The Mövenpick is very centrally located: directly next to the hotel begins the shopping street and opposite essen's main railway station. Our room was big and clean. The staff were friendly. We would gladly come again. read more

Very good central location. Large and mostly clean room. The lateral files of the bed were dusty. Very comfortable beds. The bathroom also large and clean. Deeper access to the in the bathtub the shower. The access to the shower head wasn't close. The showers sprayed the water from the tubular section. Since only 2 nights skipped after complaining, therefore also no criticism of any response. The breakfast was good. Very pleasant and attentive young lady as service was noticed. For the bar was advertising for the 'cocktail of the day' made. With the order missing then ingredients. These were ... then but subsequently 'organised'. read more

For the guest a hotel, in that you be happy to return to. The traffic connections are very good, the main railway station is right in front of the door. Also by car very easy to reach, although in the middle of town located. The pedestrian zone starts right on the hotel. Plus: the new breakfast in the restaurant until 14 o'clock. :-) read more

The Mövenpick Hotel in essen lies directly at the main station at the start the pedestrian zone. The grillo theatre is also only 5 minutes walk, so i this hotel had selected. The facilities there is nothing to complain about, breakfast is with 18 Euro quite expensive, but it belongs to the best breakfast, which i so far in a hotel taken have, i would therefore definitely again areas. Only minor negative, itself on the 4. floor is the noise on a saturday of friends of the nightlife is good audible, a bit better soundproofed windows would be so nice ..., still get the hotel i have the full marks! read more

Value for money is simply brilliant. Has in any case worth it, even if it only for one day was! Great location, directly in town, nevertheless not too loud. The rooms were very clean and the bed is very comfortable! In short: if one wants to eat, then to this hotel! read more

Great hotel opposite the main station. Behind the hotel begins food shopping street, which within walking distance. Everything in the hotel is very well maintained. Particularly worthy of mention are the mattresses, it's like your sleeping on clouds and wake up in the morning really well rested from. Had a room with a view of the city center, it is very quiet. The bathroom is heatable and at night as well not turned off. Air conditioning is available, however also the windows open. Complaints are friendly and immediately taken care of. Absolute top city hotel. All of the staff very friendly and dedicated! Location perfect quality main station food opposite. No private garage, instead reduced parking in the garage akazienallee. read more

The mövenpick hotel in food is verkehrsgünsig directly opposite the main station located. The atmosphere in the whole hotel we found very pleasant. Especially worth mentioning is the bar in the hotel the particularly for us as whiskyliebhaber a massive selection at fancy sorts available. The parking situation is a bit inconvenient since the parking garage the with the hotel working together (discounted price) currently renovation works ( dust pollution) take place. read more

The hotel is centrally located on essen main station and is located therefore in the city centre. The pedestrian precinct with many shops begins as it were at the hotel. On the way there with the railways is quick in the hotel. By car it is also no problem ( Hold to load - respectively Unloading in front of the hotel is allowed). Only the parking is a bit 'stressful'. In front of the hotel there are 3 free parking, but this (of course) mostly occupied and it requires a little luck, to get. A public multi-storey car park, the ... near the hotel is, is by car the first times for local Unkundige adventurous to reach. By car one is' something ' on the way (about 2 roundabout behind the train station and then through underpasses and so on). Needs a bit of getting used to, but at the latest at the third time does not more-). The entrance area with the front desk is modern and the young team was accommodating, friendly and helpful. A tea - respectively coffee machine is also available and you can, if you for example evenings again in hotel room want, a free cup to be room take. The whole hotel mediated on us a certain flair, because the handelshof is a house with story ( Heinz Rühmann and so on). Our room was huge. We felt at home and the furnishing fit also to the hotel. The bed was huge and the mattresses simply a dream. The wardrobes were also very spacious and had because of the size lots of space for ' its seven things'. On a large desk there was also now a flat screen TV ( the last visit, it was still a small small CRT TV). The bathroom gives a top impression, is clean and modern. The rooms were cleaned perfectly and that to have we also daily with a tip honored. The restaurant also gives a very inviting impression. The breakfast buffet was great and it was for us nothing to moan about, only compared to the last stay there was but unfortunately no Mövenpick-yoghurt more (the, the supermarket to buy). The staff were also here very friendly and very accommodating. For us it was already 4. or 5. Stay and we will this hotel definitely during the next ' Ruhrpottaufenthalt ' again. read more

An excellent hotel with great traffic connection! Room was earlier is required, so that we prematurely could check in. Very friendly front desk with helpful information on garage Akazienallee. We were 2 nights in the Mövenpick Hotel. Very clean, quiet room. Wonderful comfortable bed. Modern bright bathroom with rubber duck in the bathtub. :-) Great central location opposite the train station and 5 minutes to the center with many shops and bars, restaurants etc. Only the parking (parking garage somewhat further away) was a bit difficult. read more

Everything very clean, good beds and pillows. Special Cushions on request brought into the room. Right at the train station and pedestrian precinct. Depending on location of your room you can hear the traffic respectively noise from outside. read more

The hotel makes basically a good impression and it is very centrally situated right at the train station. But: the single room and attached bathrooms are tiny. Otherwise the hotel has no parking garage or other own parking spaces. So you need to be in the public garage and luggage several 100 meters to the hotel drag. Especially when it rains, the absolutely no pleasure! Therefor unfortunately ( despite good condition ): not recommendable. read more

Really recommendable hotel, rooms are clean and spacious with all comfort ( air conditioning, tv, safe, mini bar, Wi-Fi). Stay was pleasant and the staff are very friendly. Gladly again! read more
