The Clef des Iles is a small self-catering complex with only four units, directly at the wonderful beach from Beau Vallon. Only a few steps from of the terrace and you are right in the sand. Each unit has two floors, in the lower area is living room with kitchen and dining table, in the upper level bedroom and bathroom as well as a small tvCorner. All units have a wonderful, unobstructed views of the Indian ocean with the lying off Islands of silhouette and North Island and the wide bay of Beau Vallon. Evenings you could wonderful sunsets directly ... from the living room / bedroom / balcony see and then falling asleep have the sea hear. Only one negative is the right high rate, if you consider, that it is a self-catering and no hotel acts. read more

The individual units are quite large and have two floors. In the lower part is the living room with kitchen, Sofa/ seating possibility and the dining table. You can have the doors wide open, so that one as well as in the open sits. In the upper floor is then sleep-and bathroom as well as a tvArea with sofa (one of the four units, as far as I know, two bedroom) and a beautiful balcony. All units and rooms have view of the sea. The furnishing is quite simple and functional, but fit to complex and the ambience. Everything was clean. From time to time sat small Geckos on the ceilings. Air condition there is no, what however didn't bother us. We have quite good with the fan and sometimes open window (you can hear at night the sound of the ocean!) work.

It is actually a self-catering complex, however is the fridge when we arrived with utensils for the first breakfast filled (eggs, bacon, fruit, juice, Butter, bread, etc.) and you get every morning a plate fruits (Mango, papaya or similar) as well as fresh Maracuja- juice served in the room. The kitchen is otherwise quite well with dishes, kitchen appliances, etc. Equipped. As described above there is in the immediate area three restaurants and a small store.

  • Service

Service and friendliness of the staff were spotless. We booked directly through the Homepage of Clef des Iles and got always quickly answer from Maude, the owner (speaks English and French). Maude is very accommodating and gave us lots of tips on Mahe. Although we because of our flight from Dubai case arrived early, was our room already finished. The Pick-up at the airport by its organized Mr. Claude worked perfectly.

External diving school right next door. Apart from that is the Indian ocean directly in front of the door.

The location could not be better. The complex is located right on the or on the beach of Beau Vallon and you need only a few steps from of the terrace down and one is already in the warm sand. The beach is relatively wide and easy dropping, the water nice and clear and there were hardly any rocks or corals as at other beaches the Seychelles. Even if the beach from Beau Vallon a bit busier than other beaches the islands is, pleased us with the best. Directly next to the complex is a diving school, the snorkel excursions offers. In the immediate area (actually still in the same building) is a pizzeria (Baobab pizzeria), in which one very good and cheap pizza and pasta food. Only over the street there is a further restaurant (the boathouse), the a very good all-you-can-Eat buffet for 20 euros per person offers, and about 2 minutes away on foot lies the restaurant 'La plage' (a little expensive, however therefor directly at the beach with good food and cocktails). Furthermore there is a small supermarket nearby. By car you are in about 15 minutes in Victoria and about 30 minutes at the airport. Public buses and taxis are available also.
