- Room
The room was very big, so everywhere despite luggage much room to spare. The furniture is in very good condition. The room is very much on the conservative side, with dark furniture. The technology is state of the art standard (e.g. B. LCD tv, internet, good being commissioned etc. ). We didn't have a balcony, there was also no minibar, but it was the free safe with us, as well as always in Canada the coffee machine and iron. The bathroom was also very large with plenty of shelf space. A small thing that can be that, while there is huge shower, but no bathtub. Also the free toiletries were always refilled and were really good. Overall nothing to complain about the room. We felt very comfortable and slept great.
- Gastronomy
There was a restaurant in hotel, but nearby (not only in the mall) there was a lot to choose from. In return, however a complimentary breakfast, the following: juice, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereals, muffins, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, varied eggs/pancakes and bacon, jam, peanut butter, yogurt, etc. All in all very delicious and much more than what we otherwise a continental (free) breakfast. My only complaint is that everything with plastic cutlery and dishes offered. This is not just kind of very unstylish produces also shoals of waste. Breakfast is more or less in the hotel lobby, the atmosphere is very pleasant. On the weekend with the many families but it was a little cramped.
- Service
The hotel promises a money back guarantee, if you are unhappy with the services. And although the sound strange and I don't know if you would really be money refunded, but I have to say that when you stressed commitment at any time. The reception we received at check-in was extremely friendly. The cleaning of the room was always spotless, additional services are also offered such as. The free breakfast (or a space to laundry facilities etc. We didn't have any complaints, but definitely would these handled quickly. A particularly nice touch was also that it was on the wednesday a short welcome from the manager was always on Wednesdays (maybe between 17 and 19 hours?). In addition there was a cocktail and finger food are also on sale. The manager was very friendly and put a lot of effort to have the hotel feel very welcome. So when we were there it was at any time.
- Sport & Entertainment
This hotel has a pool and fitness equipment. This but we did not use it. They also have free Internet access, the very fast and worked great (wired and wireless). Other animations, etc. Not offered.
- Hotel
The hotel is located in Westedmonton and is perfectly reachable by car. All in all it is an area with many hotels and fast food chains, to downtown so a bit. The hotel has 5 floors with free car parking and is in very good condition. The hotel lobby made very luxurious with a nice marble floors, nice sitting areas etc. Especially great we found that there was a free breakfast, that for Canadian standards also really let itself be seen more (see below). We were from Wednesday to Saturday in the hotel. During the week were especially business travelers and was mostly elderly people, on the Friday but left many families with children there, apparently there was a hockey tournament with quite ...
- Location
The hotel is not centrally located, but especially good for the West Edmonton mall to visit. By car it was about 5 minutes. on foot you about 30 minutes. To the airport it isn't that far. We used the Skyshuttel and other guests were incl. pick-up (+waiting times) about 45 minutes. With your own car which would be 25-30 minutes to create. It was also to Calgary for a possible day trip that badly not far. Otherwise offers Edmonton not much that badly (except for the mall), but it is in the mall plan on spending a lot of time, not only with shopping, but also with: minigolf, Badepark, bowling, billiard, food+Beverage, amusement park, watershows etc.
