It is reasonable value for money. The location to the train station, subway and bus excellent. Very clean accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff. Internet-free of charge for guests. Breakfast I don't know, because not used. Non-smoking property. read more

I was traveling with friends and we had a four-bed room. The room had a nice youth hostels (bunk beds) character, but it was absolutely okay for those top value! It was clean, the beds and each had two towels. Our bathroom was very clean. The furnishings were sufficient. A large closet, desk, chairs, night tables and a lamp on each bed. No tv, hair dryer, etc. the front desk was nice and the Lady was very helpful. About the food I can say nothing, because we are nice cafes (and there are tons in the area) for breakfast were ... looking for. In general, the location is great! A small mall with parking garage around the corner, nice restaurants, bars, snack bars, cafes and shopping possibilities were only a few steps away. And the S train station Altona-(and long distance) there are only a few minutes. Unfortunate is, our room was not cleaned (we were at the first attempt by the maid in the room) and that one could not pay with a card. read more

The decoration of the room was enough. It was bright and friendly. Everything was clean and the train station is only a ten minute walk. The pillows could have been more, but it was okay. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. read more

This is a hotel tip for young people who want above all: save! The comforts holds itself within limits of course, the breakfast is sparse, but okay! The hotel is very well connected to metro! If you want, you can get very little, but therefor in the hotel everything was in order and total functional. read more

Good is the central location, from the train station Altona good public transport connections (to the airport).
The price/performance ratio of the hotel is okay.
6.50 euro for breakfast was very good (everything organic products)
Sad, that no seating in the courtyard are.
Sad, that in the run-up to the construction in front of the house has been informed (the advantage was, there was no cars drove across the street!
We would stay there again anytime. read more

The hotel is perfectly suited for a stay in Hamburg. Very centrally located with perfect connection - walking distance about five minutes to S-Bahn station Altona. The room was clean, as well as the bathroom. cant comment on food cos didnt use it. The hotel is in my opinion especially for younger people very highly recommended - I was with two buddies and we had the BEST time. read more

We've now been there twice in the Schanzenstern and can certainly recommend it. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. The same goes for's bathroom. Only disturbance factor is the clairaudience of the rooms, including the sleeping quaity terrible blow just returned last visit. The location of the hotel is perfect- in a few minutes we were beside the Altona Station, and there is also an great shopping center in the immediate vicinity. Still, the hotel is in a little side street rather quiet. So book - quiet! read more
