Value for money hotel good, everything very clean. Room without criticism, bathroom nicely furnished however because of the glass bricks and not close closing sliding door not really reasonable, unless one is friend an acoustically-visual communication between toilet and bed. Good thought, practically badly converted and reason, the hotel not again to visit. Very good but expensive were restaurant and bar, staff really hard. The because of the construction equipped exilbar was comfortable, special requests from the staff in spite of the limited possibilities accommodating solved. Not so good when reservation over hrs, that the card details used to control ... be applicable (as everywhere otherwise) and then on arrival in the hotel should be paid, surprisingly but directly after booking and 5 weeks before journey the credit from the hotel charged. Breakfast with 22-per person and day too expensive, therefore in the prior canceled (possible without a problem, very friendly check in!), at the end but then on the bill standing, although not used and surly withdrawn. Unfortunately, from an earlier stay i had the hotel better in our memory. read more

The Hotel Mövenpick centrally located in Berlin nearby the potsdamer platz (S-Bahn stop Anhalter Bahnhof) and is with public transportation in the best way attainable.
We had with tchibo travel a Mövenpick arrangement (2 nights inclusive breakfast buffet, welcome drink and a berlin currywurst with rolls. When we arrived we were at the front desk very friendly greeted and quickly checked in. But a welcome drink we have not got, only the coupon for a currywurst.
Our room was on the 5. floor (top floor with partly slanted walls), was spacious and very tastefully equipped. It had a wardrobe, other ... staufächern for the clothes, a large desk, a huge flat screen tv, minibar and safe. The bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) was likewise roomy and nicely furnished.
What in the room unfortunately not was available, was a ( zusammenklappbarer ) suitcase. To unpack you had to either the suit-cases on the bed be highlighted or on the floor unpack. On the round glass table we could not believe it not.
The hotel offers a spa area. In the locker room were sauna towels and slippers available. Bathrobe we unfortunately had not in the room.
Although noisy hotel info the sauna hours from 16:00 to 23:00 should be, was the room temperature in the finnish sauna at 18:30 o'clock only 40 degrees. After complaint we could then after about 1 hour believe it or not 72 degrees at the thermometer reading. A total of the guests for of the sauna a bench and outside in a relaxation room exactly two (!) Chairs available. Also the selection of equipment in the gym (four devices) is very poor, if one considers, that the hotel approximately 300 rooms has.
On the first evening we have the coupon with the currywurst in the restaurant redeemed. Behaviour of the staff aroused in us the impression, that we as currywurst guests (on a voucher) not so very welcome as guests, the à la carte ate.
Also at the breakfast buffet pointed out the service shortcomings: many tables were on the 2. day without napkins. We have green tea ordered. The friendly employees said to us: 'but' -and we had to wait more than 10 minutes. No tea was brought us. We ordered another employee again and got the desired in 2 minutes. Apparently it was for such a refined hotel of the staff too much requires, that a minute notice may, which guests have ordered and this will bring. Also was interesting to watch, as the staff approached with blinkers on the restaurant goes. Used cutlery was only collected, if the guest of this on a neighbor table turned off or with breakfast was ready. At my complaint at the front desk i only got a shrug and a apology for the service. In doing so, such things but targeted off!
Guests, for wellness Mövenpick or a high service standard even at breakfast expect, will be disappointed. On Anhalter Bahnhof there are (at least) 5 hotels. The best experience i have with the relexa hotel.

The Mövenpick Hotel in Berlin is a typical business hotel, is but also great for city breaks.
We were in Berlin, as a message had and used the chance 2 days Berlin still to hang.
The hotel was currently under construction, but not reciprocate and not at all disturbing. Our floor / our room was like new and very clean. Check-in and check-out was a matter of 5 minutes.
Because we with our daughter in the hotel were (3 months), we also in 10 minutes a great baby cot available. It was new and there was even great cot linen. ... First there was no kettle/tea station in the room us however on request also immediately brought.
The breakfast we did not use, since it with over 22 Euro definitely too expensive is, even if the quality very looked promising. read more

These is a very nice and stylish hotel in an old finenzamt.
The rooms are built interesting, the bathroom is from glass bricks built.
There is even enough outlets around the desk and also the beds are ok.

A very good, centrally located and recommendable hotel. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and informed extensively about the hotel. The bar is under construction and unfortunately only offered as an 'exile solution'. Once it is ready, it can only get more positive. Quality of the dishes, as well as the selection of the extensive buffets for breakfast were excellent.
Only the service who cleaned the tables could not keep up. Wir hatten zum Teil mehrere leere Teller, Schälchen und Besteck auf dem Tisch stehen, was nicht immer angenehm war.
For a next stay in Berlin this hotel is ... the first choice for us. read more

The hotel sparkles especially due to the good and central location, the promised room type was only one of the two (package with binoli ) booked room complied with, a package actually contain voucher for a curried sausage-stand us only when checking out in the hotel offered (the us however also not so important). The travel time was the 'anhalter bar' in the construction/new building, it was only a small, separated area beside the restaurant as bar area available, the straight times about 15 seats offered, which however during our stay was also completely sufficient, since the bar was hardly ... used (perhaps therefore?). Something disturbing we felt, that this bar on the first day also for a ' closed event' only from 9:00 P. M. opened. On the day after our check out was for example also the closing of the restaurant from 2:00 P. M. for a event announced. This shows, that the hotel mainly on business -events designed, free beds are in addition to tourist/city-traveller sold, is however not the main focus, even if next to the reception a kind of tourist information is housed, which we however not used have, since prior to already their own plans were made. In summary: a tidy hotel, very good location ( only few minutes on foot for example to the Potsdamer platz, barndenburger gate, checkpoint charlie, the jewish museum, Technikmuseum), but the atmosphere is not mainly tourists relax in comfort and style. Furthermore wudren the two ( in advance and arrival) promised smoking room ( all on the 4. and 5th floor) was not available and it was a room on the 5th floor and a room on the 2nd floor assigned, which one could as 4-headed travel group also different would wish for. The room on the 5th floor pointed out furthermore strong nutzungsspuren and was also in the sanitary area only on the first glance really clean. Altogether nevertheless tidy, but rather 3.5 stars! read more

The Mövenpick in Berlin is centrally located and has a S-Bahn station on the doorstep.
The Potsdamer platz is convenient to reach on foot.
Room and bathroom are a bit small, however well and tastefully decorated.
The breakfast is served as a buffet and is rich and of good quality.
Staff at the bar, front desk and in the restaurant are very friendly and willing to help.
All together a lovely stay. read more

This hotel is actually not to describe, as almost everything Mövenpick also means holds, what it promises. The rooms fit and are very modern decorated, the breakfast resembles rather a brunch, as it more than enough is. read more
