Hotel Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport^{(4 stars)}

Large and clean - Decor "tasteful average". Standard rooms do not have mini-bar.

We only had breakfast (for EUR 20 ,- per person! ). The breakfast is absolutely poor, not a lot of choice, supplies comes late, no real rolls, more of a Rosinenbrötchen without raisins). I guess the cost of their shopping at EUR 2 ,- per person (and that is really well intentioned). We had for 5 persons for breakfast EUR 100 ,- paid ... and no, there was no salmon or similar.!!!

Upon check-in staff explain little bit (Please be advised not to any special touches and it is a completely non smoking hotel). A from our child who travelled with us loved 12-22 had to couples on the day of departure EUR 150 ,- penalised because they had in the room. When customer service, you could for example again been warned that it is a non-smoking hotel. (after she apparently this noticed on the first day), but it was all the way up to the check out no NOTE- only here there was to be paid directly to the "fine" to.

Sport, entertainment and pool not available!

Relatively new hotel, big rooms, big lobby.

Very far out of Amsterdam/without a car, you are rather a fix, as far away from the action! However the airport-corner (planes taking off and landing in sight, but not to hear).

Room large and contemporary. There is no windows, as the air-conditioning. No mini bar and no toilet brush.

The breakfast buffet there was chaos. Too many people ,pushing in front of the little selection and very sparsely refilled, when something out. There are only 2 doors open to leaving the whole hall, so long lines. Evening buffet food for 20 Euro! , Soup, salads, meat balls, rice, potatoes, peas, no sauces and 2 different cakes. The next was the meat Hähnchenschlegelchen. So always only one type of meat. Or you ordered from the card, the soup for 10 - 14 Euro, meat about 25 Euro. But for Germans not legible and there is no translation. All other countries are better translated as German.

German have difficulty with the language. Only one man from the staff could understand. At least English highly recommended. On the 6th floor. Floor was on the roof has become a fan was very noisy, so we could even at midnight move to another room. There was unfortunately no toilet brush on any of them.

There is no entertainment in the hotel, no TV room. Only TV in the room with ARD and ZDF! No RTL or sat.

Hotel rooms decorated in a modern style, but for Germans only 2 TV channels (ARD and ZDF).

The hotel is very outside of Amsterdam. You must be at least 15 minutes, before you get to the tram for 2.60 euro to the city can use. Outside no entertainment or possibility.

Well-equipped, modern bathroom, big enough with air conditioning. Nice bathroom, but no toilet brush. No mini-bar. Not possible to open windows.

The bar / restaurant. Expensive rates. Breakfast buffet was like a normal hostel. No choice, flawed service. Sausage was very hesitant.

Staff was friendly and tried, but completely overburdened and understaffed. mess in the reception by taking Park Plaza (constant calls). Partly German. Room cleaning was poor, towels were only partially there.

Swimming pool and sauna not available. Wi-Fi 8.50 euros per hour, 22 euros per day.

Holiday Inn Schiphol was recently returned from the Park Plaza group since. Very large hotel, nor is of new construction. Lobby. Synonymous with a modern station concourse. Clean impression. Mostly tour groups.

Close to the airport. As a location for a city break unsuitable. 15 minutes to the tram up 30 minutes to the city center. No shops or restaurants nearby.

Size of the room was fine, no bathtub, no mini bar (! ), Cleanliness okay. Also here: for a hotel that € 187 ,- per night is the quality an absolute impudence ...... A rubbish value!

Guests of the 400 number suffered by the end of the first day heavy diarrhea. If that was the hotel food was, I cannot say, but because the gentlemen from different countries and not in the same transport arrived to expect, then that was very close. I even had only a unwell with Magengrummeln ... What was a catastrophe the quality of breakfast buffet. The cheese and let me tell you what had edges from the drying, the scrambled eggs was more like Eierstich in the Hochzeitssuppen (and also tasted like that) and the Brotwaren were dry and never fresh. In a low budget hotel safe ok (price for a one night stay here: € 187 ,-). an absolute impudence

Starting at the front desk to the bar/ lobby to the maid service: miserable, cynical, arrogant and partly disrespectful. I have ever experienced, and I do a lot of traveling for business in Europe. The front desk was consistently understaffed and the lady(s) arrogant and indifferent but always down from above. Like the Office 30 years ago. The waiters in the hotel bar had rather don't want, were also understaffed (400 guests a congress 2 husband!) and treated several guests absolutely disrespectful and also down from above. Seems a general objective of the management to the staff. The cleaning ladies close despite "do not disturb" trailers at 8 a.m. on the door and woke me very rudely. A request was not possible as the lady did not speak English, German or/ and not even Dutch understood.

We were within a European congress for 2 night stay at this hotel. It seemed to be fairly new, but rather of characterless impersonal nature, instead of Horts of hospitality and comfort factor. The cleanliness was ok and there were 400 people.

The location is in the middle of an industrial area on a busy street. There is a free shuttle to and from airport to the hotel, but they cost the shuttle back € 5 ,- a possibility by public transport was impossible to tell. The taxi to the city center will cost at least € 30 ,- or € 40 ,- at night.

