With half board available-but it was as a houseguest in their allied restaurant guest 2. class.     The terrace rooms are large, with huge bathroom, really clean and functional decorated. The covered terrace directly in front of the room is comfortable (beware mosquitos) and breakfast terrace used. The rooms without a terrace for a double room too small, also the bathroom. For these rooms, there is a covered breakfast pavilion. In the description mentioned laptops and the coffee machine does not give it. A pot of tea, then 5 Dollar to book.

    The complex is absolutely entertainment program free. The beach is deserted. For every houseguest is a couch with edition available at the beach, with 'baksheesh' also can reserve.     The building is located on a busy, very noisy street, the cross, to to the beach or to the restaurant. Time's villa one of the best and the cleanest guest house/hotel in the we during our 5-week stay in Sri Lanka have stayed. The rooms are beautiful, modern and furnished accordingly. We have also the pool and the fantastic atmosphere really enjoyed. The two housekeeper, and the service in the restaurant time villa on the other side of the road to the sea there were extremely nice and always tried, us to make everything right. The food was very delicious and creative. The service was super nice and always make an effort, to make everything right. And, although the hotel ... on the road is, it has not the slightest impact on life in the hotel in relation to the noise. We are happy to come back here again and again! read more

The inn is located on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka and is wonderful small and well arranged. We travel only in such accommodations, because large hotels not much. After a long trip you feel like on vacation and we were thrilled by the friendly front desk. Everything could, nothing must. My cold immediately with ortstypischem tea ( samahan ) supplied. read more

    The location the property is actually close to the life. Right in front of the house runs a street, the cross, to the restaurant to come, from there cross railway and falls into the sea. The road and resulting noise is not disturbing, because sinhalese sleep at night. Wants to say, that the traffic at night strong and in the room actually was not loud enough to hear. Otherwise the connections to the nearest cities convenient, if you in front of the house just on the road must face, a small trains to get. The train between beach and restaurant 'the british to owe', they transport a few times on the day, but far not so often, like in Germany. It is just Sri Lanka and is rather an attraction, disturbing. From the beach from saw, anyway no matter, because one rather on the sea look. That was also in August for swimming suited. Here the guest is king. Only small restriction: the breakfast something should be expanded. It was throughout the week right. The is however already the smallest hair in the soup. In the villa there really be comfortable. It is a small however very beautiful hotel with a beautiful Outside range and a pool the swim invites. The rooms are big, clean and very tasty furnished. They all air conditioning! The staff are very friendly and always aimed at that nothing at all is missing. The breakfast can individually be elected, fresher juice and fresh fruit are of course. "Amal Villa" is a family run hotel. You are being well looked after, whether it is with a morning tea or at breakfast that's being made according to your own wishes, in a comfortable atmosphere you can just relax and enjoy. We had booked half board, dinner was arranged at lunch time, servings of the 3 -course meal were plentiful. Requests for "just a salad" for dinner were accepted with a slight shake of the head and a particularly delicious salad was served. Reluctantly The quality of the food, whether it was soup for lunch or the ... set meal for dinner, was excellent. Freshly caught lobsters, prawns and fish from the sea just can't be beaten. The fruit were a dream, cocktails and beer simply good. Rooms are spacious, clean and agreeable, ours had a huge veranda on which breakfast and afternoon coffee were served. Air conditioning is available, as well as a fan. Beach chairs in the garden and on the beach. In short, if you cannot relax here, it's your own fault. read more

    Air conditioning, fan, double bed, dressing table, chairs, everything you could ask for. The closet is open, covered with a curtain - due to ventilation, there are plenty of storage spaces and a well-stocked library with books in various languages. The bathroom is big and spacious.

    Simply excellent. You have to follow the chef's menu recommendations, the food is very, very good.

    All the staff are very friendly and speak German or English. Hotel and restaurant are very clean. Everyone, from director Vijithe to manager Chan to housekeeper Amaree and the waiters Athulla and Ruwen, is very friendly, nice, competent and laid back. We can't tell anything about how complaints are being handled, as we didn't have any!

    Distance from the mansion to the beach about a 4 minute walk, you're crossing a road, some train tracks (trains are undisturbing) and are at the "Amal-Villa" beach. From the restaurant you have a wonderful view through the palm trees onto the sea. Swimming in the sea is only possible to a limited extent in June/July due to monsoon season, the beach is sometimes flooded, but the water is very warm. It's mostly only raining and thundering at night time. Merchants on the beach, if there are any at all, are very unobtrusive.
