Around 3-4 nights in lively patong beach to spend is the banthai an excellent choice. What we especially liked: excellent location only a couple of steps over the street to the beach, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bangla road (one must at least see). From the beach i was not expecting much and was then positively surprised. Near a short stay is he, flat, really good for swimming. The entire hotel is very modern, looks fresh and has a spectacular lobby with a lounge and bar. The rooms are comfortable large and well equipped, with a very ... comfortable bed. Shower is unfortunately in the bathtub. We are actually no friends of pool access rooms. But in banthai are the deluxe room with the außenliegebereich very recommendable. Very pleasant was the personal care. We had with the receptionist nok a single contact for all interests, which we really appreciated and used. Generally we experienced the complete staff as friendly and accommodating. Plus: the efficient front desk in a separate area and that it is voravisiertem early-check-in around 08:00 already the room move. On the negative side is the poor sound insulation the room to mention. You can hear every türzuschlagen, every conversation of returning guests and sometimes even hear water running from the surrounding bathrooms. It was unfortunately very loud, by band from the restaurant, the bar in the hotel and constant bangings od drunk guests the riot and not about it worries. The room and the bed linen were not very clean and even after a change were almost always stains in the bed sheets. In the hotel pool would only chlorine tilting and was already green inside. The beverages by the pool are hopelessly overpriced. While there are many breakfast selection but it was unfortunately always the same thing. Despite 'do not disturbed' was just in our room gone. By the pool there ... was a rat, the we gave several times at the front desk but it would unfortunately nothing did. The beach chair mattresses were unfortunately also dirty. Through the noise i managed a whole night times nights sleep. At the front desk are information wrong and you need whole four hours to a fax to the room to bring.
Patong itself overall is also not recommendable! The dream vacation was a nightmare! read more

The hotel is in a perfect location. Only over the coastal street and you are at the beach, along the coastal road there is everything that you need. Restaurants, cafés, bars, massage and all shopping that you can imagine.
In the hotel it is very quiet. Evening games in the restaurant a live band from the balcony from super to be heard and to enjoy in the room is however peace.
The rooms and the balcony are by the size sufficient and modern furnished and clean, only windows clean you can't \u263a.
If you are over TUI get even the ... mini bar every day free filled.
Wifi is in the hotel very expensive (about € 3.50/hour) but there are in almost every cafe and restaurant 'free wireless internet' the enough for the emails.
We would definitely again holiday in banthai make.

The hotel has 2 main elements, each with its own pool area. It will be terrific, the tropical asian style with modern architecture to combine and for us perfect urlaubsflair to produce.
The entrance area right on the beach road. Is welcoming and spacious. Within the grounds we had no noise disturbance by the lively patong beach.
Also lots of russians, as you in patong grainfields there are, are in the hotel not negative. There are many australians in the hotel and phuket general. read more

This hotel was our start in Thailand.
I have to say, we have a backpack tour through southern Thailand and our first 3 days and last 2 days spent in this hotel.
We went on this tour lots of hotels see, and we find this hotel with some five star hotels in any case compete.
Value for money is reasonable here in any case and the 4 stars are also justified.
The service, the ambience of the lobby here is the HCLFHL.
We enjoyed this hotel good only we would never 2 weeks bear, because the beach and the city ... for us.
The beach is dirty, the loungers very old and the city overpriced!
But this is not with the hotel help! read more

The hotel complex is designed, that every room a view of one of the 3 pools. The building have 4 floors, some lower rooms, you over the terrace direct access to the pool.
the hotel has been modernised, the entrance area with front desk was very nice refactored.
the hotel complex makes a very clean and maintained impression.
on the final day before we left, were at the palms in Anfahrtsbereich, as additional Honor, new Orchiden in pots appropriate. That was already in our first stay a eye catcher.
on the property is at all entrances day and night Wachschutz ... available, the for the safety provides. read more

We were new year 2009/2010 already times in this hotel and it would again at any time select. It is in the second half of 2011 renovated/ modernized. The rooms and the lobby/entrance area are now colorful and peppy. There are unfortunately still no choice newer photos on holidaycheck set, but certainly. Otherwise everything is so, as my previous speaker it described have. We are in Phuket next time to avoid. It was too much away from the hustle bustle- a lot, a lot more than 2009. But who halli-Calli and annoying vendors like, this is the place to be. ... But it has nothing to do with the hotel, and is 100% recommendable.
to mention maybe still, the mini bar in this hotel (but only in TUI customers) is inclusive. The accounts for approximately 50 euros 3 weeks in from (only for 4 doses beer). This is a small 'Candy' TUI but only in this hotel. read more

Absolutely superbly located, only (like all hotels the area) by the road separated from the beach. This is in about 3 minutes of the bed in the room to the beach at the beach to reach.
Very well maintained complex, pleasant staff, top organization.
Certainly not the cheapest hotel in Phuket, but the money you should invest, in case possible.
Definitely recommendable! read more

The modern hotel is an oasis in the bustling patong. The pool was super nice and if you get a Deluxe room Bay, then one can from the terrace directly to the pool. Here you can relax during the day well. The rooms are superbly furnished. Very modern, spacious, quiet and functional. The cleanliness was absolutely great and you get beach towels, free flip flops, the Pademänteln bag to. The service is really good. To the beach it was only a few meters, but it was extremely crowded with tourists. The hotel is absolutely to be recommended, even if I ... personally would not go to patong. It is just too crowded and noisy. read more

The hotel is very centrally located in the center of patong beach. The patong beach is a of the most famous beaches in Phuket. Whoever sought peace and relaxation, there is surely wrong. Despite the many nightly hustle and bustle, you can sleep in the hotel at night. Is something disturbing only the thin walls. Sleep properly is unfortunately not possible. If the cleaning ladies starting from eight to travel, it is voerbei with sleep. Due to its proximity to the most famous street Patomg beach (the Bangla road) the hotel is very popular with younger people. All in all ... a very pleasant stay in this hotel. read more

The bathroom was not good, the sink was in the room.
The annoying thing was stupid of the guests by towel for the pool chairs, partly in the evening, but not until the afternoon appeared.
The management was apparently does not care.
What was missing was definitely atmosphere, the breakfast room was more like a dining room.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The direct access from the pool view room was our highlight in this hotel. The rooms were sufficiently large and always clean. The breakfast was very wide and tasty (Asian/very much fruit), even though the room was a bit of cafeteria. If you're on the terrace had was not an issue. We would not return to patong beach, as it was for our taste too much hustle and bustle overall was but in the hotel couldn't be heard. This hotel is definitely worth a visit ... if you want to live. read more
