shopping; the Istikal street, which is a pedestrian area, extends from Tünnel to Taksim Square, about 2 kilometers. There are an abundance of shops and restaurants and bars. Also one can even with the Tünnel quickly the tram at the foot of the mountain, which then about the Galata bridge leads to the touristy interesting Sultanahmet.

You can have it right at the beginning to get straight to the point: the hotel is just fine with stimmigem fulfills! And the location can't be better: 1 minute walk to the Main shopping street, the Galata tower ten, 15 to the world-famous spice Market, located in the harbor. And all means of transport including historic tram right in front of the door and you don't really need not, because more acceptable to good restaurants, doner shops, fast food outlets, pastry shops, bars, discos within a radius of 1,000 meters you will hardly find somewhere else! But: until ... far after midnight roll also incredible crowds through the pedestrian area and most of the streets, you have to like or at least accept! Still a few tips to Istanbul: no money in Turkish lira exchange, even if the tour guide in the bus most warmly recommended the hotel to do! Everyone, really everyone, rather euro, as well as coins and, in most cases, you can get the change in euro! At the moment, the course is 1:2 and it will always fair. At the airport you can only pay €! Convenient if you have lots of small notes and coins, respectively, then sashays paying in every situation without any problems. You can pay with credit card, except for the Amex, the one may not, except in the expensive international restaurants. Your comfort is charged with bank card, and the pin, were in fact therefor at home and no charges, the rate was really good. A word to the Galata tower, divisive, 360° certainly not on the fantastic view, but the daily events taking place tourists. I gehöore to which it recommended: on the top floor of the tower is a restaurant, which is a all inclusive dinner for about €45, -. Therefor it is a four course menu typically Turkish medium quality and up to the end of wine (a sort of red and white) and beer, as well as raki, and of course alcohol-free. Quite surprisingly: the waiters as wine refills! should sales And even when we ordered a round raki, glasses were well stocked, you just asked if we want a Round. The special tower is however the entertainment. You have a 3-headed life-Chapel, is Turkish Folklore dances to music and, also belly dancing-everything was well worth seeing and very entertaining. But: that guests from the audience gets on stage is surely not everyone thing, but you get the right talent if someone didn't want to! The conclusion of the good 2-hour programme denies a little old Singer, but it deserves the title. The guests come from all over the world, there are many groups and a small flag if the table occupied. The singer will then typical hits from the relevant countries to sing, which provides most of the good and important for great mood. I was there twice and each time I found you as good public policy, no drunk, none of the role fell! We traveled with Marco Polo, I would recommend without hesitation, great organized, very knowledgeable travelscout, great hotel fulfills! Conclusion: in every way succeeded, Istanbul is well worth a visit! read more

Hotel is super directly in a side street of the pedestrian zone (istiklal-Road), restaurants and shopping are abundantly available. Shops are open until about 23:00, even the Sunday. Hotel is very clean, staff speaks perfect English. Rooftop terrace and pool with beautiful views of the old town (topkapi/Palace, hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque). Health club very good, with proper devices (2 Treadmills, 1 stepper, 1 bike and 1 a rowing machine, free weights available various) Breakfast was very extensive (various rolls, fruit, warm dishes, fries, eggs and so on). Staff was very accommodating and tried hard, the used tables for ... the next guest back up to shape. Conclusion: The hotel I can only recommend it and at the next Istanbul-we will visit on the Marmara-Pera back. read more

The rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated. The heater worked very well. The hotel is in the rooms huge picture windows, the a giant view. Far above!!!. TV was there, but only Turkish channels. We had a balcony unfortunately not. The safe was easy to handle. The beds are very comfortable. Tip, if you are not a couple's bay and a double room: One had a large ceiling for two. This can be rules but certainly at the front desk. The bathroom is small, but very stylish with large mirrors. I especially want to mention: the water pressure was very good!!! From the other rooms didn't hear a thing, only the quality of the street noise. That's why you right in the city center. The towels were changed every day.

In the urbanisation Pera are great shops and great bars. You have a wonderful selection of restaurants. Not far from the hotel is the historical tram toward Taksim. At the lower end of the line there is another connection to the city center with the "Tunel", an Art underground cogwheel railway. If you found the public transport connection is the old town very good. Unfortunately the hotel has no information about the connections. The transfer time from the airport is about 30 minutes.
