The hotel is very well located, directly at the lagoon or harbor and approximately 200 meters to the smaller beach of Grado (the is in my opinion the nicer). The laguna palace has approximately 70 rooms and is new and decorated up to date. At this time of the year (december ) was very little los, what we found pleasant. read more

We were lucky, that we had a free upgrade to a family suite had, which made us very happy. There is no carpet in the room, which i very pleasant think. The suite was very spacious about 40 square meter and the bedroom by a sliding door was separated from the living room-very convenient if you have a toddler on the way is. In each room there was a flat screen tv. In the living room was a kettle. The bathroom had a double sink the shower was very big. There was a closet. Everything was decorated up to date. One of the most beautiful rooms, in which i was so far. The only thing i had to complain about, the mattress was very hard.

We booked half board, what i can absolutely recommend. Every day there were 4 courses, but the 2 main courses a few choices had. There was always meat or fish, depending on your taste. (example 1st tackled, 2. pasta with brown quahogs, 3. gilthead seabream meter potato zucchini vegetables, 4. tiramisu ) the food was very good! For our daughter there was always a extraportion, for example potatoes or what we wanted. The wines was very good, the price not very cheap, but with such a house appropriately. Because the hotel not fully booked, was the food the sky-restaurant serves. With breakfast (on the ground floor) we were very satisfied - the coffee was very strong, you could also Cappuccino, tea and so on order. In addition there were juices, water, scrambled eggs, eggs to cook, died. Cheese, prosciutto, ham, salami, fruits, compote, jam, cereals, bread to toast, panini and even brown bread (the bread is of course not so good like in Austria however for italian standards very good), muesli, sweet particles (more is not more ☺ For our daughter there was always a kids chair.

The staff was very friendly and most of the staff speak good german. Our 1-year-old daughter was this some child in the hotel and all were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were very clean, towels were on request always changed, bathrobe and slippers were also available. For our little one there was every day goodies on the bed.

For us was the absolute highlight the pool on the 6. floor. You could almost 180 degrees from east to west on the sea, harbor, lagoon and the roofs of Grado views. There were 2 jacuzzi, from where the panoramo-super view could be enjoyed. The swimming pool, as well as the sauna (steam bath, sauna, 1 times 60 and 1 times 90 degrees) is small but sweet. If you say can, then that the stones at the pool not more very nice spliced are. But that i could life.

Approximately 200 meters to the beach, shopping and restaurant in the immediate area, however in the winter lots of restaurants closed, but you can find already still some. About 10 minutes walk to the pretty old town from Grado.
