Trip shortly after the Sandy this year durchgerauscht was. Fitnessareal in the Basement of the hotel so flooded. It was initially offered a nearby gym to use, which then nevertheless as ruse turned out to be. Ultimately reduction of the room stay. Junoir suite spacious and modern. Nice bathroom. However used materials (veneer - IKEA-like) not very high, partly. Also some signs of usage-broken corners, cabinet clearly damaged. Air-conditioning worked nonstop on circa 26 °c, since heating season had already started, what you on demand then Any manipulation of of the airconditioning brought so nothing. The proposal the front desk: ... air condition off, then it would cool down and/or in our absence you would the windows open (10. floor). Breakfast very tasty in very nice ambience, but also high prices. Overall rate more the location oriented than the quality the facilities. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful hotel and a good springboard for nyc tours (all major subway lines lead through southern Manhattan/wall st financial district). We have in the beds also quite a good night's sleep. read more

For our trip to New York we have made a conscious decision to the Hotel Andaz wall Strett decided.
The hotel lies absolutely central on the corner Waterstreet / Wall Street in the financial district. The subway station' Wallstreet' is within walking distance, 5a maximum 10 minutes. From here one comes with the line 2 or 3 in a short period of time everywhere back. The Time Square you can reach both with line 2 or 3. free Subwayplan there is in the hotel.
The financial district, the location of the hotel from super good on foot explore. Pier 17 ... and the Brooklyn Bridge beach chairs directly in front of the house and the Battery park, as well as the ground zero can be reached in 25 to 30 minutes.
For the drive to/from to the airport JFK we have a limo service instructs. Here you should approximately 45 to 60 minutes plan.
So now a couple more information to the hotel. The staff has uS friendly welcome and was always very polite. If you stay here a typical front desk expected is in the wrong place. One immediately at the entrance front desk and a iPad will the nice staff checked in.
Our room was still not immediately bezugsfertigt, but we could without problem the luggage in a trunk store.
The rooms are for new York standards extremely large. We had a king-size bed with flat screen with direct view of Wall Street. There was a large black tiled bathroom with walk-in shower included shampoo, shower bath and body lotion. A very good funktionierenter hairdryer is also available. The content of the mini bar included snack's was free and room price features. Must be paid only the alcoholic beverages. Free WiFi is in the room available. In the lobby there are for the whole day fresh coffee, which also not had to be paid.
This hotel is absolutely recommendable and we will be there for our next NY stay definitely stay there again. read more

The hotel lies directly at the corner Waterstreet / Wallstreet in the financial district. The drive from the airport J. F. K. takes about 1 hour. The staff are extremely accommodating and competent. The rooms for a city break a dream. Large black tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. 2 King size beds and flat screen. In the morning you get fresh coffee varieties of all kinds, including mini -muffins amongst others - everything in the room price included. The content of the mini bar ( besides alcoholic beverages) is filled up every day and is also in the room price ... included. Everything was extremely clean. This hotel is very recommendable. The next Subway station is in Wallstreet about 100 meters away from the hotel. From there you can directly about minutes the Timesquare. On foot is the Battery park, ground zero, Brooklyn bridge, pier 17 to reach. Everything not a problem. A small as: cigarettes are in NYC extremely expensive, as the city NY a extra-Tax demands. For us it was the first stay in New York. The reception was exaggerated friendly with a cup of coffee welcome. The hotel lies directly in wall street and is therefore a bit remote from the action. The entrance is very nice and. From the room itself we were disappointed. In our opinion rather a 4 star hotel. The rooms are normal large and on the first glance quite modernly furnished. When one sees however, that it nothing special and also the degree of wear relatively high.
The bathroom whereas is very big and in dark brown/ black color Tiled. ...
Positive were a well-functioning, silent air conditioning, a very large flatscreen tv, a king size bed and a free standing mini bar. Also the fitness room was very good equipped.
Negative whereas was partly an enormous noise from upper floors ( private apartments), as well as very poor cleaning the room. This hotel we would not recommend, but just go and have a look, if you better finds. read more

The location is ideal, transport in the immediate area. With the subway one is in 20 minutes in the center. The waterfront in the immediate area. Good walking Shoes are a plus. Weekly pass for the subway 29 Dollar you don't need more. Hotel room for New York unusually large, bathroom spacious but too dark. We had in the hotel no problem also with bad English knowledge. The locals are very friendly and accommodating. No negative experiences made. All in all a good hotel in an impressive city. Tour of the town, circular flight with the helicopters and the Pearls ... of Rhodes via internet booked everything worked super. Seats on the plane on time book and the flight is also an experience. Wasn't the last time at the andaz. New York is definitely worth a trip, planned not all days let you always a day air. To see there are sufficient. read more

I have stayed in various luxurious hotels ( Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt, Radisson, etc.) stayed overnight, but at this hotel arrived none up.
From the outside it looked like a large concrete block, but it was excellent in Wallstreet.
The staff are accommodating, friendly and competent I have never before experienced.
The rooms are very modern decor, the bathroom was fantastic.
On the room is free Wi-Fi available.
The mini bar and snacks ( except alcoholic beverages) are free and will be refilled daily.
The location of the hotel and the traffic connection was super.
Directly opposite the hotel there ... is a supermarket.
Parking costs 44$ per day.
The hotel has naturally its price, but I would book it again and again and would recommend it to anyone. read more

The hotel lies at wall street corner water street. It seems to be very new and the main target groups are probably Bänker from wall street, even if we were. About us:we are two guys, middle twenty and we did not want to take large party, like most the now suspect, but we see the city. The hotel so downtown Manhattan, very central, good traffic connections. The area is very clean, one goes out and finds the in New York usual restaurants only a few streets further. The room was very modern, a huge large shower and a very ... modern bathroom were great. The bed was huge, large tv, even if we never used. Lighting and shutters was electrically. As the air conditioning worked we did not get out. But that was more to us, we would have just asked, but then not more so important. In the room there is a fridge, the every day newly filled with (non-alcoholic ) drinks any kind (coke, coke light, Sprite, water, Tonic water, orange juice, water still, water effervescent and so forth). These are free of charge. Alcoholic beverages costs however. We have but we didn't make use of it. Had on the final day problem with the door of the shower, this castle not more properly. The problem but had the service staff when cleaning causes. Everything was other as a problem. Simply bescheidgesagt and the staff could immediately drum cared. As to our last day and we were just checked out, I cannot judge, whether and how quickly the was repaired. I would guess, I would say, however, that, as the rest of the service, and immediately was. The staff were very, very, very capable, knew always informed, really friendly. I would at any time come back to this hotel. Absolute recommendation! read more

The hotel is very good and offers a very high level of comfort. The rooms are big enough and above all, very clean. Unique for me was the free use of mini bar for non-alcoholic drinks. After a family celebration in new York had, we had some 'special requests', the absolutely easily dealt with. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. In the lobby there was the whole days coffee, water, juice and fruit free of charge! On my next Ny visit I will stay at the andaz lodge. read more
