We were for one week in this beautiful resort, for us it was a very relaxing vacation, the location is perfect directly at the kilometer long sandy beach. The pool area is large and is situated in a beautiful garden with many cacti and tropical plants. Everything is very tidy and clean. The rooms are bright and friendly with nice bathroom and big balcony. The food has we tasted great very diverse and delicious, the staff is very competent, friendly and quick. The fitness centre comes with modern equipment. We really enjoyed the excess calories again to become loose. This hotel we could with a clear conscience recommend.

We had booked a superior room and it was really fantastic and great! A huge balcony with a great view of the beach and the sea. The furniture were quite new, including the bathroom spacious and everything was perfect. There was even a flat screen lcd-tv with great reception german channels. We also liked, that the fridge the minibar was empty and this itself with drinks refill could. The mattresses were quite hard, but in our opinion still comfortable.

We had booked half board and took the breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant a. The waiters in the restaurant were-as all the staff-always very friendly, hard and fast. Purchase orders for beverages left never for a long time to wait. The quantity of the at the buffet food was on the whole alright, but lacking in our opinion but very the quality and palatability, partially but also the choice. At the breakfast buffet were 2 weeks always the same sausage sorts offered. Mostly spanish sausage, for example spanish olives sausage, spanish salami, chorizo and so on. , the so not at all our german taste. Every 2. day (why only every 2. day?) There was also serrano ham on the piece and it formed immediately spend another vacation there long queues of guests. Everyone wanted something from this ham cut, while the whole spanish sausage naturally ended up. The bottomless orange juice from a machine turned out to be terrible fruchtsaftgetränk with high sugars. The offered fruits (pineapple, peaches, mandarins) consisted mainly of canned fruit. It is incomprehensible, as such a 4 star hotel - additionaly under german management-not fertigbringt german guests for breakfast an adequate sausage choice to offer or proper orange juice and fresh fruits. We are every year in the winter the Canary Islands and were on almost all islands in 4 or 5 star hotels. But nowhere we had such to criticize. It was similar during dinner. There was each evening another local issue and it seemed the food on the first glance immense. The rohqualität of the food was alright. But really liked us the food in the whole 2 weeks only very rarely. Here is certainly a high need for improvement.

The frontdesk was very friendly, the lady at the reception spoke perfect german and we were given a glass of sparkling wine as welcome. On the first day our room not made, which we only evening return to the hotel noticed. On our telephone complaint was reacted immediately and it came immediately a cleaning lady. General was the cleaning of the rooms still sufficient, but in our opinion, not very thorough. In particular the tiled floor was only roughly mopped and we had the impression, that dust and flusen rather only distributed, rather than removed.

On the subject of sport and pool we can not give them a rating, since we didn't use it. As evening entertainment the hotel a piano bar, where one until 23:00 from a pianist conversation i could, and the belingo -bar. In the so-called belingo bar gave it in the evening (except sunday) from 21:00 until 9:45 p. m. changing shows (acrobatics, magician, music, Flamenco). The capacity was rather tight, so that one itself after the dinner very quickly had, to even a table or seat to get. After 45 minutes was then conclusion (except on friday, then a band played until 23,30) and there were plates a joke. And always the same cd, the order of the music we knew after 3 days precise forward and backward. At the latest around 11:15 p. m. then started the waiters in the belingo bar, the tables clearing and the burning candle holder the guests right in front of the nose, which clearly only could mean: now it is time! So we could almost every evening just around 22 o'clock only to bed or in the room watching tv. This was the whole evening entertainment! Never before had we on vacation evening so bored! The cocktails in this belingo bar tasted us also not were not so great mixed. And what should you be a sangria hold, in which instead of citrus fruits small cut melons as obsteinlage are?

It is this hotel a relatively large, but nevertheless neatly arranged area with very nice gardens and plantings. The individual building are after the name of the canary islands named, which was quite helpful. Overall the complex a very well maintained and clean impression. The staff is permanently with the care of the grounds, paths and planting busy. There is really great, huge pools, which we however due to not use. In the whole hotel area-also in the room - stands free internet (wireless internet ) available. The connection speed is very good and high-quality. One must within the hotel again and again with the next router into the network connecting and new log in, but not a problem represents. The guest structure was international, mostly english, but also german, french and scandinavian. The average age was mixed, however, tended to be more somewhat older (50-70 years), but also younger couples with children.

The hotel is located on the northern outskirts of Puerto del Carmen around 2 to 3 kilometer away from center and almost halfway between the town and airport arecife. The complex is only by a narrow, little traveled road from promenade and beach. There is an additional entrance to the beach side, the door lock with the room card activated. One can kilometres away on the seafront walk. Either direction airport right at the beach on the runway the machines in the approach to watch (very interesting and recommendable). Or in the direction town center, whereby we ourselves predominantly the sea promenade the street went, as the opposite side of the road just annoying. There is far stretching a restaurant - mostly english- chinaläden, Irish Pub, nachlokal, cocktail bars, souvenir shops and so on. The next and you are constantly angequatscht. These shops and restaurants are certainly a matter of taste, we are just disgusted. It is here in the evening and at night a lot going on. Well, if this level need, may feel good. In spite of the proximity to airport, we took the aircraft noise not too loud or even disturbing.

The rooms are big enough, nationaltypically furnished and equipped with a 32-inch lcd-screen tv, with which on satellite all german programs receiptable are. The mini bar is on request filled, can but also be used as a fridge. Wifi is also on the room free of charge. The air conditioning works, but only cold, that's why we were on request for the night a heater available provided. The rooms are unfortunately quite noisy, you can hear loud coughing and the toilet flush next door. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and soap is every day replenished (if used). You can tell, that the german hotel management a lot of emphasis on service. The hotel has about 580 rooms, which on 5 individual complex (each to another island named) are divided into. The buildings themselves are in a circle around a nice pool and water landscape with cactus garden designed, which a pleasant wind caused, even if it, as for Lanzarote typical outside times quite windy should be.
