The hotel has about 380 rooms, which are also in the high season not were completely occupied.     The hotel is right next to beach, the distance to the airport you can with 50-minute drive to describe. The place Varadero runs an open bus, the in Cuba parada bus is known.     Our junior suite was huge, the furniture new and tastefully, the mini bar was daily again supplemented, there was bottled water, the air conditioning we could on our wished temperature control. The bathroom was large with a separate area for toilet and bidet, a bathtub and a large walk-in shower. The existing coffee maker was completely calcified and didn't work, we immediately got a new.

    At the beach we every morning the best couches, because the tips probably was good. Everywhere before the cabins there were showers. The entertainment we during the day not taken into account. In the evening started against 21 hours the evening show with a noise level like at a rock concert, we sat in the lobby bar and were able to leave our own word let alone that of the authority not understand.     The hotel is directly at the beach, only separated by a garden, a beach boy cared for beach chairs and towels. There were two beach bars with service directly at the chair and a Hot Dog- and hamburgers grill. To the airport and to Varadero it is 15 kilometer far, the next bus stop in 1.5 kilometer on foot to reach, but a small bimmelbahn drives directly from the hotel every hour to the next shopping center-there but only touristenware and it has already gotten very old.

For sure one of the best hotels throughout Cuba, however a proud price. We had Varadero not included in the program, so Germany not occasion and as spontanübernachtung 480 cuc place. This is certainly covered, us but nevertheless not spent, since we our penultimate night in Cuba not in a hole wanted to spend, what there is. During dinner fall one's eyes almost out, such a offer we stayed in almost 4 weeks Cuba never before seen. The Hotel Iberostar Varadero is any negative criticism worthy. Undoubtedly. Yap. The hotel is huge designed and features approximately 380 beds. The buildings are 2 until 3 storied laid out. We booked a junior suite, with view to the sea. But through the palmenmeer somewhat limited was. The wohlfühleffekt but nothing wear could. Already on arrival in the semi-dark, we had the home feeling.,this is a vacation to remember. What the nähstem day with daylight confirmed. The whole complex has cleanliness and is located in top condition. This also applies for the plants in the hotel and all paths ... and streets to the individual flats. A really strong praise, the 'invisible' diligent staff of the hotel. We had booked all inclusive. And also here again a winner. The buffet ( to all meals) left no wishes open and the palate of the many tourist was of the highest standard Spoiled. In the hotel were germans, canadians, french and how should It be russians. Last-mentioned Nation had probably style, but little good attitude to. Age of the guests was from 8a 80 mixed. For guests the on vacation not without computers do or want, there was an extra room where a man or a woman to your heart's content in the endless worlds of the world wide web. Could communicate. Live like god in Cuba in the Iberostar Varadero. From about 10 o'clock, the main restaurant and there is a scaled-down late riser breakfast at the pool restaurant.     In the Hotel Iberostar there was a slogan. I quote... Superb entertainment excellent. The entertainment team is doing great work. Always there always locally-always active-but never besetting. I have never been so a team with so much soul experienced.     The hotel lies at a long fine sandy beach and is for walks absolutely ideal. The beach is over several small wooden bridges in 1-2 minutes. Again service in completed perfection. The hotel is located directly on a fine sandy beach and the turquoise sea. Both at the beach, as well as by the pool there were always vacant chairs. The food was though not always hot, but every day there was a wide choice, with the really something for everyone there was. Absolute highlight was the gala dinner on christmas eve. The hotel offered perfect conclusion of our cuba trip. The rooms are very spacious and also the bathroom left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately you some rooms only a view of other zimmerblöcke and there is no elevator. The staff were very friendly and the service friendly. The buffet variëteit is immensely large and very good. Also the specialty restaurants are recommendable. The three pools are clean and offer lots of space for all pool activities. The entertainment team is not intrusive and the volume of the activities not disturbing. The direct access to the beach with beach bars is ... very pleasant ( unfortunately was the beach and the sea by hurricane 'sandy' in affected). The fitness center is already getting a bit old, but very clean. The spa -offer is varied and recommendable. The show program in the evening is very diverse and really well done. All in all a recommendable hotel. read more

My daughter and I stayed here for 7 days in November. The hotel was everything we hoped it would be. Beautifully decorated, clean and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful and always smiling. We traveled to Havana on a tour and were very pleased. The bus was new and air conditioned with an excellent driver and a very well informed guide. We have traveled to other parts of the Carribean and find Varadero and the Iberostar very pleasing and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a relaxed and stress free vacation. read more

The hotel and the overall facilities can only be recommended. All of the staff the entire area, from the front desk to the gardener were very friendly And attentive. If you're going on vacation in Varadero, then only in this complex. This is a hotel with a very good offer, super service at the front desk, in case of any problems (defective shower) immediate repair, friendly staff, no matter wether in the restaurant or the room maid, a move in a higher floor was possible without a problem. The area is very extensive, those who seek peace and quiet, here always finds a place, especially at the beach. The food was very varied and tasty, at the bars it was efficient matter. Unfortunately were the mixed drinks from the tetrapak and do not correspond not to the orginalgetränken. The evening entertainment ... was likewise varied, only the volume in the gangway was marginal. These were also the only flaws in this hotel. But were the two hotel during the round trip ( westcuba ), here chatau Miramar-Havanna and club amigo -Trinidad violence of the contrast. read more

    Excellent service in restaurant. Friendly and responsive service overall - on hotel territory, on the beach, in the rooms. English is understood everywere. German speaking personal is rather rare. Room cleaning is fine but not excessively perfect. Here and there room service forgets to bring shampoo or add water in the room... All would be good if not the reception. It was not about a single person. I dealt with 4 different persons - some more welcoming, some less, but none commited to help or solve the problem. First - I paid an extra money to the agency for the "free room choice" - meaning the right to get the room in my category which fits better to my requirement. First I have got a room overlooking the construction place with a lot of drilling work. I kindly asked to change the room. Fine, I was told, not today though - of cause all rooms now are occupide. But tomorrow. Next day I got a room with a balconi placed directly above the constriction zone. Ohh, you complaining again, we really do not have rooms better than this one. Upgrade to suite if you want to have everything, my friend. At the end I spent half of a day moving bags between the rooms - the call boy was of cause too busy with the new arrivals, only to get a very standard room just not overlooking the construction. Any questions I would have were re-addressed elsevere - note there are no consierge in this 5 star hotel. Fortunately, ladies in the tourist agencies and in the shops in the lobby were much more friendly and helped a lot.