Good facilities but no mini-bar. Cleanliness very poor. Dust and hair from the previous tourist.

The buffet dinner was put the quality of a bad Kantinenessens. Breakfast buffet very poor, fried eggs and toast had to be cooked. There were only slowly food refilled, so long waits. There was no butter or rolls at breakfast.

No command of front desk. Room cleaning very bad. course, foyer and desk reception dirty and dusty.

Removed, as not available or not used

Very modern and huge building. Tasteful decor. Cleanliness of the rooms was appalling. Shower, floors and desk with the hair covered in the previous Zimmerbenutzer. Was not the daily room service. The shower drain was blocked. Throughout the hotel there is a toilet brush in any room. Duschgarnitur leaked, sprays water in all directions. Very chaotic dinner or breakfast buffet with partly indefinable dishes.

Far out of town in an industrial area with no public transport connections.

Spacious bright room with two twin beds pushed together and the tiniest movement slide apart. Relatively soft mattresses. The hotel's suspended over the two beds pushed together picture was totally dusty. Throughout the hotel is "non-smoking", which was very pleasant. The room was spacious and neat and beautiful to look at. Especially the bathroom is optical an enjoyment. Nevertheless, in the shower hair from the customers before me and found the from these were slippery. noticed that the faucet the shower probably never cleaned from below. The shower fixtures, eventhough modern, but bad any requirements. The water runs but immaculate and it was so good that (not with a door from the separate from the rest of the bathroom shower) at the bottom of the sector the sink administering. The air conditioner works well and is very easy to use if you point that the room card for the electrical room only get stuck in a reader. But unfortunately the windows do not open. The room was, at least in terms outside noise wise, very quiet. However, we were there on a weekend and the neighboring construction site broke; whether you hear during the week we know so not. In the room is located at the bottom in the closet a safe, which is free to use and very simple work ... provided you kneel located outside. A mini bar was missing, at least in the could have got regular room, it is worth it. There is a vending machine in the foyer area, where you can buy for 3.50 euros a 0,33er. Telephone, PC connection and hairdryer are provided.

In the buffet CANTEENS area we had a dinner and breakfast on 2. We didn't like the dinner, especially as the actually warm dishes were very cool. The fish was tasteless and so was the best thing about the apartments. In addition there was totally ausgedörrten zusammengeklebte rice and pasta. The other courts were for us not edible. The dressings also had dropped to stir one spoon was non existent and had an extra in/out privileges. Salad bowls were constantly empty anyway. The breakfast consisted of gray regard sausage and already biegendem cheese. The existing fruit salad from "fresh" fruit was were fermented, apart from that there were only canned fruits. Yogurt and quark was good, as was the jam, however there was no bowls. Unfortunately no napkin holder were in the whole restaurant area to be found and after already used tables very late "set" (knives and forks and napkin), you had to get a napkin the neighboring table. There were only a soft bread that you could be toasted in Durchlauftoaster.

The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was constantly empty, but the staff at the hotel have attempted to refill the demands comply with reasonably friendly and efficient. The waiters were visibly overstrained and have been bussed the cutlery from the plates several times may be, just as you the sauces from the nip breadcrumbs plates all over the floor and not wiped off.

The hotel is like a glass concrete block, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of an industrial area, right next to a huge construction site. The decor is cool but classy, the breakfast room seemed more like a conference room. The rate in the group per double room cost 100 euro including breakfast, but it was the breakfast area Kantinenartig and from the "extra paying' guest separation. The whole place was no information to find when it breakfast. Information about the hotel, at least, only in English and only in the difficult to operate TV. But we also have found nothing about the breakfast times. The carpets in the staircase and the hallways were clearly verfusselt and made the impression as if they had been vacuumed for a long time. Directly at the hotel there was a large parkland, also an elevator to the building. In total there are 4 lifts which only with the room card to use.

About 15 km out of Amsterdam, directly on the approach line of the airport and relatively close. Right off the interstate, so good to reach by car. In the middle of industrial area, but we didn't see a train station has a bus stop. All around it was a coastal waterway, its edges of numerous ducks and swans, so it is completely verkackt clearly smell.

The housekeeping staff fought about loudly in the hallway, who is responsible for what/unfortunately you disagree ..... The crumbs were 3 days on the floor, the used cups were used every day as, without exchanged. The sink was all the days not wiped, and the beds were closed and nothing more. A toilet brush was not available,

The staff is friendly ... unfortunately I've not seen with a cloth, where the tables be wiped and everything on the table is on the floor washed ... I had to go back 2 chairs, as here also leftovers from the table ... the breakfast room has an atmosphere a glorified youth hostel ...

One had to search for the entrance. A new hotel with several errors, as the architect its planning the ramp the buses thought. It is too short and steep, so the buses at the back and the front sombreros afterwards ... It's not too bad all details about the TV to make for the elderly, sadly the bad and there was also many people who are not very familiar with technology ... Information for guests, are also on the TV shown unfortunately only in English ... It should be something about where says how the all about the TV is going ...

Not suitable for elderly or infirm ...
