An absolute great hotel in a fascinating location within the national park and only a few 100 metres away from the falls. The whole hotel area is very well kept and generously. Very wonderful pool and attentive staff. Also the food was extremely good. In spite of the rapid change (mostly remain the guests only 1-2 nights around the waterfalls to visit) is no commotion. We would be gladly still 2-3 days we could have stayed longer. Pleasant was the short transfer to the airport. read more

The hotel has a unique location the visit to the falls. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and the rooms are very tidy. The cuisine is excellent and the breakfast was also great. Everything together it costs some, but by the location in the park and the direct proximity of cases will save you a lot of stress, time and money for drives and other.
We would the hotel recommend to anyone, the iguacu experience.
Tip: if you take a taxi on the argentine side is not the first take a taxi, because the location ... on one of the wonders of the world is mercilessly exploited for making money. You can up to 50 per cent save! read more

The hotel das cataratas is a only hotel in the heart of the national park iguazu with ausbkick of the falls. The hotel is very plush and tastefully decorated. The superior rooms around 25 meters², enough for two nights. The service pleasant and accommodating. The hotel restaurant offers a good kitchen with big offer. The prices are here quite high. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of a very good quality. The pool is big and clean. Definitely recommendable, a magnificent hotel.
The long trip from Germany to visit the natural wonder is, should not at the circa 300 Euro ... for the double room save. You save to other body and no hassle. read more

The hotel itself looks very nice, it is quite large, however it is everywhere clean and the atmosphere is also nice.
The pool is huge, has different heights and actually it can not at all that full, that it was overrun.

We were as a part of a round trip for two nights in this great hotel.
To get straight to the point: here something to moan about to have, you would have extremely search!
The staff were consistently absolutely friendly and accommodating, without being in any way fake seemed, had excellent English and act after forces everything, to the stay in any Respect great to make. In addition carried also particularly the kind decor with a view of the detail in, the colonial style decor. In comparison to other hotels on the round trip one had in this hotel immediately ... the feeling, absolutely comfortable, which especially also by the absolute cleanliness on the whole house, as well as in the restaurant came. As a small shortcoming you could perhaps say, that the building by the air conditioning quite cold was, in the room the but easily even rules.
Evenings one had in the restaurant the choice between à la carte and grill buffet - I can only the buffet judge, the more than enough and with the something for every taste was. The same goes for the breakfast buffet.
Since we round trip as total package booked, I cannot to room price say anything ( breakfast was included), merely to the restaurant prices. It was not cheap, but we found it adequate and for two days good acceptable (much longer you need a stay here, as it is a destinations' only ' the waterfalls there). We have for two days dinner in the restaurant with a bottle of good wine and water, evening cocktails and water in between per person circa 160 Euro paid. Not cheap, but we have it in no way regret, this hotel with its great location booked! Alone for walk directly after sunrise, as the national park is not open to visitors was, the worth it! read more

Even though we are rather purist and modern hotels prefer, has this hotel with its spacious interior design and the distinguished furniture a special colonial charm and one felt comfortable. Also the garden with the outdoor swimming pool was great. We were with a small travel group on south america tour on the way, therefore was this hotel perfect for us for relaxing. read more

We stayed for two nights and had no complaints. On the contrary, we were surprised by the service. 'bed service' in the evening, you will be able to enjoy from the bed and a ceiling ☺ the hotel was great, the location fantastic, the food was good but the cataratas has the monopoly there. This means the kiosks, free restaurants close 16:00. Dinner can be taken only in the hotel, if you don't homework in the city something worried or a car. Let us not rags and like to go eat good but the prices in the hotel, for ... drinks and especially for the food are coated. For a pumpkin cream Reails 26 pay? A meat dish 70 and upward. No. We actually both evenings the food were hard. Buffet food Reail 126 per person that was a point where we say: not more. Otherwise really nothing complain about. Very nice, newly renovated hotel in Kolinialstil on the Brazilian side of the falls. Breakfast buffet and restaurants with plenty of choice and top quality. Nearby no further nats rest aura. Well-kept pool area and attentive service. Superior room are unfortunately something small but beautiful furnished.
Excursions from the hotel partners were very expensive, better right at the airport for the Argentine side book a tour. It's worth it, also the other side of the falls to look at. read more

20 years ago was with this hotel loved it and nothing has changed. A visit to the waterfalls of the transportation situation to and from the great location the early in the morning, although no other national park visitor (locks to 9:00 a.m. on) are there. I was two days in the cataratas hotel. The hotel was booked on the hotel's webpage for 270 dollars and taxes. The hotel is located right outside of the falls in the national park. From my 'standard' could be the waterfalls on the Argentine side (and hear) see. The previous years can confirm the reviews I not. The hotel is now absolutely top-satndard and renovated. The room are equipped for the price range. Of course, the cost of the rest of the hotel deals in the same price range as the room rates. A club sandwich at the pool with ... two soft costs about 20 euro. I would highly recommend to take a rental car at the airport. Who makes the not pay a decent amount for taxis needed. The hotel is located in cases in the jungle, in other words by the city in the you need about 30 minutes with the taxi. Also the power station and the Argentine side with the waterfall about 1 hour by car away away.

We found the stay in this hotel was very pleasant. It is newly renovated, so is in some parts of the hotel construction, what but is not disturbing, since everything was very well defined and distant to the guests is.
