Although we late evenings arrived, we were friendly and accommodating welcomes. We got instead of the booked double room a massive suite with a view of the roofs of Rothenburg. All of the staff are willing to help and friendly. Breakfast and dishes in the restaurant rich and tasty. From the terrace dreamlike view of the Tauber valley.
The hotel consists of altogether 4 old mansions, therefore a bit complicated respectively yet room on the other side of the street. Is however in spite of the age in good condition. Only the reception leaves with events because of the partial ... ban on the marketing something else to wish for.
We would gladly come again. read more

The location can't be beat, right in the center of the old walled city. Though the hotel is not new, it was kept very clean. It's winding hallways and staircases made for several adventures trying to get back to our room. There is a resturaunt located on site. read more

The hotel Aconite is a old-venerable hotel with very much charm and a great location directly at the market square of Rothenburg. We had a room with 'view to the green', the we very enjoyed have. The service was at any time very friendly and accommodating. Amongst others our car for a small fee from 10 euros,- / night in about 400 meters from garage parked and conditions on the day of departure automatically again on the doorstep. The building was extremely recommendable nonetheless for a city stay in Rothenburg! read more

At the hotel it is a very old building, the lovingly restored and modernised.
The from us inhabited room was at the back and was pleasantly quiet. It was a non-smoking room with a daylight bath.
The staff were friendly and always helpful.
Unfortunately the arrival to the hotel a bit cumbersome, because because of the event ' Stadtmosphäre ' many streets were closed. read more

Rothenburg O. D. Metric ton shows like Venice without water and the hotel reflects very nice medieval town.
The old architecture of the lobby, the large, winding central staircase and the arrangement of the various rooms have apparently& thank god still no ' contemporary architects' with its stunning dynamic, powerful 3D modeling program for Umbauvorschlag challenged.
Our room on the third floor with a view of the old town is timeless furnished, clean and everything available, what normal temperate-central European Mittelschichtreisende for a successful city break need. read more

Traditional hotel, in a historical building in really central location. The design of the hotel is impressive with all kinds of antique furniture and many murals. Our room was dated, well maintained with a huge bathroom. Here was a weakened large tub and a wall with meerjungfrauenmosaik! Everything somewhat older however very tidy and clean.
The breakfast complimented our expectations with huge selection and a pleasant breakfast room. Parking is available with a bit of luck on the doorstep (weekend) or in a pay garage.
Conclusion: chic, oldschool, definitely again. read more

The eisenhut a bit dated but appropriate for the city. As a city with walls and terrific old town, i would like to nothing modern have. Rooms please pictures look. If you with children book the larger room.
Price/performance ratio i think just at the border. Food in the restaurant good but also the price read more
