The hotel is located on a busy main road. The old main building was very old Windows, so you can hear the street were very loud. The main building has been carried out for many years not been renovated and the decor is old and worn. The balcony floor is carpeted and Eternit. The owner is the chef, is a member of the society. The dinner is delicious, but the Swiss (steak 45 CHF) level. read more

The Hotel Blumlisalp is a clean, friendly, family-run hotel, with excellent food in a wonderful location. I spent a lovely week here in August and will do so again. The chef is renowned in the area, and never disappoints. It is close to all local village amenities, including the open-air 25m swimming pool. and is in an ideal location for some spectacular walks and hikes. Above all, the attentive service is what will make me return, and i would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone. read more

Excellent family run hotel. This is our fourth visit in three years, and hopefully there will be many more. We have already booked for next year. Cuisine and service excellent at all times of the day. Bedrooms were clean, fresh and serviced daily, with a high standard of presentation and attention to detail. All areas of the hotel are clean, bright and comfortable, with a games room and toddlers room in the basement. We can only speak highly of the management and staff of this hotel and would recommend a stay here to anyone. read more

    The accommodation was very comfortable with high standards of housekeeping. Our room had a beautiful view.

    The food was consistently very good, with imaginative menus. Lunch was available on the sun terrace. A la carte could be ordered but the fixed menu was of such a high standard that we had this menu each evening. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

    The hotel is a 5 min walk from the station and central in the village, with shops and outdoor swimming pool nearby and the chairlift to Oeschinsee within 15 min walk. Train connections are good to the Valais and other parts of the Bernese Oberland and in 90min you can be at Stresa in Italy. The mountains around the village are beautiful.

For over 15 years we have come to this hotel (summer and winter) and find the atmosphere and service always very welcoming. Very many of the hotel guests are people who come back year after year and that surely says a lot about this hotel. The food is excellent and all the facilities of the hotel make for a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. It also affords the opportunity for those who wish to be more active and make excursions to other places in the area. I have no hesitation about commending the management and staff of this hotel. read more
